nothing all that exciting lately there was a party on the weekend, and had a friend stay with me for a couple of nights. ended up staying up chatting with her all night, so didn't get much sleep for work i do have the next couple of days off, so i think i may go for a swim tomorrow or something *shrug*

in the past 6 months or so, i know 2 people that have broken their backs considering the grave nature of the injury i'm astounded that they have both pulled through remarkably well, with no major permanent problems i can only hope your brother in law brings that up to 3 lucky souls

finally heard back about the sentencing the piece of **** who burnt down my friend's place has been sentenced to 2 years, 3 months in prison. he was trying to get off and instead get sent to a drug clinic but thankfully the judge didn't believe his bull****

finally got back round to continuing my game of NWN2 had only just gotten to Neverwinter. Now i'm on chapter 2 and i gotta say i'm bloody sick of the city watch defeating a guild of thieves, tribes of orcs, etc just to be allowed into a certain portion of the city, and by the time you can actually go to that damn area, it's open to everyone again also, i want to kill Neeshka and Grobnar

i have spent the past few days partying and adventuring super super tired now though. no idea how much i drank or how many hills i climbed or how many hours i've spent in the forest. it's been interesting to say the least, and i think a good way to finish my time off work

my head hurts and it's too bright outside party went well though

planning party at my place for sometime this weekend there's already 2 parties i'm supposed to be going to, and considering i only have a 2 bedroom place i'll have to pick and choose who to invite. i know far too many people

considering the crazy multitudes of characters and plotlines in WoT, i assume they'll do a Knights of the Old Republic and have the game set in another time period ie Trolloc Wars or Artur Hawkwing could be cool, could be epic fail guess i'll wait to hear some more info about it

i had a pretty standard weekend party on friday night - got home about 5am or so went to a friend's family dinner thing on saturday night and apparently her family thinks i'm scary. silly conservatives... oh noes! a boy with long hair! aaaaaaargh after the dinner went to another party and ended up seeing a few friends i hadn't seen in ages, which was nice nothing overly interesting happened - just a normal weekend

I am beginning to think you just make up these awesome stories I hope so too. The idea that I meet people at random who buy me beer while telling me fascinating stories is just weird. Then again Shyrke's life could be an MTV show Shryke's life is evil and must be burned. hey come on fellas, i have my dull moments i haven't really been up to all that much lately to be honest i'm currently on leave from work for a couple of weeks, so i've been trying to find things to fill all the spare time i've suddenly found myself with so far i've just generally stuffed around, caught up with a few people i hadn't seen in a while, went to the city gallery today with a friend to see some cool artwork, and caught up with a few errands around the house i did meet an interesting character the other day though. i met some aussie dude who is walking an entire circuit around the country carting a rickshaw full of equipment for "light therapy healing" he had some interesting ideas about conciousness and chi and stuff, but the idea of healing cancer by shining a light on someone's wrist just sounds bloody absurd plus every topic of conversation seemed to steer towards his idea of "God" and going tripping on cactus...

tomorrow is Waitangi Day, so for once i wont have to work on a saturday so tonight after work i'm gonna be going to a parkour workshop thingy, then getting boozed with an ex i haven't hung out with in ages

i'm sure i've argued this with Volo before, but i found Jade Empire good for one playthrough and then forget about it entirely the story was nothing special. not overly bad, but nothing overly good either from memory there were a couple of token "good" closed fist choices and "bad" open palm, but for the majority of the game it was the generic "nice guy" or "jerk" responses the combat... ugh the combat i chose tiger strike and longsword at the start, and never had to do a single thing except spam the attack button, and if they were immune to one, switch to the other never needed to use chi strikes, barely had to ever heal, and never used focus mode i tried to play through a second time, but i really couldn't get into it. i got as far as the imperial city then gave up

i haven't done anything overly interesting more parties on the weekend, exhausted days at work etc but at least my back isn't so twisted and knotted and ****ed up anymore - i got given a massage at the party there are also new musical plans. i need to borrow an acoustic bass and start singing again, as we only have just over a month to put the plan into practice

so yesterday's plans didn't quite go according to plan didn't go to the exhibition and didn't meet up with the friend who's been away instead i saw the girl from guy fawke's again we went to the park and chilled out in the sun, then wandered down some alleyway and found bubblewrap stuck on the ground so we jumped on that for a while, then went to the waterfront and got icecream and played around on the swings we may be going out again next week sometime. she said she wants an excuse to wear her ****tail dress, and i have to wear a suit i did still go to the party after she left. there was a keg and someone questioned by drinking abilities the challenge could not be left unanswered hehe
