I could never hit Cliffracers with a bow and arrow, even when I was aiming dead center. Don't ask me why. 3rd person was fine. The real secret to mastering MW combat was clicking the box that said "Always use best attack". Thankfully, combat is different in Oblivion, and will be more like Jade Empire. Now, if the AI is better than Jade Empire (some early reviews are really impressed with the AI), then maybe I won't fall asleep playing the game.

People need to get over DX:IW. Spector had an obligation to back the game, as he was the studio director. You don't hear Feargus saying, "I've hired people to work on KOTOR:2, and I sign their paychecks but I think they're all idiots." Spector is a professional, and whether in retrospect he feels things were handled well or poorly on DX:IW, he's probably not going to say. If he worked on the game directly he is entitled to self-criticism, but it's really bad form for him to rip a current or former employee when it's not going to suddenly make the game better. What do you really expect from him? He had 20 really GREAT titles, and one that missed the mark that he didn't even work on, but we should all be bitter? Grow up, or change your name to Visceris.

I enjoyed the remake to an extent, but the controls still suck.

I've always heard that the XBox sold poorly in Europe, but I've also heard that partially it is because of the size and appearance of the XBox. Appliances and electronics tend to be smaller in Europe.

In a point-based system, no one is going to be really good in everything as well because people who specialize in areas will be better in those areas than people who spread their points all over the place. D&D also offers very little to the player who wants to be the jack-of-all trades, and some players want that option. The multi-class/dual-class rules in 2E were flat out stupid and broken. Even most 2E fans admit that. I have never once ran into a problem with point-based systems where players didn't specialize in different areas. Again, if you are trusting your players to pick classes that will complement each other for the sake of creating a party, why do you assume players can't do the same with point-based systems?

I completely agree. That's the clinching point of the arguement personally. If we believed there was no such thing as free will, wouldn't apathy and ennoi set in? I believe in free will, because I can't accept the reverse arguement.
