Books
what's peoples opinion on Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series i read the first book years ago but don't really remember anything about it at all and recently at a friends place read through the first 60 or so pages of it it seems kinda mediocre, and in no way caught my attention. i was just curious to see if the series got any better and whether it's worth a shot

What you did today
in a gooooood mood went to a gig last night. the girl i met on guy fawke's was there, so was hanging out with her for most of the night. then we met some pretty cool randoms and went back to theirs for drinks after the show. never quite made it home, and wasn't too pleased with having to get up while the girls got to stay in bed, while i rushed back to my place for a shower etc and head off to work

What you did today
last night a couple of friends and i went on an adventure decided to go for a walk to find a nice spot to watch the sunset and ended up walking up some tiny bush trail for about 2 hours until we got to the top of the hill we missed the sunset, though we did find some glow worms next to the trail

Movies you have seen recently
watched Sauna and Outpost last night Sauna was okay. Was about the end of a war between Sweden and Russia and a group of people travelling and writing up new borders. One of the main characters is a swedish soldier haunted by the murders he's committed during the war. It's definitely a movie that leaves a lot up to the viewer to interpret Outpost on the other hand was a bit lame. Guy hires some mercenaries to protect him while he checks out an old nazi bunker - pseudo ghost/zombie killings ensue *yawn*

Good Jul!
i've worked over the holidays for the past 3 years, so this time it was nice to get out and enjoy the day for once although not with my family, with a friend's her mum seems to like me so she invited me to come spent the day in the sun playing hackey sack, tightrope walking, having a massive water fight, and then indulging in large amounts of awesome food and booze all in all a pretty damn good day
