Screw it, rebuying 7 Days and Borderlands 2 bundle for PS4. Just need something else for those homebody days. Started to download BL2 and holy moly, 7-9 hours for 28GB that should take less than 2 hours (not sure, maybe 1.5 hours?). Proving that Comcast throttles the heck out of that connection at prime time (it's 7pm here). Either that or PSN is just sooooper clogged. Even browsing the Store was a lagfest. Either way, that's why I won't be subscribing/buying any PS-Now games. I'd like to try out the split screen of BL2 with hubby too, assuming it works. We wouldn't like the squished views but eh, maybe it'll be ok/it's something.

On hindsight, and more seriously, what I really need is a barber type chair. If you look at, say, DXRacers "gaming chair" site, every one of their chairs is supposedly ergonomically designed for quite tall people. 5' 5" seems their minimum from reading forum posts, and that's not even listed on their actual guide page. https://www.dxracer.com/us/en-us/pages/choosedxracer/ Since I'm 4' 10.5" tall (or approx. 1.48/1.49?) meters for you metric people)...last thing I want is "ergonomic designs" jutting me in all the wrong places. Barber chair, on the other hand, simpler, with a built in foot rest so my feet don't dangle uselessly/painfully off the floor at common US desk height. :/ But I'm not sure many have adjustable armrests, which is another sizing problem with most chairs, for me. They might also be a little too wide/deep. And expensive. So annoying when all you want is a decent farking desk/gaming chair that doesn't make your back/neck/arthritic knees ache in pain just from regular use of an hour or three per day. Console gaming and staying on the bed/couch is looking better and better all the time. If only there were more games I like on console.

So if I bought a really comfy, enfolding recliner** and put 43" and 40" TV's on the sides of my wide desk, angled, with the 27" pc monitor in the middle, and used the 43" 4k tv for gaming/movies and the other two for other PC tasks...cordless KB/mouse included ofc...would that be too much? No? Ok, Imma gonna work on that then. Just need the chair.* ---------- *Hubby's reaction to this idea: "I'll never see you again." ---------- **Like this thing:

Is it wrong that I feel like buying 7 days to die on ps4 when I already have it on pc? Building with zombies off as a break between ffxv sessions sounds good. Yet I hesitate to give Fun pimps more money when I feel like the game will always be "early access."

So if I purchase a game via main psn account on my Pro, and the PS4-Slim still has all the info on it from before I transferred it all to the new unit, can I download the game on the Slim so hubby can play it there, under one of the other created users (eg, user 2) I made a while back, without it creating some kind of account/multiple box confusion? If that makes sense.

Beg, Deadeye, that's a good boy. Who knew this was a pet training simulator. It happens. -
And I know the electric violin lady's version was posted, but for that song I tend to prefer the vocal ones: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq73h6XZQGA (yeah I like Penatonix...they have a lot of great modern harmonizing song versions)

Or if you prefer traditional: edit: can't spell

My favorite winter morning wear. Sometimes my favorite afternoon and evening wear, too. Man not included.

Most of the time yes, they have at least some choices. But not 100% of the time. ...after having watched two K-dramas about early-onset Alzheimers (Remember: War of the Son, Memory), now every time I forget my carkeys or something, I feel a bit like I should run to the doctor and have that brain scan done to see if my brain has/is turning into the "telltale" visible pattern. They were good melodrama's tho.

^ Hubby and I stopped buying "gifts" for each other in our early 20's. We just buy ourselves any fun stuff on our own, instead. Within reasonable means, of course. eg, no mega-luxury car, yacht or leer-jet purchasing is allowed without at least a notification of intent.

I finished making a pretty darn good lance/spear and now I just like to poke things. -

Rented "The Hit man's Bodyguard." Expected stupid silly action film and pretty much that's it. Action is action, comedy comes from the odd-couple forced-into-situation buddy formula. Starts off ok, predictable but watchable. Reynolds and Jackson serviceable but neither escapes the main typecasting they're known for. That said, it's still playing as hubby is next to me watching and I'm here posting. Make of that as you will. -
Silverado is one of my fave films. It's just fun. Others for me: Open Range Pale Rider The Good, The Bad, The Weird (S. Korea) Lonesome Dove tv series High Noon I suppose not technically a true Western but still feels like one: Outlaw Josey Wales

I was wondering where Pooky was. *gets on the phone* Seriously, I want.

I would like to once again whinge re: getting old + vision. --Glasses on: 27" monitor = average for things to be in ok focus is 2.5-3 feet, but fine detail work or small text I have to look over tops of glasses/remove glasses and smash my face against the monitor (1 foot away or closer). --Contact lenses: 27" monitor = I have to wear reading glasses 98% of the time, from about 1.5-2 feet away. Reading glass are always on a chain on my neck now. Gets worse every 6 months, I swear. I guess it's time for bifocals, but I loathe bifocals. And it makes me really unsure about results when I'm trying to edit photos/pictures and stuff. Which makes me sad. Edit: not to mention *taking* pictures.

FFXV's HDR setting via the Pro and cheap 4k TV looks terrible. Colors and contrast/whites completely blow out to horrid, super saturated and cheap photo filter effect, ugh. Dunno if it's the TV or just a terrible implementation or maybe both. Yeah, I might be able to fiddle with all the TV settings to "fix it" somewhat but why, when I can just turn it off.... Otherwise, once I adjusted stuff to my personal liking, the boy band looks great. I'm ready for that Ignis DLC now.

Just in case the billboard signs and the theme-related sidequest weren't enough to convince you of CupNoodles PPL, they gave you a hat to wear in-game, as well. Complete with readable text. Subtle, they ain't. -
Y'know, when you try to watch things like Netflix on a 4k (when the TV isn't a 60" I suppose), subtitles get really small .... (edit) oops I mean Viki, not Netflix. Netflix is ok.

BestBuy has a 43" LG "4k" TV on sale for around $330. Sure it won't be a high quality TV but since I bought the Pro, I'm suuuuuper tempted, but then that truly would mean FFXV is the most expensive game ever. But...the boy band...in 4k... Must...resist...

Oh...lol. That would make more sense probably. I wonder why I read it the other way. Brainssssss... -
Unless of course they are the reason you are in that condition! Also true. Maybe some sort of panic button and a roommate is better Life Alert to the rescue.

Maybe it was just me, but I could never get the buildings to look right. The walls and floors sometimes didn't match up, especially if the floor wasn't sitting on perfectly level ground. My structures looked like someone playing The Sims after finishing an entire bottle of whiskey. Yeah, the wall/floors were hard to get right a lot of the time. Fallout 4 was a game where I loved building and I loved that dog (I may be a cat person but dangit, goggles-wearing dog was adorable), but I never even got 1/3 through the plot...then I dropped it.

I went back to Cat Quest today. I've reached the point where some of the small dungeons are rather difficult to get through, since there are no potions so if your health gets too short too early you're just gonna take a catnap in the dirt. Thus I grind a while to level up and try to get gold to purchase spell upgrades, and that healing spell's upgrades are pricey, relatively speaking. There's a dodge mechanic but I typically suck at timing those in games so my kitty isn't very nimble. Still a cute game for easy time passing, even if the 1000's of feline jokes start to wear thin.
