  1. I'm sure the crew wouldn't mind a bathroom either. Seriously though, that's a great idea. I always wanted a meditation chamber, not to mention actual padawans. I hated you couldn't train your followers after turning them into Jedi.
  2. Yes, we must have the cursed ship! I love my Hawk.
  3. Crazy Tasty!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist. ^_^
  4. Because, a new ship shows some creativity on the part of the game's maker. Plus, if we're a new PC in KOTOR3 then how are we going to end up with the Hawk this time? We were suddenly attacked by Sith, saw the ship, and flew off in it? Or maybe the Exile gives it to us before leaving to find Revan? Come on, I want a new ship. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hmmm... we could always start with a new ship and find the Hawk later, maybe with Revan in it... P.S. Before anyone says it, I know it would be extremely difficult to bring Rev back, if not impossible. But hey, a girl can dream can't she?
  5. I just read your sig and recalled that was the last thing that the G-man says in the first conversation of the game; your explanation is spot on and I whole-heartedly agree with the λ
  6. First of all, there aren't supposed to be any cutscenes. That removes you fromt the action and makes it more like a movie. While this is great for most games, Valve is trying to achieve the effect of immersing you in the action and making you feel like you are Gordon. Second of all, the ambiguous plot is perfect for the point of the game. Gordon isn't on a mission, he isn't on some mystic quest, and he isn't some sort of super hero. He is simply the right man in the wrong place, and this the point Valve is trying to make. The game takes you through these seemingly unconnected events that ultimately leads you to where you need to be at the right second to change an entire world. With this said, I'm sure as the series develops, tiny tidbits spread throughout the games will collect and fall into place, leading into the complex plot with the epic final battle and amazing ending we're all expecting. Valve isn't going to just throw in some cliche plot for every game and tie them together with some sub-standard theme, they're taking their time to develop something truly amazing and immersive. Give them time, making a great game is an art.
  7. I'm sorry, yes I understand that, I meant where did Nihilus come from? I get Revan's pain but... p.s. if I'm not making any sense it's probably just the lack of sleep talking. I'll be semi-normal tommorow... I hope.
  8. Unfortunately, you're right, but I'd still like to see Gordon shove the crowbar down the G-man's throat during some long, cryptic convo. I'm all for dark mystery and such, but I do so hate being manipulated by these way-too-powerful, God-like(supposedly anyway, Kreia ended up being a pushover) sociopaths. Ha, just had a thought. Wouldn't be fun to lock Kreia and the G-man in a room together and see who drove the other crazy first? p.s. I still don't trust Judith, if only because she's too stupid to be trusted. What kind of idiot takes the villian up on a promise? She knew Eli was going to be stubborn, and she had to know Breen wasn't going to like that.
  9. I thought the ending was rather fitting for HL: mysterious, dark, and bizarre(spelling?). While cliffhangers are annoying, they are sometimes appropriate, though I'm dying to find out what happened to Alex and Eli (forget Dr. Whats-Her-Face, to switch sides once is forgivable, but twice? ). I do sincerely hope Gordon kills the G-Man next time though...
  10. Well, since Baley already answered the first question... I don't quite get it, but I love it.
  11. Somewhere in that ungodly long dialouge on Malachor she says something like "You think those machines waging war against the Republic are the Sith? That is not who we are." So unless I'm mistaken, Darth Traya was one of the True Sith.
  12. yeah, I've studying Aimo's art for a while now. I think I'm making a bit of progress, not much. Thanks for the help, I guess I just need practice.
  13. I was getting scared for a while there. Thought maybe you had stopped posting your art. WOW. It is just... amazing. There is no other word. Great job. BTW, does anyone have any hints on drawing eyes? I'm trying to break away from the huge glassy manga eyes for something more serious, much like Aimo's, but am having some trouble. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  14. I don't know if many people will go for another "wound in the Force" but other than that it's a great start. I also like your LS/DS idea. Welcome to the boards!
  15. I haven't gotten him darkside mastery, but I've gotten him pretty close. I didn't realize it until I was talking to him when he had his back turned to me. He turned and faced me all of a sudden and I have to admit I jumped. The gray, crumbling skin somehow makes the bunny teeth seem bigger *shudder*. But why are we talking about the Disciple? Back to Atton!!!
  16. Well first of all, I prefer LSF, but that's just me. It's really about how you want to play. Second, no, the actual romances are cut from the game. However, if you play very close attention, there are a few lines they didn't cut. We Atton fangirls cling to those like sacred texts
  17. I'm beginning to hate that place... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Haha, amen to that.
  18. Well, you see I usually am. But this time I'm going to be a Guardian/Weapon Master so I'm putting all those wisdom points into strength and intelligence.
  19. It had a few flaws what with the lack of time, but I loved the influence system. After playing KotOR 2, JE's characters seemed so one-deminsional
  20. I haven't got it or the message on T3 I heard about. Of course, I usually spend more points on wisdom and leave the intelligence to Bao Dur. I'm starting to see the problem with that though...
  21. drats! you beat me to it! I was going to suggest that. I always thought that the Jedi Order should teach their padawans to understand and cope with their emotions rather than frobid them altogether. Let's face it, wether they're allowed to or not, people are going to fall in love, get angry, etc. They might as well be prepared for it.
  22. Oh yes... leave me in a room with Kreia and a lightsaber and we'll see if she's still complaining about that hand... Brilliant idea, I'm not sure how exactly they would pull it off, but I'm sure they could.
  23. Obviously it should be on next gen consoles so they can do more with the game and take advantage of the new technology. I've seen some gameplay on the 360 and all I can say is, WOW. Both consoles look promising, and by putting the game on more consoles you make it available to a wider variety of gamers. So yeah, they should put it on both the PS3 and the 360 (and of course the PC).
  24. Well, I was afraid to say anything before, but if others like it... Yeah, I sort of liked the ending. I mean, the concept was to be mysterious and keep you guessing until KotOR 3 (which somebody had better make, preferably Obsidian). However, I'm not denying they screwed it up. While I don't mind a good cliffhanger, it was a little too open. Leaving things open for K3 is one thing, but there were a lot of loose ends that likely won't find their way into K3, and thus will be left unknown forever. But given the timeframe Obsidian had to work with, it could have been a lot worse. It fit, and it left room for a sequal. Disappointing, but not deserving of such a negative response.
  25. I just got back from seeing it. I loved it, I really did, but I found the acting at times to be a bit... off. Hayden didn't quite pull off some of the key lines quite right, and I burst out laughing at "Darth Frankenstein" at the end. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O!!!!!!!" Seriously, I know he couldn't move very well yet, what with the new cybernetic limbs and all, but was that really neccesary? In fact, why was he able to move at all? A shockingly quick recovery if you ask me. But that was really my only problem, the movie was amazing. As for the PG13 rating, that was probably less about the temple massacre and more about a disturbing, disfigured Anakin slowly burning to death while screaming in rage and agony. Yeah, that wasn't for the kids. Still, a great movie to end a remarkable ride. Of course, as long as there are fangirls (and fanboys), Star Wars is far from over.
