  1. Assuming you have proficiency with the appropriate armor type: Tap the Trash Can icon in the upper right. Tap the card to zoom in. Tap Recharge. If it's not showing you a Recharge option, take a picture so we can try to figure out what's going on.
  2. Traits don't mean much by themselves; they all exist for use with powers and other rules. Some of them have regular applications, but many are just there. For these three: Elite cards can be removed from the game eventually (later than Basics in standard play). Veteran means that the card has a power that keys off of adventure deck numbers. Most of the ones in RotR add the Scenario's adventure deck number to the difficulty of checks. Finesse, like Piercing, 2-Handed, and most of the other Weapon traits, is only used by other powers. Jirelle the Swashbuckler from Skull and Shackles has the Melee skill only for use with Finesse trait cards, for example. None of the RotR characters in the physical game have a Finesse power. If it's any consolation, none of that appears in the physical game's rules either.
  3. The goal is to get you to pay real money for things. Programmers have to eat.
  4. You have plenty of room and text space in the Gallery/Vault, so don't skimp on them. You could overlay icons and/or text to explain what's going on with unlocked cards, much like the quantity overlays. Brainstorming: All unlockable cards have a Source icon that shows graphically how they were acquired. Source icons float over or next to appropriate cards in the Gallery/Vault, much like the quantity overlay. Lower left, below the bottom center, or middle right (at the end of the "Powers" bar) may be appropriate locations. When you zoom in, the overlay moves to below the card (if not there already) and text appears to summarize what the overlay represents. This new little extension to the zoomed-in Gallery/Vault view could also include the quantity count. Cards that come from chests have a chest icon, colored to show rarity. When you zoom in, the chest icon and rarity text are shown under the card. Cards that come from completing the adventures on the highest difficulty have a skull icon. ("Adventure"?) Other sources (Quests?) would have similar icons and text of some kind. Added: I didn't notice the difference between silver cards until it was pointed out here. It's too subtle if you actually care about people noticing. As far as rarity levels go I would have gone with the standard Common/Uncommon/Rare/Ultra Rare, which keeps the terms separate from ones used in the game. ::shrug::
  5. Just so you know: if you see -1 gold it probably means it couldn't talk to the server, however briefly.
  6. Characters are either proficient with Weapons or they're not. There's no individual proficiencies. Over on my Android tablet I'm seeing a longer explanation, though, so that part may be a bug. Get a screenshot if you can.
  7. I'd swear someone mentioned this specific tablet... It's not the version of Android so much as the chipset. The chip (Tegra?) doesn't support an extension used by the game until you get to the Tegra 3 chips. (This is from memory, so I may have the specifics wrong.) It's the same person, and yes, your Android device's chipset must include NEON support. Sadly, Tegra 2s do not.
  8. 1 is a bug. 2 is intended; once you fail a Barrier that stays face-up on top of the deck you can't move it away. For 3, Iesha Foxglove is only defeated if your check has the Magic trait, which (at this point in time) is only doable with Kyra. If anyone else encountered her the best you can do is to evade or succeed at the check so you don't take damage. Hope this helps.
  9. I'd like this option as well. I often flip over the physical cards before shuffling them back in when I get healed.
  10. FWIW: in the physical game you don't normally replay completed scenarios, so you would never have a Role at this point and thus Seelah wouldn't have Crusader powers yet. (Just so folks know.)
  11. On my Transformer Infinity, I had to hold a bit on the character icon before dragging but it was easier than on my phone. (Gotta love fat fingers. Drags in general are laggy on my Infinity, but they're doable. ASUS Transformer Infinity (TF700t), Android 4.3.1 (CyanogenMod 10.2.1)
  12. I'll have to see where I put the keyboard/touchpad dock for my Transformer Infinity. I'm not expecting it to be any different, but it'd be another good testing device.
  13. IIRC, not in the Rise of the Runelords set. Your best bets are not encountering her, Kyra, evading, and characters with high Charisma/Diplomacy + Blessings so they won't take damage. Here's a thread about her on the Paizo forums.
  14. Iesha Foxglove doesn't have a Combat check to defeat; hers are Charisma, Diplomacy, or Divine. Holy Light says "For your Combat check...", so you can't use it here. That Blessing of Shelyn should be pretty useful, though.
  15. I was wondering about this one; in my case I would have liked to have Kyra heal (using her otherwise useless free explore) before she made a close attempt, but I didn't want to risk losing the attempt (modal dialog and all) and I haven't yet engineered the situation again to test.
  16. Aside: that isn't there on Normal; it's +2 to acquire Allies (like the physical card). Heroic has +3 to the difficulty of Barriers.
  17. Every time I launch the game and press Continue it tells me I'm not logged in. I hit Login. The dialog goes away and nothing changes. If I hit Continue again it'll ask the same question, I can hit Login again. Eventually I'll get multiple dialogs telling me it succeeded or failed. Feedback about the login process is scarce and it'd be nice if there was more, assuming your networking library allows. Things like: A more clear indication that you aren't logged in. A green bar labeled "Link Social Gaming Network" (or rarely "PlayFab") isn't very indicative that you aren't. Why not "Not Logged In"? Why green for not being logged in? If it's a button, why not make it look like the other buttons while it's a button? Better feedback about the login process. There's nothing I can see on the title screen that tells me it's trying to log in. Even if they normally automatically log in in the background, I'm used to apps using a modal once you explicitly tell them to log in to something. If you're not going to do that, perhaps change the green bar box to "Logging in to (whatever)" and a different color, (indeterminate) progress bar, or something similar to show it's trying? Prevent overlapping login attempts. Assuming you're not going to show a modal when the user explicitly tells the program to log in, a dialog saying something like "Attempting to log in to (whatever). Start without waiting?" when the user hits the button again might be useful. They're little things, but with the emphasis on being logged in it'd be nice to better support the process. I've been playing on a Nexus 5 with Android 6.0.1 and solid network connections (WiFi or LTE), but network delays apply to all platforms. Hope this helps.
  18. Earlier today, Kyra encountered a Poison Trap while she had a Potion of Ghostly Form in her hand. I was unable to play the Potion to evade and explore again. Location: City Gate Scenario: The Poison Pill Difficulty: Normal System: Nexus 5, Android 6.0.1 Let me know if I missed anything obvious.
  19. Also waiting for a Windows version. I have a Windows convertible tablet that works very well for other board/card game conversions. In the meantime it does work on my Android phone (a Nexus 5), but it's not ideal due to the size.
  20. I was seeing this as well; it popped in and out during the Tutorial. Nexus 5, Android 6.0.1
  21. Cards you give up go back into "the box" and are available to go back into location decks. You only get to keep what fits in your character's deck. It's one of the oddities of the game, but you get used to it.
  22. FWIW: I had a really hard time getting characters into the party. I was trying it out on my phone (which I realize isn't ideal) and getting a drag to start was almost impossible. Either it wouldn't drag at all or the Android status bar would pop up. I finally got it to work by dragging up from the very bottom of a character circle and then going down to the party. My suggestion would be to add a "Add to Party" button, perhaps near the bottom of the (full) character portrait, or let us drag the full character portrait to the party circle. Nexus 5, Android 6.0.1
