Ordo doesn't really mind because the mandalorians were crushed fair and square by the most brilliant military strategist in years, while Wrex doesn't mind because Krogan are used to a cycle of nearly dying off and coming back.

Ignore the troll. Wrex is more like Ordo than Zaeed is. Wrex and Ordo are both mercs from a race of warriors that are slowly dying out because of a destructive war, who are now trying to reunite the Mandalorian Krogan clans.

I tend to think standalone episodes are better in most shows I watch, this one included. Plus less need for the 'Previously on [insert series name here]...' bit at the beginning whose length is often in inverse proportion to the quality of the coming episode. Yup, they are great, I meant the ones at the start of the show season 1-ish. It never ceases to amaze me how they can put humor into such a serious series and pull it off. This episode especially Oh wow. I need to see that episode. Now.

To be honest, by now I'm just moving around the planet at random and pressing the scan button occasionally. There are more than enough "rich" planets, so you can randomly switch between them and get enough ressources.

On the subject of ME2's mining...

I played on Insanity with a soldier for a while, but by the time I reached the collector ship the game became impossible.

I'm guessing it only works by luck and only if you use it right. But it has worked before, and it probably still works. It shouldn't, I know, but it does, otherwise no one would freaking use it.

TBH, I'm sure they know torture isn't the most reliable way to get info and probably don't use it all that much, especially when there are other more efficient options. But it might just be wishful thinking.

On the other hand I fully support spiritual successors of long dead series.
