What happened to the pc version of Jade Empire?
Volourn replied to ramza's topic in Computer and Console
"but there is a possibility we will consider a PC version in the future. If we do decide to develop a PC version, " "BIO's CEO stated that he intended to release a pc version of the game." His tone and intentions are not what you are implying. "Maybe JE only made enough money to justify one platform release, currently and in the future ..." No doubt that this is a possibility. "Or maybe Bioware is a console developer now?" No doubt this isn't. Console developers don't release updates to 4 year old PC games. "In any case, when Bioware releases a new PC game again they will become relevant to PC gaming again." They alreayd are. Just released another NWN update (that you promptly downloaded), and they're about to announced anew PM for NWN as well which you will promptly pay to play. And, DA is still being worked on. "They said they were making a game called Dragon Age too, haven't heard anything about that in 2 years." Yes, we have. We've heard lots about it in the last 2 years. Don't make stuff up. -
I know you don't. And, that knowledge makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and makes enduring all the hate that much easier. :D In essence, I. LOVE. YOU. :">

That's hilarious considering the hate the Codex has for me is even greater than the hate here!

YAHOO! I'm a simpleton! Good stuff!

" I'm telling you that there is way more to playing good hockey than putting up points. " Eh? This is obvious. Anyways, he did well tonight.. without Cheechoo's help.
-
"guys are benefitting from the puck handling class that Thornton is putting on." I never doubted this; but he's also benefitting from Cheechoo's pure goal scoring ability. And, how is Marleau whose a center on the second line getting help from Thornton's passing. Sure, he gets help from the focus Thornton gets but not his pasisng. I sure wish the retarded other Rangers can do that when Jagr keeps the other team busy. LOL My point is that Thornton isn't doing as well as he did in the regular season.. unless you are stating he didn't do those othee things during the regular season.. and, now, in the play-offs he's not trying to score points? Hmmm...

I'd rather have 'bland' then stupid.

I haven't been a fan of Nintendo for a very long time now... and, this... is one of those reasons why... Revolution was a good, solid name... and, then, the ruin it by taking a wiiiii over the original, better choice.

Regular Season: 125 points, averaged 1.5 points game abouts Play Offs: 1 point in 3 games, average .33PPG Do you think he's not trying to get points, and sitting on his behind playing keeps. Remember, a lot of folks on this board kept bragging about how Thornton was the only reason why cheechoo score as much as he did yet Cheecho has 4 points in 3 games. I'm sure Thornton is doing those things that article mentions (I've seen parts of the Sharks games); but for some reason I have my doubts that somehow he's not trying to get points. Bottom loine is he's not doing as well as the Regular Season just like Jagr isn't. They're both offensive players. A large part of their job is to get points. btw, Jagr's played keepaway with the Devils... It hasn't helped because unlike Thornton, Jagr's teammates suck. I'm sure Thornton has helped his team get a 2-1 series lead; but he's nowhere near the dominating force he wa sin the last 25 games of the regular season. he was getting points then at will. That is all. P.S. For all you anti Jagr guys out there, most of the NHL players believe Jagr should win MVP yet most of the 'non professionals here disagree. I guess the professioanls are wrong. P.P.S. As I said above, the article itself shared isn't lying; but I see the article as a way for some to try to exuse Thornton's lack of production. He's not a 4th line winger. He's on the power play a lot. A large part of his job is points production. He's simply not doing that. That's a fact. P.P.P.S. As for not knowing hockey, I should ahve gone with my first instincts and kept with my thoughts the Devils would beat the Rangers. Hockey sense wise, I knew they'd likely outclass them; but silliness overwrought it all. How many other people would even dare go against their own team?

"Now, take BG2 (oh, and Volo, Irenicus is most definitely the protagonist of BG2, as he defines all the action in the game save for side-quests; the protagonist does not have to be the hero, which is why Gromnir's old MacBeth argument is so very apt in describing the plot of BG2): Could that game had proceeded had the PC not been the Bhaalspawn? Again, the answer is "no". The entire reason that Irenicus sought out the PC was due to his Bhaal essence, which was part of his nature." No. Irenicus is not the BG2 protagonist. Everything in BG2 is about the BG2. Irenicus, as the main antagonist, is a big part of it; but he isn't it. Irenicus would be irrelevant if his story didn't have soemthing to do with the PC. BG2 is the continuation of the PC story - his learning of his past - hence the dream sequences - hence the Hell tests - the story is also told by the view of the PC hence the PC being the protagonist. The story is about the PC. This is undisputable. Unless you ar egonna argue BG1's protagonist is Sarevok or FO's story is the Master's, etc., etc. The fact that Irenicus has a good motivation, and a background story means just that... he's, comapred to most main villains, is deep (comparitvely speaking).

Thread topics change with the flow all the time - silly ones like this are definitely no exception. LOL -

Someone didn't look at the post you quoted from the post of yours that I quoted. Play the game properly next time. Read it very slowly next time. -

"Like thats even possible." Sure it is. The Revan can be level 20, and a 'n00b' Exile is Level 1 = Revan wins . Game over. -
Yup. And, NWN2's stated story fits in the JE camp - though not the same degree; but much closer to that than to NWN OC where you are just some adventurer.

"Jade Empire was limited in character creation and appearance customization compared to Neverwinter Nights. Also Jade Empire is very limited compared to Knights of the Old Republic, Knights of the Old Republic 2, Oblivion and assumingly so Neverwinter Nights 2." Ahh... but you said BOTH role-playing and character creation; not just one. It CRUSHES them role-playing wise... except possibly NWN2, of course. As for JE on xbox 360; consideirng that many have detailed their experiences with it on the 360 at the JE forums; I'd wager to state that it DOES indeed work. Here's one example: http://jade.bioware.com/forums/viewtopic.h...462785&forum=79

"Meaning conversation options and character creation options will be severely limited." JE proves otherwise. Best role-playing in any BIO game including and espicially the BG series. And, better role-playing than 99.9% of so called RPGs overall.

"No, not really. I am more interested if they had more Dragon Age material." But, but, but Dragon Age doesn't exist. As for the topic, I found the interview boring. *yawn* Maybe aspiring artists will like it though so . The concepts for ME like most art ranges from bad to good so meh. Some stuff I hope makes it in game, and others that I hope they throw away quick.

O MGODZ! You all need help. Except Llyr. "You know, everyone says that I've changed in some way" I laugh when people say that to me. I lost count on how many people who I didn't know had respect for me in the first place said they lost all respect for me. R00fles! P.S. My advice is to make fun of those people and/or ignore them. -

"I doubt that. I think you are the biggest Fanboy of Bioware, not I, but then again that is like the kettle telling the pot that its black." Finally. You admit you are a BIO fanboy. Kewl beaners. -

Volourn replied to Llyranor's topic in Computer and Console
Keep digging yourself a bigger hole. You are the biggest BIO fanboy I have ever seen - even bigger than me. Or even bigger than those who actually believe BIO is perfect. Why? 'cause no matter how much you whine about how evil they are you continue to buy their games, and then promtply enjoy them by playing their games multiple times even as you say they suck, downloading patches for a game you supposedly have no intention to play again, actually enjoying an Action RPG, buying a console, attempting to rejoin their forums, etc., etc. Good fun. -
YAY! THE RANGERS ARE GONNA WIN.. FOR THE TEAM TO GIVE UP THE QUICKEST IN A SERIES! HAHAHAHAH!!!
