NHL 2005 was the first hockey game I had played in 10 years, and it greatly disappointed me, but on the whole I normally really enjoy EA Sports games.

MMOs are fine for a variety of things if you are into them. They all largely revolve around level-grinding, multiplayer dungeon raids, and PvP. If you enjoy those things then play a MMO. If you want story, variety, etc. then stay away from MMOs. And for all the postiive social experiences in an MMO, expect a bunch more of newbs begging for free gear, 1337 speak, cheating, annoying PKers when you are first starting out, etc.

The Camarilla is the official White Wolf fan club. They have a global LARP chronicle with thousands of players playing in one game across multiple continents. It is quite cool really to have your character develop fame across such a large chronicle, and then to attend the ICC Conclave and meet various characters in person that you've roleplayed online with across the miles. Having a LARP game with 1,000 people in the same hotel in and of itself is pretty damned cool. Too bad the organization is one of the most corrupt I've seen.

I don't plan on upgrading to Windows Vista. It requires 4 times the memory of Windows XP, doesn't offer any great new features, and ruins some great things. You can't watch HD video on Windows Vista, because it requires a monitor that supports a new DRM, and no such monitor exists yet. All the great aspects of Windows Vista have been removed, as those features won't be ready in time, while a bunch of features that open new security holes are present. Great. Seriously, I defend Windows XP all the time, but avoid Vista like the plague.

A big part of that is that liberals don't show up to vote.

This game has been a mess from the get-go. But I maintain that I will set it out.

We are so bad as a group. We can't stay IC very long. But what little we did IC was pretty good.

Some people only keep MP3s at 192 kpbs or higher, which takes up a lot more room. I normaly keep my MP3's at 12b kbps, which is about 4 megs a song, so 4 gigs would hold 1,000 songs. I have about 20 gigs of MP3's in my collection, and having 4 with me at any given moment wouldn't be bad at all. I could happily live with a 1 gig player honestly.

I have seen the original and really dug it. It was a fairly serious movie and I don't know about a comedic remake.

There are alot of bad movies out right now, but we had a good summer of popcorn flicks.

If I install DirectX 10 (when it comes out) I will actually decrease performance of games that use DirectX 9? Personally, I think that would make me very reticent to purchase DirectX 10 games, or install DirectX 10 until I see overwhelmingly good reasons.
