  1. Atton - "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen
  2. It's late here and im very tired... but weren't there numerous male Twi'Lek's through the KOTOR games? There was that dude at the door of the Jedi enclave on Dantooine in KOTOR1 ? Or the Dock manager on Nar Shaddaa or the dancing slave owner in the Citadel Station cantina in KOTOR2? are those even twileks? or am i getting confused - Dan
  3. I think I would prefer my character to be a human - it adds to the immersion factor
  4. OMGWTFBBQ LOLLERSKATES (sorry i had to do it)
  5. Hi I decided to start my second playthrough of KOTOR2 (now that I have actually played and finished KOTOR1) and I am REALLY glad that I am. I am basically going the same way I did on my first playthrough (LS Male), but there is a lot I think I missed out on such as more interaction with Atton, the Handmaiden and Bao-Dur. This time I will be playing as a Jedi Consular/Master, and focusing a lot more on wisdom and persuade. I have just finished the Telos Academy bit, and I found lots there I hadn't seen before - I didn't even know you could spar with the handmaidens! And I was also happy to see you could actually end the Atris dialogue in a amicable way (which makes it even more dissapointing that there wasnt more depth here, seeing as if you go down this path you are welcome back at the Academy). I also encountered the bug that is triggered if you surrender your weapons first thing to the handmaidens... which was wierd, and sort of leads me to my questions: - What is the go with the "dialogue" options you get if you encounter this glitch (so that Atton and Kreia are standing at the entrace instead of in their force cages) and try to speak to Atton? From memory it was like "Cheat Code: Skip to Atris confrontation / Cheat Code: Continue with Kreia Speech" or something similar... were these like developer mode options or something? When I tried the Atris option the conversation options were... different to the usual ones, even though it eventually led to the normal conversation options. I imagine they are not actually new, just that I hadnt seem them before? - Has anyone managed to win every sparring match with the Handmaiden(s) at the Academy? Can someone fill me in on what happens if you do? because I just couldn't get past the 2nd one - I came across a little more information on Kreia/Revan than I had previously discovered... but I still ran out of influence when I pushed for more... does anyone know what module file I need to look in to check out that dialogue? - Is it possible to train Handmaiden as a Jedi without the game assuming your characters romantic interest lies with her? - (and just quickly).. Why is Kreia so against you teaching/becoming involved with the Handmaiden/Visas (from a male view)? Is it primarily because she doesn't want anything to interfere with her hopes/plans for you? Or are we to beleive there is some level of resentment (as far as the training goes.. because we dont want to get into the whole Kreia is a mother thing ) because she is not viewed as a leader/person of importance and because she is somewhat of a failure as a Jedi Instructor? Because she seems kind of submissive to the whole idea of you training them as Jedi and even becoming involved with someone by the end (she even says they are the future of the jedi or somethign to that effect?). Hmm... umm I think that is all I wanted to ask Thanks to everyone in advance, and I hope I am looking forward to exploring the rest of the game in a bit more detail... and I am sure it will raise many more questions for me :D - Dan
  6. I've played both and I definitely prefer the PC version. I -hate- console controllers for these sorts of games with a passion. I understand that not everyone feels that way, but I hate them simply because I am totally and utterly useless with them - I can't do anythign fast enough and I just end up all frustrated To me a computer mouse seems far more efficient and sensible for games where you have to move a cursor around (espcially if moving it faster is beneficial). I onced enjoyed the odd game of NBA Streets or Zelda on a console, but these sorts of games? Give me a PC any day - Dan
  7. Oh yeah, cause neither Mira or the Handmaiden seem like they would be into that :D
  8. purple or green
  9. Awesome updates! one little thing though... Visas' chin in your updated collage looks a bit weird... its like sticking out in a sort of "wicked witch of the west' way - Dan
  10. Boy am I glad you cleared that up I was about to set off for Antarctica looking for Revan... Bastila will be dissapointed... but I can't say I am all that unhappy... because she was fine on the internet, but she sounded kinda old and masculine on the phone - Dan
  11. I just want to make a mention of something really bizarre... I was meeting with some people (read... 3) that responded to my request for a female singer to form a 3 peice band (long story... a metal guitarist wants to expand his horizons ), and one of the girls I met with today seriously reminded me of Bastila from the first game Granted I may have taken a few liberties, but I fib you not, this girl was disturbingly similar... she even had -similar- accent. Needless to say I was a bit distracted... I just couldn't take her seriously She was even a tad stroppy at times... and I was just like "oh my god this is just too weird!"... just say "then I suggest we move on" for me please! lol I don't think I could ever quite get over this if I end up jamming with her... just like that time I had to do a uni project with a guy who looked just like doogie howser... that was just wrong. - Dan
  12. lol yeah, im sure Carth could do with a bit of theatrical charm... perhaps a few lines from Boy from Oz? :D - Dan
  13. I must be one of the only people who didnt really like Sion's voice that much by the looks of things It's not that I disliked it... but sometimes it just gave me the craps, cause the accent was almost unpredictable Just thinking about it and im all "arrh!!"... sometimes I would even find myself focusing more on his accent than what he was saying! Still... it was evil sounding, and it was different... and it didnt turn me off the game or anything silly like that, so I guess thats as much of a compliment it will get from me - Dan
  14. If you think about it... its a little bit disturbing... that someone went to subsantial effort to put work sex into this game But it is still funny so I will get over it :D
  15. HK-47, Visas and Kreia for the same reasons everyone else who liked those voices did That said though, I thought all of the voice acting was great, but those three in particular stood out for me - Dan
  16. The writing reminds me of the horrible horrible porno we had at my mates bachelor party.. hahaha Whoever did that REALLY wanted to see some action! The really wierd thing for me was that until it was like a fair bit into the Bao-Dur one I thought that was a real clip from the game... hahaha - I was freaking out! - Dan
  17. I wonder if the HK factory stuff will make it into a 3rd installment (if there is one).... I never looked into that part of the cut content much... but what effect does it have on the overall story? I would have though that there is much more for the developers to focus on rather than that... Like I said though, I never really looked into what I missed out on... so if there was something important that was meant to happen there by all means just let me know - Dan
  18. It's hard to say for sure, but I suppose I had just assumed (for LS at least) that the character that you had the highest 'favour state' for would be the one that doesn't die. For example if you either were in the "care for" or "love" state for Visas then she would defeat Handmaiden (or turn her back to the light side?). Thats just pure speculation on my part of course because even in a fairly bleak ending, for a LS game it doesn't make much sense to kill off all the characters you preferred during the game lol Still, its all moot in the end becuase since it wasn't included it wont have squat to do with any possible future installment. To the Atton fanclub I am guess thats a good thing too, because at least now you have a pretty good shot at him appearing if there is a 3rd game I can only hope as much for Visas and the other characters as well... Really though... even though there are people claiming there will be no 3rd game... after going through the ending a few times and looking at the stuff they decided not to include it just makes SO much sense to have a 3rd game... its like... so obvious, but so clouded at the same time - Dan
  19. It is stange isn't it. Whether or not they succeeded is a grey area for me, but I think all of that sort of thing was part of OE's attempt to make KOTOR2 a deeper more 3-dimensional game by making giving the characters a more complex and beleivable personality instead of basically handing everything to you. Like I said though, its debatable as to how well that worked out in the final game and everyone will have a slightly different perspective... it was still enjoyable though - Dan
  20. lol random... but funny I usually choose the "middle" class... but after going through KOTOR1 I realise how stupid that was... as being the middle class in KOTOR1 was HORRIBLE... In future I think I will be the Jedi Weapons Master... just makes more sense.
  21. Might not help you understand it much now, but I played through KOTOR2 at max lightside and in a relationship/storyline way I achieved everything that was possible with Visas. I probably didn't have the highest possible influence (i didnt take that much notice), but I included her in the party almost everywhere once she was introduced to the game, and I did all the usual light side stuff. Her character is complex, and even though im not entirely sure how much was intentional by the writers, to some extent the influence isn't all that important. If your LS and you persist with the LS stuff and say the right things at a specific stage later in the game, then you will see. I hear you there! I found that difficult too. Whenever I manage to play through the game next though I am definitely going to focus more on Bao-Dur/Handmaiden/Mira, as I was way to focused on Kreia/Visas/Atton in my first playthrough. - Dan
  22. Yeah, the romance in KOTOR1 was fun, but worth a bit of a laugh more than anything else really I hope that he didn't actually say that, or that you are really paraphrasing to the extreme, but IF he did say those words, then... well there is no need to sling mud seeing as there is no proof whatsover of what he said. - Dan
  23. I really don't know why, but the ending in general reminds me of that bit in Thumb Wars... "I escaped somehow... lets go" lol - Dan
  24. I hate the sims I'm not looking for virtual dating This was my first RPG style game and I just enjoyed the escapism of it all... just forgetting real life and getting into the game for a few hours. Turns out a large part of these games is character relationships, and I thought that was cool when thrown in with the whole Star Wars/Jedi/The Force concept... it was very cool I thought it made the games a bit more interesting and gave them a bit of edge... Still, It's cool that you don't agree. Some people just prefer to get straight to the killing but others look for something a bit more to satisfy their need for entertainment... and because I am a a pretty analytical person, the finer points of the game appeal to me... romance included. Then again some people might be just a tad obsessed, but I cant say I have met one of those people yet... i think :D - Dan
  25. What does HK-47 say? I don't remember this bit I wont be replaying the game until real life settles down a bit, and I am all curious now :D - Dan
