It'sa not my fualt Internet Geeks are known to be stupid, and take things too literal. Deal with it. If you felt you had to assume I was talking about ALL of Kaanda with its hundreds of thousnads if not millions of stores than you, sir, are on crack. Just like people who posted about their country like England et al. cna't speak for every store in that country. This should be obvious to alle xcept the obivlious. I am in Kanada. It costs in the $40 in the stores I've checked. Hence, in Kanada, it is $40-$50 as far as I'm concerned. Game over.

Whats up with all the short games ?
Volourn replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Computer and Console
"Because there wasn't really much of an Internet to complain on." ha. So true. I hate the internet. It's where the most hateful, cruel, and whininger people group. Yet Internet Geeks always wodner why game companies almost always say they don't neccessary represent the majority. Most people who play games; play them and enjoy or not enjoy them then move on. CAUSE THEY'RE JUST GAMES AND NOT THAT IMPORTANT!!! P.S. I know it's funny coming from me a Proud Internet Geek; but I can be honest about my standing in the patheticness we all wallow in. (w00t) -
NWN has great voice overs. However, to keep on topic, BL's was better overall. Then again, BL has some of the best voice overs in any game.
-
Or C) Plainly just don't give a crap.
-
JE isn't FP, and it has very little in common with SF.
-
You don't even believe in angels so why would that matter?

BL was a fun game. But, it was likely the only game that could challenge TOEE and the ES series as the buggiest games I ever played. The game had a solid story (not best ever), great characters, and good role-playing. It had too much combat THROUGHOUT the game; but I expect that in RPGs. Even games like FO and PST had more combat than most people are willing to admit. That isn't the problem with BL's combat. The problem with BL's combat it was quite frnakly some of the worst combat ever. BL could have been one of the best RPGs ever; but ended up just being another good CRPG like IWD, NWN, the KOTOR series, or most of the overrated 'old school' games.

"If you're claiming that all of Kanada sells a game for a certain price, then you would still be incorrect." Geez.. LOL The main problem here is when I wrote in Kanada people took it as I was literally spekaing for all of Kanada. It should have been obvious I don't know how much a certain game costs in every single town, village, and city in Kanada. Just like others don't know the price of the game in every store in their specific country; but only the stores they've been too. Come on, people, use some logical common sense. Afterall, 'in Kanada' could mean any part of Kanada or the whole thing, and of course I don't pay attention what the prices are like in Alberta. It's not like I shop there. Have fun. :D

LOL The mall. P.S. They're both malls. Actually, the one closer to me which would be Northgate Square. And, I don't need proof that the net is evil. That's one of those undenible facts.
-
"BTW, I didn't see much proof that tripping is all about knocking down fast skating players with an intent to injure either)." Proof is in the pudding. Watch the game. It's very often I say a player stick their stick in between the player who passing them's leg while NOT going for the puck to trip them off (or they'll hook them). That's intent to injur as far as I'm concerned.
-
I don't buy on the 'net. The net is sinful so its pricves don't count. For example, the net version of EB is offering JE for $20 while my local EBs are offering it for around $40 last time I checked.

"Gee, Volourn caught lying. How unusual." No, you didn't. Edmonton means nothing. I didn't check out prices in Edmonton. The only Kanada that matters is the Kanada that directly effects my game purchases. There's a difference between lying (ie. knowinglky hiding the truth) or not knowing every last detail (like me not knowing the price in some lame store in Edmonton). So, no, I did not lie. I just did not care to include Edmonton in my statement to make some check. I'm sure you'll find other palces that sell it for more than $50 and less than $40. Still won't mean I lied. You lied about me lying. Game over. "The funny thing is that according to that website, the only edition that seems to be available is the limited edition" :D

Most is an overstatement. Proof please.

Yeah, you 'accidently' hit someone with your elbow. I might buy that .111% of the time; but most oftne that isn't the case. And, yes, I've played hockey. And, I've seen dirty players. I have *never* thrown an elbow. I have never crosschecked. Afterall, a crosscheck is using your stick to hit the player with force. I have accidently tripped someone when going for the puck so I can see that happening. Tripping to me is an acceptable penalty as it's something that can honetslky happen accidently frequently. If you elbow someone and espicially if you crosscheck someone you are a dirty player. And, yes, I am saying Mark Messier cna be a dirty player. So, you lose with that point. I want clean hockey; not players trying to injure other players than claiming an 'accident' when they purposefully stuck their stick in someone's back or their elbow in someone's face. Hahaha. P.S. I suck at ice hockey 'cause I suck at skating. R00fles!
-
Yes, they are. You trip someoneone going at the speed they're going at on ahrd ice it is an attempt to injure them as far as I'm concerned. Remember, that diving usually takes palces when another player is already hooking and/or grabbing the diver in question. Which is a whole 'nother reason why diving is a poor penalty to call in 99% of cases.

As I said, in the OC, all the 'henchmen' were Hired Experts. In the OC, all you had to do was go to the one inn or whatever, pay them gold (I believe it was 250gP) and they would automatically join you. Actually, now I think about it, I cna't recall if you actually paid the rogue gold when you meet him just before elaving the temple... Hmm.. In both the SOU, and HOTU expansions they were actually D&D henchmen - menaing they chose to adventure with you for whatever reason - to get rich off treasure found, they wanted to be heroes, they felt they owed, past friendship with you (in HOTU this would be Deekin and with the SOU npcs they were all part of your school) -
Then call it a penalty infraction. I don't care for that kind of penalty clal; but I cna live it. But, fining players who dive; but not fining players who also trip, elbow, and crosscheck (not counting severe ones) is just plain silly. I mean at leats when a player dives they aren't trying to physically hurt another player like tripping, elbowing, and crosschecking players are.

"Higher resolution = Higher quality." I doubt the difference is so huge that a non techie like myself will really notice that much difference as to hurt my enjoyment of a game's graphics.
-
Whats the big deal here? Quality is all that matters; not stupid numbers.
-
Nope. Budget games range from $5-$20.
-
It's Sweden. Why should Swedes gave a damn about a Kanadian game? In Kanada, it is still $40-$50.
-
Exactly. If JE was expected to sell 1.5-2 mil copies like some claim (as to be in line with other BIO games), and it sold only 600k (and counting) copies; I seriously doubt it would even be close to having a sequel. Hello, people. Wake up, and smell JE's financial success!

So, basically, you say you'll do soemthing then you won't. That's cowardice.
