  1. Star Wars d20 Vitality system <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What is that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In Star Wars d20, Force Senstive characters use Force powers and the cost of a bit of vitality. Incidently, vitality is also used for hit points so a first level Jedi n00b will get pwned pretty damn quickly if they go crazy with the Force powers - as they'll be taken out of the fight. It's a good system and much more realistic than the bastardization KotOR adopted. It makes having a good constitution character all the more important.
  2. But before that you have to delete your other topic <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Absolutely.
  3. First off, you need to have a clear and definitive alignment, i.e. purish light/purish dark. No fence sitting neutrality stuff here. Secondly, you have to be at least level 15 and have Visas recruited into your party. If you have all these things, then speak with Kreia.
  4. The combat system itself is OK, although I would have prefered that they retain the Star Wars d20 Vitality system instead. The problem is that there is absolutely no game balance whatsoever.
  5. That's just stupid. In fact it is clearly stated at the end of game where Revan went.
  6. Beauty is a light switch away. ^_^
  7. This is true Stargate. Incidently : "
  8. Not only can you delete any of your posts, you can also delete any of your topics, regardless of how many people have posted in it. There should be a 'Moderator options' pull-down menu in the bottom left hand corner, whereupon you can select 'delete topic'.
  9. Best/Worst Jedi/Sith seems to be the current fad apparently.
  10. Ulic was a true Jedi Master in the end, as he became one with the Force. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Redemption in death seems to tell the best stories when it comes to EU <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True. But if only true Jedi Masters vanish in death (such as Obi-Wan, Yoda, Arca & Ulic), how come Qui-Gon never did?
  11. Which may never be seen on the PC or International X-Boxes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If anything you're likely to see more bugs/glitches/instabilities when ported to the PC, due to hardware incompatibilities.
  12. Freedon Nadd also has a very nice short lightsaber. It has a crit range of 18-20 if I remember correctly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But not upgradeable. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just use Master Critical Strike with it, and you'll be fine.
  13. Freedon Nadd also has a very nice short lightsaber. It has a crit range of 18-20 if I remember correctly.
  14. The sad thing is, Atris isn't even the hottest chick on that Jedi Council! That Master Vash sounds and looks sexier.
  15. *Cough*Lucas*cough*Kotor2*Hark!* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sign up as a KotOR II Beta Tester today - it only cost $50! ^_^
  16. you seem to be doing exactly what im doing. assuming. except you assume these issues wont be fixed. and like i said, some people havent had problems so if youve been looking forward to this game for a year, that should be enough to atleast take a chance on it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Interestingly, our preconceived assumptions are a strength, not a vice. After all, pragmatism is the perfect counterbalance to blind faith.
  17. its not much difference than in kotor1. yet everyone seems to overlook that aspect. this guy, im assuming, is talking about the pc and international xbox release, which are said to be worked on to fix many issues plaguing this one, so any advice about how bad the us xbox version is not valid for his inquiry. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You seem to be assuming all the these bugs that have plagued to US XBOX version will magically dissapear. The devs may have said so, but so far they've failed to deliver. I mean, is anyone even working on K2 atm? Akari sure as hell ain't. If anything console ports to the PC are even more buggy due to conflicting hardware configurations.
  18. Which you could probably use twice for the odd 10 or 12 duels you'll fight.
  19. Do people still use that program?! It's like archaic. "
  20. They don't call it torrent for nothing. ^_^
  21. Unless.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Unfortunatly, you can't do that for your hand-to-hand combatants on and .
  22. The bugs and glitches alone make it suck. You can't ignore them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It sticks out like a zit on an otherwise beautiful face.
  23. To pay $50 for a console game this buggy is daylight robbery. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> depends on if he gets the buggy version. i had no bugs to speak of (other than the removed quests) so the rest is just a matter of opinion about story and whatnot. and if hes been looking forward to it this long, why not. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Out of curiosity NeverwinterKnight, are you also aware of the game mechanics errors/blunders/bugs/bastardization which infests this game? Bugged Feats & Force Powers plague this game....and unless you check the combat feedback calculations, you may not even notice. Even the earnest fan should not knowingly waste money on a defective product. Waiting for a couple PC patches seems to be the way to go, unfortunately. <_<
