I played on the XBox, and didn't use any cheats. Sorry.

Bored so who did you hate the most from both KotOR

I don't mind Wookies, but both were pretty bland characters. -
You study inactivity? My wife is good at that!

The actual arena pit is circular. I managed to lure them there, and then run around the circle, firing and running. Try to only fight two or three at a time.

Portable Gaming Illegal in Greece
EnderAndrew replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Computer and Console
I had a book of weird laws. The preface said that before the advent of radio, most people got their news from newspapers, and there was a poor flow of information around the country. When people were campaigning for office, they'd say I passed X laws this year, and so long as they passed several laws they'd get reelected. So tons of silly laws were passed just to pass something. I've seen laws forbidding whale hunting in Oklahoma, and sleeping with virgins in Washington, etc. etc. -
That battle was a little tough for me, so I acted like a chump. Keep your distance and run away alot. Mira is only really useful at ranged combat. Kill a few bounty hunters, and then if need be, wait in a safe location while you run and grab a soda. Your life will regen.

I haven't played the third one yet. I intend to however. I heard an Onimusha 4 is in the works now, and will reinvent the franchise the way RE4 reinvented RE. -

I haven't found any articles saying the law has been repealed yet. -
That's because the mosquitos aren't drinking the blood for themselves. Female mosquitos only bite you when they are trying to get food for their young. So when you smack a mosquito, you are orphaning little helpless babies who can't fend for themselves. Isn't that great?

Portable Gaming Illegal in Greece

I noted the article was 3 years old. Right now I don't know if the law is in effect, but I might be able to find out with a bit of research. Even if the law has since been repealed, or deemed unenforceable, I think it's screwed up to pass the law in the first place. What harm does a portable Tetris game really have on society? -
Havok Taps Multicore Processing Power
EnderAndrew replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Computer and Console
I agree that major developers seem to overlook actual gameplay (Morrowind comes to mind), but I think that we have gotten new features in games compared to 5 or 10 years ago. I think with the advent of a handheld market we should see independent games, or simpler games ported there because of the smaller price-point, and the lack of high-end graphics. Tycho from Penny Arcade suggested the same a few days back. I wouldn't pay $50 for Galaga today, but if something with it's addictive gameplay was selling for $20 on the GBA or PSP, I'd be all for it. Such a market and lower price point would put pressure on high-end game developers to innovate even more to justify the prices of their games. -
Though people commonly refer to Bushido as the Samurai code, Bushido applied to all warriors in feudal Japan, like Ashigaru. Samurai were in a caste all to themselves, and their path wasn't one simply of war. While they had to uphold Bushido, they had a higher moral path in addition to Bushido.

There was a very brief period I decided to get into comics. The entire X-Men/Marvel universe was affected Apocalypse (if I recall) went into the past and killed Xavier before his school for mutants was ever created. Magneto became a major power, and the war between mutants and humans was significantly worse. All of their comic lines that acknowledged the whole mutant line (Excalibur, Mutant X, Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, etc) all suddenly changed to an entirely new universe. I saw it as the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a darker, more oppressive storyline. I really enjoyed it, but at some point in time, suddenly someone realized that their universe shouldn't exist and so they uninvented their timeline by stopping Apocalypse from going into the past. Any storyarch that revolves around a group of people trying to uninvent their existance bothers me. Most theories on quantum physics suggests the existance of multiple timelines simultaneously. At the point Xavier was killed, the main universe didn't cease to exist, but rather a branch universe was created. Destroying said universe and ending countless existances pointlessly is not cool in my book, and a weak plot device. Plus it was weak for Marvel to suddenly pretend every comic they did for a year didn't exist as they want back to the old status quo. I haven't bought a single Marvel comic book since, and only read a few Star Wars comics.

Just as a small nitpick, Bushido is the Way of a Bushi, a warrior. Hagakure is specifically the way of the Samurai. It seems most people don't know the difference.

Havok Taps Multicore Processing Power
EnderAndrew replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Computer and Console
It's difficult for most programmers to properly utilize these tools, but the new middleware is supposed to make it easier to integrate said tools. Again, Oblivion utilizes Havok, and one preview I read on the game had a player utilizing stealth and clever tactics. He lured critters around a cave into a complex trap, demonstrating supposedly realistic physics. We'll see when I play the game. However, I remember how happy I was when I first installed Ultima: Ascension (with really high hopes) and I saw barrels float when tossed in water, while heavier objects sank to the bottom. I'm all about the details. -
He also said fans rip on Bryan Singer the same way Ratner is getting ripped on. Last time I checked, fans seem to love directors like Raimi, Nolan and Singer, while hating directors like Schumacher and Ratner. People are extremely positive about Superman's development simply because of the involvement of Singer. Marvel and Fox are the one's acting like idiots. I'm not paying to see X-3.

Havok Taps Multicore Processing Power
EnderAndrew replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Computer and Console
Actually, I think that we're seriously moving up in the world. The next-gen consoles and processors aren't just about new GPUs and higher poly-gon counts. With impressive multi-core CPUs, we can see better processing of physics, AI and the like. We can see more complex games, more models on the screen at once, and worlds that seem to live and thrive. Oblivion's engine doesn't just have prettier trees. The engine calculates weather erosion, soil deposits and the like to create a realistic virual ecosystem. -
This just in! Marvel Studios CEO Avi Arad spoke with Zap2it about X-Men 3, wherein he defended the choice of Brett Ratner to direct the sequel. Ratner, a last-minute replacement for Matthew Vaughn, has been met with heavy criticism from fanboys in certain quarters of the Internet. IGN FilmForce readers have sent plenty of feedback on the choice, almost all of it negative. So what does Arad think of Ratner's critics? "Idiots." He actually said it twice just to be clear. ..... Although Arad can't find positive words for "Money Talks" or "After the Sunset," he's certainly effusive about his new employee. Fans, though, aren't as certain. Although few details from the sequel have come forth since Ratner's introduction, rumors of the addition of a new hooker mutant who may or may not be little-used character Stacy X have produced reactions from confusion -- several new characters including Beast and Juggernaut already need to be introduced -- to general disgust. Arad won't confirm or deny any specific changes, but he says that Ratner has, indeed, already left his fingerprints all over the script, originally written by Zak Penn and Simon Kinberg. http://www.zap2it.com/movies/news/story/0,...--26229,00.html

Genital warts in one's rectum can look like mushrooms. I'm not sure if Baley knows that. I can get 1080i with component cables, and I don't know about 1080p since my TV doesn't support it. But with the HD-DVD drive, you have to have HDMI or you don't get a high-def signal, period.
