Egad, it's 64x64. I forgot. Most places will allow up to 100x100. 64x64 is just silly, especially considering the galleries preuploaded don't conform to 64x64. And since someone recently compared me to a vengeful Old Testament diety, I figured a lighter avatar might help my image.

F-Zero, Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Pokemon, etc. all were just as good, if not better in previous incarnations. They weren't really recreated for a new gen the way Metroid Prime was. Nintendo seemed content to just slightly upgrade the game and charge $50 again. In other instances, they actually release old games and expect you to purchase them for a second or third time. And if that's the biggest feature of the Revolution is that I now have an opportunity to buy them yet again, color me unimpressed. RE4 is now multiplatform. That leaves Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime 1 and 2 as 3 seemingly must-have GC exclusives. Twilight Princess will probably make a 4th, and Mario 128 could have made a 5th. But the console has been out 4 years, and if you don't have at the very least, 1 must have title a year, I consider that poor support for your console. I could make arguements that Sony and M$ had atleast 5 really incredible titles each year. Nintendo fans like to defend the few quality titles they have, but it is clear they don't have the number of quality titles like Sony. Honestly, wouldn't we all win if Nintendo decided to release their titles on the PS3? They could innovate all day long, and have more power to do so as well. Furthermore, we wouldn't be stretched to buy 3 consoles.

I work in IT for Harrahs Casinos. I do a pretty good job of preventative maintenance on most systems here, so while IT at other properties often is busy with plenty of work fixing broken things, I get to play on the net all day. I'm the king of uptime.

I sure don't see a burn. Weiser simply said there are more efficient ways of doing things occassionally, so we don't need more power. I think it's a silly attitude, as more power certainly doesn't hurt. Nintendo is defending the position of putting out cheap, weak hardware saying "power isn't important". While gameplay is probably the most important factor, there is a reason why people buy new consoles each generation. We want more power and better graphics. We want better immersion. Games like Pac-Man, Pong and Galaga have incredible gameplay, but people would rather play Halo today. It is pretty hard to market and sell a product with clearly inferior graphics, but Nintendo is more interested in a console that sells for a profit than pushing the envelope and giving us the best possible product. Sony and M$ are willing to take a loss on hardware to give us the best possible product. Nintendo is supposed to make up for it with great titles, and I felt cheated buying both the N64 and GC. They're really going to have to sell me on the Revolution.

The very first RE game (and it's remake) are fairly creepy. It was the first video game to honestly scare me, even with some of the worst voice acting every commited to 1's and 0's. I played 2 and 3, which were action gore-fests. They were very different from the first game, and they were about pure survival. 4 is supposed to a complete reinvention of the genre and some have said, the best game ever released on the Cube.

There were two Ultima spinoff games released on the Game Boy, called Rune of Virtue and Rune of Virtue 2. Eerily enough, Ultima VII was also on the SNES, and it could be ported to the GBA.
