oh no! ....the video's actually kind of funny...but not as charming as the first.

I spent 6.5 minutes watching to see if it had any relevance to Kotor/SW at all... Moving to WoT. Edit: The pictures in the video are pretty....

Being a copy-protection n00blet, why is it asking you to turn off your firewall? Is that a part of the new cp tech, that they send off little packets of info to verify something? Do you have to turn the firewall off-off, or can you work around it another way, with port settings or whatever? Does such only affect software firewalls or hardware ones as well?

The Enterprise was the one that I didn't really see much of. By the time it started, the station that plays it here didn't come in well. Tried to watch it a couple times and it did look kinda interesting...different at least...but watching it through staticy snow became too troublesome.

What the....looks about twice or 2.5 times as 'tall' as the one on mine. One day they'll make them so large that pc cases will have to lay flat again.

That one I'm not sure about. I know there's a glitch or something that causes her to do that - lose all influence/not speak to you - but not sure what triggers it or if it's fixable w/out using a mod/editor.

According to the walkthrough, supposedly if you answer in a certain way she eventually gives you influence, the power Battle Precognition, which adds your WIS bonus to your DEF. Edit: the infamous 'robe' glitch also occurs - at least pre-patch. Dunno about after.

I have no idea who the Jem Ha'dar are...were they Kira's people? I found her storyline pretty dull whenever they devoted episodes to it. I admit I didn't watch the last few seasons tho. By then I'd pretty much given up on the ST universe as a whole. And yeah, the old style, or any style, can get old...I guess for me it's really that for whatever reasons, the character groups/chemistry in all the series after TNG just didn't 'click' with me at all.

I could never get into DS9. I tried. I liked one very early episode where an alien was prey for hunters and he took pride in that, and I liked Odo, but that was about it. No space exploration, never liked the Ferrengi, the station was dull scenery.

No....it was Star Trek. I think this was around the time my cousin-in-law and I went to a convention, because P. Stewart was the speaker and she was madly in love with him...the only one I ever attended... Edit...I have the above show on tape somewhere...recorded off TV the day they aired it, not bought....omg I was a ST nut once.

I think Darque had a wise point. I feel it's very important to create a place that fosters a positive and constructive atmosphere, not only for long-timers and new members, but for those non-members who may be reading the forum and considering whether or not it's a community they'd wish to join. This isn't a 'private' forum and imo it should strive to potentially be a place for everyone, even those of relatively thin-skin.

Are you saying single-wielding sucks or that a double-saber does more damage than two singles? If the latter, it didn't seem that way to me, but I never really number-crunched this game.

If my memory serves, the first time I also stated I was married and pixie still paired me with some people. I view these threads as mostly for getting to know other forumers a bit more, anyway.

Heh, too many decisions in games always makes my head hurt. But it does make a game feel a bit more immersive sometimes.
