Superman Returns - Ok movie. Superman actor was ok, the new 'Lois' while a fan actor simply doesn't come off as Lois sadly. Loved the new version of Lex Luthor. I think the movie coulda gone a little darker; but meh. POTC 2 - Very good movie. Not quite as reaching the heights of 1; but still very good. I LOVED the ending and the returnee. Totally sweet! The tongue in cheek humour was over done at times, and what exactly the point of having those two dofusses return and somehow become members on the 'good side'. That's just crap.

While it is no doubt true that soaps do have their share of absolutely ridiculous over the top storys like devil possession, aliens, people coming back from dead repeatedly, and so on... It should also be pointed out that they also have more serious, more dramatic, and more 'real' storylines like drunk driving, aids (or other illnesses/hopsital focused stuff like heart transplants), adoptions, and the like. These bring the more dramatic side of the shows out. And, are the parts, I usually prefer. Plus, mobs stuff that is way better than the joke show known as Sopranos. GH did mobster before the Sopranos, and it did/does it better (mostly). Game over, SOPRANOS, game over.

Or, how idiot writers and johnny come latelys are having an orgasm over NO just because of some tradgedy that occured almost two yearse ago that hbas NOTHING to do with footbnall or the fact that NO is simply a pretty darn good team this year. Or whether or not we'll see Super Rex or Play For The Other Team Rex.

LOL I don't smoke or drink (much) either; but I know what happens when people smoke /drink as well. It doesn't take a genius to observe behaviour change as in drinking too much or smoking marijuana. Smoking does not do that. Though, trying quitting can. I even comapred it with marijuana for that very reason. In fact, the fact that alcohol is currently legal is one of the reasons why I'm leaning towards legallizng marijuana currently. All that means is that cigars cna be thrown in with marijuana /alchohol in my personal 'oo' category. For the record, I don't smoke (had exact 1 puff of a cigerrate when I was around 10-11), don't do harder drugs, no cigars for me, and I rarely drink (used to be about a a couple a beer a year), now it's a beer a month because I'm stuck working at a bar/restaurant. LOL And, they give us freebies so *shrug* why not. I've never been drunk either but i've seen people do stupid things. I've also seen people act really stupid on drugs grudgingly. To comapre cigarettes to them is silly outside the fact they both have inherent health risks. Meta: Interesting....

I ahte when people comapre drugs like marijuana to smking cigerattes. Poeple say it has the same harmful effect as smoking. That's bull. Smoking doens't cloud your mind. People who smoke don't lose control of their actions as people who smoke marijuana and espicially other heavier drugs do. That's a pretty big difference between the two. :crazy: As for legalizing it, I'd have to say, why not? Alcohol basically has the same mind wackoing effects and it's legal so.... What is good for the goose; is good for the gander. However, I think incessant taxing on all of these things is just the governmental way of being greedy and attacking those who at least currently are in the minority. That's why the price of cigerrates keep getting even more ridiculous. Complete, and utter crap.

I understood you just fine. Perhaps, I don't feel you part of the group I was referring to as I was not replying to you with that quote. I'm talking about the people who still won't give credit to NE; but say things like 'SD gave the game away', 'SD is better but their screw ups gace NE the game'. Ppeople seem to forget that NE also made mistakes in that game. Heck, Brady threw 3 interceptions himself so its' not like Mr. Playoffs played perfectly.

Bottom line is NE beat SD. That is all that matters here. Making excuses is cool, and all (as a fan of aloser team, I know the urge to do so); but bottom line is play off victory is the key. No play off victory = choking loser.

Grossman played pretty well too!!! Predictions for next week 1. Indy over NE - Its hard to go against NE because they are just tooo sweet in the playoffs; but every dog has its day, and I think Manning will finally get back at his arch rivals. This could go either way though, and I won't be shocked that NE wins. 2. CHI over NO - NO is good; but their defense is too shaky. Grossman will have a good game here, and the Bears D while they will give up some points to the always good Brees will do enough to win the game.

All that, and the fact remains that McNabb is a selfish player who is only worried about personal stats, and glory. Philly has proven time, and time again that they are - by far - a better team when spreading out the offense between passing and rushing. McNabb is scum. If you need tips on how smart football is played pay attention to intelligent football analysts. ie. Not you, and me. HAHAHAHAH!!!

And, they'll probably be fighting a .500 record again. Everything else I pretty much agree with. P.S. McNabb is more explosive, and is arguably better QB than Garcia; but Garcia makes the *team* better, imo.

SD's defense is not good enough to stop Manning. However, their running is gonna crush the Colts' D so SD will likely win (if they get by NE which they probably well; but not a given). Ravens are a good team... who had a bad day, offensively.
