Firstly, I think I've been pretty clear in my examples that I don't think teh Russians are the only people who violate human rights in this way. Secondly, I don't give a flying **** if they think hetero marriage keeps the sun in the sky. My grandmother - who was in many respects a wonderful woman - thought Asians were thieves. There is such a thing as just wrong.# EDIT: I've never understood how gayness threatens hetero marriage.I don't like really thin chicks, but it doesn't threaten their marriages. If anything it makes them safer.

Better than constipated and perspiring! Confirm that.

August 15th - girls jumping in the air day

I also thought they looked much older than 17/18 year olds who had just finished school? That's just the wonders of 'yoof' in the UK. 15 going on 50. Fake tans, lattes, hoop ear-rings you could trip a triceratops with... -
They should shave it onto the side of a live cow. That'd lead to some conflicted inspectors of sanity.

You appear to be angry - yet again - about the interest the West shows in civil rights and abuses of those rights. Counter attacking by accusing us of racism no doubt sounds cleverer in your head than it does in print. It is not racism to regard the rights of human beings in another country as being just as worthy of protection as those in our own. It is not racism to suggest that corrupt and violent men can sway great nations such as Russia from behaving in a decent fashion. It is not racism to observe that compared with violent assaults on homosexuals, simply being a homosexual is not important. It is not racism to suggest that compared with political murder, and organised crime, Russia is not at threat from humans falling in love. You argue that we should 'mind our business'. No doubt our governments and businessmen would agree with you. They thought this wise in Rwanda and the Balkans. They think it wise in Sri Lanka and Sudan. But it always returns to ordinary people to think one ordinary thing: how would I feel? How would I feel having my rights taken away, threatened with prison, or with death? Threatened not because of a crime I might commit, but because of a crime _I AM_.

My dear boy. In my opinion the original A-team, locked in a garage with an oxy-acetylene blowtorch couldn't do much for YOUR sanity. ~ Realised I've been having a migraine all day. Am now also suffering hypochondria.

We're just saying that Putin might want to cover up lest he fall foul of his own legislation.

Amazing that the crowd isn't dispersing despite apparently taking live rifle or MG fire. Clearly teargas (mentioned earlier) is in use, or has been used. Also fascinating to me is how the crowd is suppressed differentially. many people are peeking or even sitting in full view. You've got folks getting hit, and all sort sof different reactions. Crazy that compared with when I was young the way you've got handheld cameras and reportage happening at this low level. ~ Trainspotter aside: I got confused and thought those might be Fuchs APCs, but suspected they weren't so checked. They are homegrown 'Fahd' APCs, modelled along similar lines to fuchs.

But wouldn't sodomy be a rather favourable outcome to a date? I'm too chivalrous to dish it out, and too old fashioned to receive it gracefully. I'm afraid.

I'd say I've met bad lawyers. And I've met great lawyers. But a good lawyer?

Aside: And I looked and beheld a gay horse, and his name that sat on him was Putin, and arseholes followed with him.

A thought ocurs to me. Youtube. Viz this rather splendid video from My Drunk Kitchen's presenter: Presumably that would mean content like this would have to be blocked or be illegal in Russia. But what about political parties which happen to be anti-Putin and also pro gay rights? There could a lot more to this than just bigotry.

But I thought they were gathering power around themselves the way a man who's been feeling sick all day and is now hungry gathers takeaway menus.

Can't bake cake. Whatever I bake cakewise turns into something from the 19th century Royal Navy. EDIT: Not sodomy.

The Daily Mash pretty much just posted this picture in response to the news.

Not that gonking fast if it took three years. Just for the record, I think I got the swearword "gonk" from that square robot with two feet in the jawa sandcrawler.

Most of the criticism seems t obe that you aren't in a room with your opponent, drinking beer. I get that. But is it relevant? No.

For reference: how many pro-homosexual beatings have there been in Russia to date?

They are very clearly some sort of pasty.

The more I look at her the more I suspect that her half-closed eyes are less the dreamy humidity of the temptress, and more the high pitched buzz of the dialling tone.- 610 replies

Yeah I hardly think that homosexual propaganda is having a measurable impact compared with the boots of the neo-nazis. However, I would gently remind the members that oby is far from circumspect on this point. I know it's only an alt, but do try and pay attention.
