Because you want us to stop posting about our frustration in other threads. Yet, when we had our OWN thread to rant in, you (again, the collective you) couldn't stay away and had to tell us to shut up and stop whining. So let me ask you: if another "rant about the release date" thread were allowed to be posted, do you HONESTLY believe that no one will come in there and tell us to stop whining or to give it up? Actually, it's not still active. Because of the fact that a bunch of people kept coming in there and saying "stop whining" or "Get over it", it turned into a flame war and was locked. So in theory, YOUR whining (the ones who keep saying to quit whining) got that thread closed and now we have no place to vent because YOU guys couldn't stay out of a thread that had nothing to do with you.

Wrong. The rant thread was SPECIFICALLY made for people to vent about their annoyance so that we wouldn't clutter up other threads. It wasn't a thread for debate on who was right. So in effect, you coming in and telling us we're whining and to stop it is just as off topic as someone coming in to another thread and talking about how LA lied.

you're entitled to that opinion. That's fine...I disagree, but that's OK too. This thread is not an extrension of that...if all of you cant understand that, I'll try to use smaller words. LucasArts never shot down that rumor either. That rumor was circulating for a good 2 or 3 months, and all LucasArts had to do in one of their dozens of interviews is say "that's just a rumor. the release is still scheduled for the original date of feb 2005". Companies ALWAYS shoot down rumors they know to be untrue. But LucasArts, despite being mentioned NUMEROUS times to them that there's a rumor for a December release, said nothing to the contrary. Explain that one away.
