If KotOR's main theme was redemption, then I'd have to say TSL's main theme is the master-apprentice relationship. Some would argue that TSL's 'theme' is life and the nature of the Force, but this really depends if you're outlook is an inter or intra-character one.

Chris Avellone : [We] had to remove the level cap on some of the Force powers, because what we noticed is that when you allow the player to go above level 20, with the autobalancing, suddenly powers that were once very cool, if they had a ceiling, they weren't as effective at the high levels because there's only a certain amount of damage they could do. So what we decided to do is have the powers try to scale up to character level. However, at the end the amount of damage you'e dishing out is just insane. So yeah, the balancing there wasn't able to keep up with some of the Force powers. We decided if we were going to err on the side of too hard or too easy, it'd be more tolerable to err on the side of ease. Mike Gallo : Yeah, and when you're that high a level, we really want the player to feel like they're badass, especially if they're dark side. We wanted them to be able to go wipe out rooms.

not possible...since if everyone saves from force storm, you still do the same damage as advanced throw lightsabres... 1-6 damage per every 2 levels force storm does 1-6 damage EVERY LEVEL...half damage if they make the save... and some of them will fail the save and be fried... force storm is by far the best force power in the game... and if you get master force drain, lightsiders can cast it as much as darksiders... i thought it was dex damage only too...which makes it ok for softening up a group before wading in with lightsabres, but for my consular watchman, insanity is better for that...sneak attacks... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is due to the bastardization of the rules in K2. In k1 there was a level cap of 10 levels for the 1-6 dmg for force storm, whilst adv. throw lightsaber didn't have one. In K2 they've removed the level cap to further munchinize it.

Intereting concept, but I thought it was just Dex damage. Incidently, for clustered groups of enemies less than 4, advanced throw lightsaber is actually BETTER than force storm.

Ok, this is how it works peeps: You get bonuses for BOTH normal classes AND prestige classes. But, only your latest bonus is actually shown above the head of your character. Don't sweat it though, as it's already factored into your stats. Example: LS Mastery Guardian/Weaponmaster : +3 Strength bonus from Guardian; and +3 Strength bonus from Weapon Master; Therefore Strength stat is rasised by a total of +6. However only the last +3 Str will show up above your character's head. Another Example: LS Mastery Sentinel/Weaponmaster : +3 Constituion bonus from Sentinel; and +3 Strength bonus from Weapon Master; Therefore Con stat is rasised by +3 and Str stat is raised by +3. However only the last +3 Str will show up above your character's head (unless you're just a Sentinel - then it will just be the +3 Con of course). Get it?

The last time I put money on Akari, hooded robes and swoop ugrades were cut. ^_^
