I found him to be questionable. He seemed to be trying to be a grizzled war vet, but ended up coming across like a philopher. If they wanted a grizzled war vet they should have gotten sombody with a more forceful voice and made his character with a bit more spine.

Well the reason the Stormies are based around the people inside thus they don't have the precision that the clones have (most infamous part being the stormie banging his head on the door way in Ep4.) but personally I prefer Imperial Royal Guards.

HK in K2 seemed to lose much of his brutality. And his murderous charm. The overall storyline of the NJO series was decided from the outset. Michael A. Stackpole didn't write Chewies death rather he wrote the books immediatly afterwords. No Lucas wasn't asked only the writers were and the guy's over at lucas books were (guess they got tired of using Bantam Spectra to publish their books)

I remember an exploit where you would offer an simple tech that was 2 or 3 ages below you (for safety) and be commercial and ask for an outragous sum of money (somthing along the lines of 6 or 7 digits) and they would give it to you.

He was just so purely evil capable of destroying entire cities by himself and driving Ramsus mad. And he had an "aura" of coolness mixed in with that cool theme song of his that really set him apart. It was a b**** too to fight him the first time. That was the hardest fight in the game for me. And you are right about Xenogear's villains.
