I should add that MMOs are evil, and a VtM MMO would be all the bad things about VtM live roleplaying, but without being able to poke people in their flabby pasty guts and demand they stop pretending to be a lissom acrobat.

I remember them because when I were a young 'un we didn't have PCs! They were good, although I confess I used to ignore the dice thing because I was just very very bad at maths. I used to imagine the fight in my head. Although I think the fact that I used to lose quite often is illuminating. Malkavian is an outstanding thing in VtM. Almost all the fething coversations are given a new and drastic twist. Well worth it for a first play through as i did. I hate Malks in pnp, but I suddenly saw what they could be. Madness doesn't have to be annoying.

Personally I just loved the immersion by story and presentation in Homeworld.

I think another point to bear in mind is that VtM could have established a new franchise success line. Sequels, like repeat customers, are commercially very very tasty. I know I'd buy a sequel of it. However, as I may have already said, I have played without encountering one single solitary bug, even without any patches (I forgot to install them)!

Grom, if troika really didn't make novel stuff then obviously my argument falls down. In this instance. 'Though i believe it still holds true in general terms. However, i don't think seeing three publishers make the same decision means it was a conpsiracy. I'm saying it's quite common. Particularly in engineering. Look at MRAV/Boxer.
