its not much difference than in kotor1. yet everyone seems to overlook that aspect. this guy, im assuming, is talking about the pc and international xbox release, which are said to be worked on to fix many issues plaguing this one, so any advice about how bad the us xbox version is not valid for his inquiry. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You seem to be assuming all the these bugs that have plagued to US XBOX version will magically dissapear. The devs may have said so, but so far they've failed to deliver. I mean, is anyone even working on K2 atm? Akari sure as hell ain't. If anything console ports to the PC are even more buggy due to conflicting hardware configurations.

Which you could probably use twice for the odd 10 or 12 duels you'll fight.

To pay $50 for a console game this buggy is daylight robbery. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> depends on if he gets the buggy version. i had no bugs to speak of (other than the removed quests) so the rest is just a matter of opinion about story and whatnot. and if hes been looking forward to it this long, why not. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Out of curiosity NeverwinterKnight, are you also aware of the game mechanics errors/blunders/bugs/bastardization which infests this game? Bugged Feats & Force Powers plague this game....and unless you check the combat feedback calculations, you may not even notice. Even the earnest fan should not knowingly waste money on a defective product. Waiting for a couple PC patches seems to be the way to go, unfortunately. <_<

How do you get the feats for free? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As you level up you get Unarmed feats for free. There granted to you. This works with all classes. Make sure you have good strength though, or else you'll just be slapping them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- :cool:

I'm with Tyrell one this one. Despite TSL being a fairly decent game (bugs aside), as a sequel to a game which won 126 Game of the Year awards, it was still a major letdown.

Unless you start with all physical stats at 14 at character creation, you'll find the hand-to hands dueling fights rather irksome on level 'difficult'.

Surely aging itself shouldn't result in such degradation of abilities if Yoda is anything to demonstate.

I agree that the bugs just make the game crappier, although this doesn't affect the crappiness of the story. The story is kinda crap all by it self. So whatever floats your boat (story or technical issues), there's plently of crap for everyone. :">

the story isnt as bad as you make it out to be. dont confuse technical issues and broken quests with a "bad story". im sure they hurt the story a bit, but that doesnt in itself make it a bad story. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I admit the story was ambitious, but the amateurish skills of the writer left us with an incoherent mess. Kind of like one of those last minute papers you need to hand in right before the end of term, where everything works out in your head, but doesn't make it all there on paper. :">
