Bruce lee was an actor with awesome knowledge and love of martial arts. As a child he acted in plays and films well before he knew any kung fu. He taught kung fu as a means to an end. His legacy is martial arts in films. In contrast Tyson was an animal who was paid to smack the fu*k out of people and did it well for a while. Anyway Tony Jaa pwns Tyson and Lee.

On balance i guess they would suck but there is humour to be found in Eddo's determined asininity.

Dragon was a very romanticised look back on bruce lee's life. Any resemblence it had with reality is purely coincidental.

The albums didn't bomb (well maybe invincible) they just didnt sell phenomenally like Thriller. While he is past his prime he still has a huge fanbase around the world and the respect of peers.

That film isnt exactly representative of the truth e.g. His back wasn't broken by some dude representing the Frisco branch of the Council of Chinese Stereotypes. Lee broke his back while lifting weights. Finger of Death you missed my point but thats ok.

I concur. I watched it in opening night theatre full of SW geeks Anthony daniels even came out to introduce it and I was like OMG this is awesome. On subsequent viewings this opinon changed - i am thankful for teh abilty to skip chapters. :D I heard that the IMAX version was cut short to fit the reel and they cut out all the crappy romance bits.

I have no doubt that Bruce Lee was an expert martial artist, but remember that he was an actor, whereas Tyson was a professional fighter. In a boxing match i have no doubt that Tyson (in his prime) would beat Lee. However in a mixed martial arts match i would give the win to lee because he knew varying styles of combat with a mixture of striking and grappling moves.
