Remember, for a Max Payne actor, he has to be able to mirror that wierd face Max had in the first game Deus Ex 1 would be a nice movie. There has been rumours about this happening (even with Eminem involved, for some reason). An Xcom movie would rule. Mix CSI-scientists with Starship Troopers, add an alien invasion. I'd make do with a series. And maybe good old Half-life.

I'd like to have different hair styles and the choice of beards as well. Since we're already adding cosmetic, nonfunctional, moronic stuff in the game I'd like to have a beard, which grows longer throughout the course of the game. "Oooh, look! Those two pixels right there reflect my character! This is soo cool!" I can only imagine the inventory filled with identically functioning light sabers, but not stackable due to their different hilts. "What kind of dining set defines me as a person?"

I like how it was done in the Fallouts. The consequences of your actions throughout the game are shown and explained. Of course.. A munchkin friend of mine made it show some inconsistency.. In FO2, Gecko, first he repaired the power plant and then blew it up. "Vault city thrived with the aid of their neighbour ghoul city." (not exact wording, mind) "Without the power plant, Vault citys dreams of a new society were effectively destroyed. " and then something about the vault city citizens scattering to the winds. But, that's an extreme case.

As a consular, he was dead easy as well. First use the Force Penetration or whatever its name was, the one that removes his protection, and then do Force Wave til he drops. Then you can run around and zap the jedi batteries, and repeat the first step after that.

I disagree, books 4-6 were the best ones in my opinion. Number 7 was ok. And nr. 8 and 9 were not so great, but still good. CoT is the worst one of the 10, too little Rand and Forsaken, too much Elayne and Perrin. I just thought Rand was a much more interesting character when he was trying not to channel and just relying on his skill. And Perrin was cool for a while, now he's just whiny. I agree about Perrin, not about Rand though, I think it's interesting to see how he changes as a person throughout the books. But you've gotta admit, Mat is ten times cooler in the later books compared to books 1-3. Book 1, Perrin was my favorite Character, then Rand until book 3 or so when Rand goes nuts and starts channelling like mad. Now its Mat. Lan is such a **** now that I'm just plain disappointed. And Robert Jordan's real weakness is that he refuses to kill characters and just keeps introducing more. Maybe some WOT-spoiler here.. I agree fully. Ever since Mat was healed from the dagger, he's been the whole reason I continue to read. While reading the chapters about Elayne and her political dealings in andor all I can do is wonder where the next Mat-chapter is. Perrin started out ok, but after saving Two Rivers, he's been boring. Rand, very interesting character, but... I don't know. His wielding of the one power has made him too strong to actually develop any tension.. (eg. Will he beat these monsters or not? Of course he will.) I find the forsaken (the ones left alive) to be more interesting than most of the main good guys.

I have to say that I didn't have any high expectations of Memento, but it was very good. Got PS:T-vibes out of all the tatoos and amnesias I loved the cutting, how the whole movie goes in 'reverse'.

Well.. A parsec is a length unit (3.26 lightyears IIRC). If Han solo did the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, he cheated, and didn't go around the whole way. As for cool ships, the Mist Hunter (Zuckuss ship) is cool. and the roflcopter

Hahaha This brings back memories.. I remember when we had just gotten cable, and flipped over to see some psycho try to kill a guy in overgrown mustache (Ultimate Warrior vs. Hulk Hogan). Last thing I remember from my wrestling watching days was Lex (the ultimate bad guy) able to bodyslam Yokozuma (and thereby become the ultimate good guy, complete with american flag and everything).. It doesn't appear as though I've missed anything since then...

I do not get the same experience playing Diablo or Sacred as when I'm playing Torment or Fallout, therefore I feel a real need to differentiate between them. Truth is a subjective opinion.

If Diablo 2 is a role playing game, then Doom, Counterstrike and BF42 are RPGs too. At least in those games, practice makes perfect. Like, be a pilot for BF42. After some hours of bombing tanks and dogfighting, you will have 'levelled up' (you will have increased your skill, the game doesn't do it for you). When you start a new game, you wont have to practice that again. In D2 you see an enemy and click it. Much like shooters, only the perspective view is different. In Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory you can even gain levels in engineering, weaponry etc. Is that an RPG? No. An RPG, to me, is more than just stats, skills and experience points.

Yup, I got that too. Talk to Juhani after you've smacked Bastila on the temple roof but before you use the computer to turn off the distortion field and you've been friendly enough with her throughout the game (I turned Carth down, not sure if you must do that). I think this only appears if you're female. When you meet her in the grove, if you're female, she'll say something like "I think I truly loved Quatra" and I'm quite sure you won't get that if you're male. So she does seem to have a lesbian streak, if you feel a need to label feelings.

Well... She was a rather important figure in KOTOR1. It's like DX: IW, Paul Denton is still around, but no one was arguing that they left him to die in the first game.

I'd like to see a planet that an area that was a giant insect hive. And whenever you stopped to ask for directions the natives would wiggle their thoraxes in order to tell you. Hrm.. Guris ship, Stinger, is built by some Surronian hive craftsmen. Not that I know if they're insects, but the hive part insinuates it, at the very least.

Hehehe yeah, it's a good read (our Swedish papers translate the italian headlines). I really do not understand the fuss though. The game Sweden-Denmark was real fighting. I feel that Sweden did their worst match so far, and the whole team is overrated just becuase of the 5-0 against bulgaria. We have a side-defender who lets anything pass, attackers who dont run enough (only Ljungberg, and he's a midfielder), people who suck at ball control, bad passes and everything.. sheesh. We're so going to lose against whoever we meet in the quarters (Holland/Germany/Latvia). A perculiar thing though.. Italy scored in the 94th minute. The referee had shown only 90 +3. I wonder how much cash he got for that. Edit: I've looked around some, and it seems that a lot of italian newspapers blame their own team for the failure to qualify. They also say that Swe-Den was a clean game. Of course, some want an alibi, and place the blame on the swedes and the danes.
