What you having for dinner tonight?
MacD's Is a perfectly respectable option if you are wanting something quick, very predictable, and low risk. If that's what you want, then I shan't mock you.

Where are you really from
In terms of how you came to be who you are, it's always going to be a mix. I mean, for starters most of us grew up watching US TV shows. We have different parents, and read different books, and love different cinema and music. I do, however, insist that one should pick a country and show loyalty to it. Modern society is far too ****ing pick'n'mix when it means you might have to sacrifice anything. And I don't mean your life. I mean, anything from a custard bun upwards.

If - as I think is very unlikely - obyknven and LoF are two different people then I for one am actually happier with oby. At least oby is transparently wrong.

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
Mungri, your obsession with 3D being bad is pretty creepy.

This review is everything that is wrong about the gaming industry today
Without an objective standard against which the game could be rated, reviews are always going to be pish.

Neverwinter Nights' magic missile
The story was weak-knee'd bosh. Not sure how converting to 3D automatically made D&D fail. I'm worried now, in case something else I like gets turned into 3D and suddenly explodes.

Modern wars
Someone's got hold of an old issue of Jane's... Soviet era shipping was designed to let loose as much petal metal as possible. They therefore crammed as much kit as possible into their ships. The consequence was that it was practically impossible to service at sea, and the seakeeping behaviour of the ships meant significant strain on the crews. This in turn meant ships could not stay at sea for significant periods without impacting operational readiness. It was believed that this unwillingness to stay at sea had a detrimental effect on deeper readinesss through poor training standards. Inference: first order win equals second and third order fail.

I can't wait to see how you're going to explain this.

It's lazier, I'll grant you. But do I prefer the lengthy diatribes on the arbitrary nature of human rights, the breathy anticipation of revolutionary slaughter, and the overweening intellectual airs and graces? Not so much.

Best Police in the World
I used to work with a guy who got stopped and searched by the cops so much that they gave him a job coming in and talking to new coppers about the problem. He said that cops are 'blueskins'. They aggravation and threats. They lose friends. They have a crap time, pretty much. And this is a guy who used to hate cops. All because people just see a uniform. The same way some cops just saw him as a n*****. He said that cop hating and racism was all part of the same tangle of bull****.

Can't do crust. I've been toying with the idea of a sort of meat cobbler.

Trueneutral: 1) If you exhibit technical skills - and I assume you want to - you are inevitably going to be told to manage people, eventually. 2) If you find managing people weird, it's because IT IS. Bossing people is psychotic and weird. Do not 'boss'. My advice is to learn about 'flat' management. Lead by your example. Empower your team, give them credit for what they do, make them tea. You get better results*, and you don't get as stressed. 3) Having management experience on your CV is good. Provided you can prove you delivered. It can also be a trap. My god, but it can! ~ My final advice would be: you're young. ****ing go for it. *Assuming you do not have a team packed full of arseholes. In which case step 1 is to ditch them asap.

Not sure where the humour is on this one. I think he is just abashed with glee at the thought of bully policemen having to deal with vicious criminals that will fire at them. And people wonder why some cops 'hate' civilians?

Propaganda is when no-one shows the pictures. BTW, your acting standards have slipped even further. You can't just drop prepositions. You sound like a Dr Who villain.
