you sound like my Uncle... wait... he works on landlines. in other news, my bipolar mixed with clinical depression and my add to make one nasty little emotional ****tail that's made it EXTREMELY hard to get myself motivated to do ANYTHING, or work, and gives me just enough hope that I can watch the candle go out for the things that go bump in the night to come and eat my soul... oh and my 'rents are in China for another week and a half so my only outlet are two very angry cats (I lock them in at night and don't like to wake before 9 am... they want out at 6 am and make this known in the WORST way possible... by A)beating the tar out of each other, or B) beating the tar out of my arms. What are you doing tomorrow? Maybe we could go do something. Working... I got a day added because Mcd's store manager is currently "out of town" I have monday and tues off then wensday on, but Thursday and friday are in jeopardy because sombody above me decided that because I was such a wreck that they needed to pull my hours to that point.so I'm going to have some... interesting times this week. Oh and I got myself a 360.

this is the one that came out in the seventies and started the whole franchise off.. and now it's being turned into a warriors game...Hmmmmmm.

I intimidated quite easily... and in ZoE2 what's the hard battles? Some of your fights are meant to be lost btw (one against Nephtis and one against Anubis.) However, when you beat the game once you get Jehuty in all of his forms (he has a form with unlimited secondary energy, and can kill most bots in one shot.)

dude.. I did the quest but he won't become a friggen MONK! Oh, I've got Dead rising on my table right now. I'm not cut out for that game

FEAR for its intesnity of graphics and the brilliant use of shadows. Dead Rising for rotting zombies And I think that Dead or alive gets props for schoolgirls.

First Look: Star Wars Animated Show
Calax replied to Kelverin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
the character designs look like they were taken directly from the Clone wars animated shorts on Cartoon Net. -
Game Rakings disagrees with you. Honestly I only saw the one that they put out for the Wii (rowing minigame and all) but it seemed like it was a pretty average shooter set to the tune of "June 4th 1942" unless your bokoshi, you might find that you prefer COD1. Another difference between the first one and the others is that the others made you more of a one man army with one guy who always tagged along to do every essential action, while the first one had your squad actually able to sometimes stay ahead of you. You weren't always the one doing everything.

I think that LOTR online actually has the right idea, they had several payment plans with the most expensive (clocking in at I think close to 200) being that once you buy the game and pay that particular price, you get a lifetime membership to the game. until the servers shut down your account will still be active. Great for consumers but horrible if the game is like wow for the devs (because a large portion of your fanbase would put the money together and buy the lifetime rather than pay incrementally more)

How was CoD2 dumbed down & consolized? The gameplay is just the same as the original. COD2 had the infamous grenade indicator and the fact that your health could regenerate quite quickly, leading several of us to believe we were actually Wolverine of Xmen fame with severe amnesia fighting for three different governments because we could. At least with medpacs you had the semblance of "hey man, it may be ludicrous but those there bandages are miracles in a box" where as now it was get hit by a tank, hid under a table for two seconds and that arm you just lost reappeared. Also the levels were shorter, to the point where I no longer felt like I was actually in a war, rather in a series of semi related brushfights. And I think that the level designers decided that they could take a holiday after finishing half the game. Then Came the Console only COD3 that EVERYONE hated (even Xplay gave it a very average 3)

Picked up a 360, controller, lost planet, and Dead rising for about 360. (I think the total came out to 368) I love working at gamestop (note it was all used.)

if one were to give complete content control to every player you'd have them all walking around with the same stuff because they'd just spawn a bunny that dropped what they wanted (at least some of them would) while others would manipulate the mobs so that newbies would come up against a block of guys who could murder them, their mother, their grandmother, and Cant's evil twin in one fell swoop. Role players would build up armies of mobs to attack the main cities then when the mobs won the players would beef up the mobs in the city and proclaim that nobody could enter the city because it had fallen to the evil forces... then the geeks who planed all this would cyber in the 'throne room' of each place.

But that theme lacks the "sweet but sick" aspect I was aiming to. your not sick... just a bit of a perv. Should I use tenchi instead of that one?

I think that they should ultimatly keep bond as BOND... I mean you don't expect to keep an entire generation who grew up with bond being a suave debonair spy who didn't do THAT much running, jumping, flying back flips and brutality, to keep loving the "new direction" you take bond... at least not in the stark way they did it. probably going to wait for pirates to come to dvd, I know I will see F4 and Transformers in theatres.

some would argue that NWN2 was a considerable life saver.. However for every sequel that saves a franchise theres 2 dozen that kill the suckers.

Just going to say that probably the best gm event games is probably COH/COV. In a couple of instances The "Legends" of the world would go out and get into a massive fight which the characters could participate in. Admittedly this was generally in the world of open beta but every so often it happened in the real world (like the Raluruu invasion that preceeded an opening of another zone) where the devs and GMs would make a character and use the "boss monster" level to fight against hordes of players. In the COV beta ending event, you had the devs suit up as themselves (their board names where the characters in the faux JLA that they loved) and the GM's running around as "Agents" which were suped up basic mobs. it was quite fun. HOWEVER, what every mmo cannot do is have the game world be affected by the players in a significant way because, quite simply, anyone who had just started a character would scream if, for example, in WoW we were to have Naxx come crashing down on Strat and completely demolish strathome because a single group of players mopped the floor with everything in there. heck EVERYONE would start crying about that because then they couldn't get a super special mount, and they wouldn't ever be able to experience Strat at any point. because then you'd have the devs working overtime to find things that they could change only to have the same group on each server change it asap.

Great! Can I get my extravagent lifestyle funded by the taxpayer now? what!? aren't you already!? what kind of princess are you? the deposed kind.

just saw shrek three... Felt like the entire movie was just a set up for sets of one liners. the story was similar to Chronicles of Riddick in that it was a bit on the short side (wheeee three plot points total!)

Yep. I had that problem. Albeit I didn't download any patches. Teehee. It is really annoying especially when you have trek through like the Red Giant mountains and you end up with the classic, "You must gather your party before venturing forth". try either letting them die (one answer) or doing a verbal command to wake them up (got that from Gorth) zone of the enders was such a sweet game. Man I remember looking through games and decided to take a chance on it and rent it and while it was short and stuff I remember it being really sweet. I didn't know they made a second one though. Update once you play through plz. After you play ZoE2 you won't be able to play ZOE without screaming and tossing the controller (because the controls and movements are SO MUCH BETTER. also you don't have over sized bad guys all that much.)
