After Seeing This I Am Kinda Upset
SilverSun replied to XboxSithLord's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Thats what I meant, in SW More so in games then Movies/Books,all it takes to create something in SW is someone to come up with an idea and place it in there. Some people will hate it,others will love it,some won't care. But considering all the things in SW that are "impossible" something like that could be done if they wanted to. Wouldn't be the first time something placed into the series upset someone in someway. -

Possible IRL? No. But we're not talking RL we're talking SW. Anyway I tend to think the "Silver" blade isn't going to look metalic it'll look like you said off white/light grayish(see pics which,as I said, may or may not be the "Silver" saber.) much like "Silver" text using the Hex codes. Silver just sounds better then calling it Off White/Grayish. -
What's the last of the planets going to be?

No Tachs were the little monkey like things on Kashyyyk. Those things in the screen weren't seen in Knights,I just can't think of what they're called. -

I really want a pic of a silver saber. http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/rpg/kotor2/screens.html?page=71 http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/rpg/kotor2/screens.html?page=72 Don't know if it was confirmed if those were in fact the "Silver" saber. But it's not blue, might be the light green but those screens came out around the same time that Silver was first said. Personally I like how that one looks, could be a tad darker though. -
Free feats of starting classes?
SilverSun replied to Jeremiah's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Armor and force pry won't happen, messes with the system of balance I would think. As for the Sen,I'm just hoping in the end they end with a few more feats then a Con and few more powers then a Guardian. That happens and I'll be more then happy. Wouldn't mind the implant feat but I could live without it. -

I think that screen is Dxun. And those little creatue aren't gizka, forget what they're called but they're not gizka. -
The agony of picking a class
SilverSun replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think it's combo of you playing them same and your own personal bias against anything Jedi in games. But if that floats your boat, more power to ya. -
Designer Rambling: Wookiees
SilverSun replied to Chris Avellone's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Wookies were pretty good for battle. Lots of strength and constitution. Their only weakness was dex. Which is why I'm hoping this character is a Soldier. Could apply the points that were in Zal's int to his Dex,least some of them. Still would be at somewhat lacking because of no armor but that's fine as long as he/she isn't as easy to hit as Zal. -
The agony of picking a class
SilverSun replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Understandable,I'm really interested in seen what the skills have to offer in this game seeing how that's been on things that had a large effort made to improve. So a Sen is pry what'll start out with. On the other hand I almost always went Con in Knights,as you said the Force power improvements are something else I want to see. But I figure my first time through I can check out the different powers through all the different Jedi characters but I can't see how much the Skills for the PC have been improved on another character. So I'll pry go Sen my first time, though that's not 100%. -
Will Hk-50 be as good as Hk-47
SilverSun replied to Sith Emperor's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I know I should know the answer to this but, was it ever confirmed that HK-50's role would be over after Peragus? By a Dev? No,so there's room for speculation there I admit. But the info we have now is that he's done. Could be way considering that was said be Game Informer. -

((Spoilers)) S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S Was never a big 47 fan but considering the info at the moment is that 50 is done after P.Station I'm not sure how 50 could really be better. -

SilverSun replied to Chris Avellone's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That would be cool. I hope whatever he is, he's worth using this time around, not just in terms of raw fighting ability, but also character-wise. Agreed, the character needs to have a strong story and personality if he/she is going to have a chance and getting people to like him/her. Maybe even more then some of the other party members simply because everyone thought Zal was so weak. If the wookiee can play good defense, rebound, and block shots I'll be happy. ... Cute. -

SilverSun replied to Chris Avellone's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yes that they are trying to do,which is good because some people loved to use the character in battles before, now he has use that everyone can use even those that don't. As for the Wookiee, hope the Wookiee is solider class. Would be fun to create a hand to hand fighting Wookiee with their str,and the solider class would put more points in Dex then Int,most likely anyway. -

SilverSun replied to Chris Avellone's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well after P.Station I don't think force is the right word. You can switch party members in out as need be in most places, least you could in Knights so I see no reason to assume you can't here. So if even if you don't use them in a battle you'll pry be able to put T3 and/or Bao into your party, work on what you want to work on,then put back whoever you want to fight with. And yes it is a total of 3,the PC and two others. -

SilverSun replied to Chris Avellone's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Bao and T3 can work like a portable workbench when your "in the field" so to speak. So instead of running back to the Hawk if you want to mess with some item you've found you can use Bao and T3,the way that info was phrased I'm going to guess they have certain things they can and can't do so in order to have a "full working bench" you need both of them. Here's the quote. We have workbenches in the game; between Bao-Dur and T3, both of them combine to make a full portable workbench you can access at any time. -

Snow in games is usually fun. Snow IRL got old rather fast. -

SilverSun replied to Chris Avellone's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Now THERE'S another character I didn't like: T3. I really hope he'll be more interactive in K2 and the new wookiee with have more of a personality. That would rock. That I agree with, more so with the Wookiee then T3. Because even if T3 doesn't have a lot of personality behind him, between him and Bao you have a portable workbench so he'll have a use to him even if it's not in battle and for conversations. -

SilverSun replied to Chris Avellone's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Somehow I doubt that the Wookiee is on P. Station. :D And as for HK...even if it's a loyal droid,if 47 is anything to go by,a lot of "accidents" happen when they're around. I'd rather not have one around in my group thanks. Maybe I'll see if Bao and T3 can break him down, pry all sorts of neat little thingamabobs I can make with HK parts. -

All good points. Just trying to look at it from all possible angles. Anything with the name HK in it I wouldn't trust period. " -

Also did anyone notice that in the new ign preview it was mentioned that one of the party members on the first world were "highly suspect" ? Could be Atton, you do find him locked in a jail cell after all. And his profile on the Official site doesn't make him sound the most trust worthy. -

Seems to be snow, most likely where the screens are from. Though I'm still curious why the PC seems to have crashed alone. -
