In a proper role-playing environment, I really enjoy Gangrels because unlike most clans, you are allowed to be unique. Most clans carry stereotypes and clan politics, while Gangrels are loners and survivors. They are taleswappers and travellers, but your clanmates aren't looking over your shoulder telling you what to do. The WoD is an oppressive setting, and the Camarilla is a dangerous place of political intrigue. Gangrels are given a wide berth, and they are quite combat capable to boot.

Overall, I am a big fan of the NForce Ultra 4 chipset, but it sounds like you already got a mobo.

Grr. I guess I am fired. If you haven't been following processors lately, the AMD 64 line is really impressive. They have a new Hypertransport technology which completely changes motheboards. Instead of a Northbridge and Southbridge which control the FSB, the processor now has a direct serial connection to each component on the motherboard. The 1,000 mHz Hypertransport boards act like a typical 2,000 mHz FSB. It's quite nice.

Havok Taps Multicore Processing Power
They did release the Itanium, only to pull it off the market after they were sued for stealing technology, and then they released the Itanium 2, which couldn't run any 32-bit code. That was brilliant. The AMD Athlon 64 was the first CPU to run 64-bit and 32-bit code seemlessly.

Sadly enough, I never played a Consular. I played Weapons Master, and I had more than enough Force Points, and my Force Powers were pretty deadly. But I had mean lightsaber skills to boot.

Your fondest RPG moment...
I have yet to gain Alanschu influence. I am falling behind in T.O.M.B.S. I'm thinking I need to post my T.O.M.B.S. character sheet on my website pretty soon. Does anyone have the T.O.M.B.S. logo that was made up a while back?

Yet Intel initially was really marketing them as 64-bit chips when they really aren't.

If I'm fighting one weak critter (a cannock for instance) by itself, it's not likely to hurt me. If I'm fighting 10 at once, it's another story.

Both Redemption and Bloodlines were partially true to the PnP mechanics, but I can't say which was more true to the mechanics until I play Bloodlines.

A tactic really underused in game design is to have a couple tank characters bum-rush you, while some ranged fighters hang back and tear you up as well.

I have a bunch of pedophile jokes, but I don't think the mods would appreciate them.

Everyone who I know finished the game said they loved up right up to the horrid ending, assuming they could get the game to run. However, I'm a bit more skeptical as I really love the pen-and-paper rules for Vampire which they completely ditched, and for no good reason that I could fathom. They had them licensed, but instead decided to use different mechanics, and replace the disciplines with random new ones. Mist Form isn't Mist Form, it's Super Wolf Form. Stuff like that.

I think swarms should be used in certain circumstances, and a small number of tough units at other times. It's all about variety.

http://www.newegg.com/OldVersion/app/ViewP...-116-195&depa=0 The EMT64 feature is the ability to run 64-bit instructions. They run them poorly however as they are still 32-bit chips.

Except none of them are remotely tough, even when they try to match your level. Attempting to balance based on the PC's level is necessary in non-linear games to an extent.

If I was wearing a diaper like the one in his avatar, I'd be grumpy too. Random question, if men get crotchety as they get older, do women get snatchety?

Havok Taps Multicore Processing Power
Most people don't know that AMD has had a 64-bit processor out for well over 2 years.
