I don't mind a camping/rest system as a heal overnight method or various food/stimpacks/poison nullfiers whatever for lots of different in-combat try-not-to-die healing item options, that's what I would consider normal. But I don't want the game to be an actual survival game where the more often I swing a stick the hungrier I become and I have to think about hunger meters, constantly eating 12 charred pig-on-a-sticks and 15 coconuts a day. How are chrs. not super fat in most "survival" games. It's fine to have more of a survival aspect be a separate "hard mode" toggable option tho, like in FO:NV. I might even play around with such on a 2nd playthru. I just mean I don't want it to be the default system of the game.

Best anime evah! Crunchyroll, episode every week or so I think. Episode format so far has been human PoV first half (more or less, varies a bit) than it shows cat's PoV for some of the same human scenes. It's not just comedic/about the cat per se, it's a nice slice of life with cat and human slowly affecting each others lives. I love it.

My new case may only be 20ish pounds instead of 30ish, but I'm old and tiny and it's huge/awkward for me to carry, how am I going to lug the filled thing all the way outside to dust it out every four months or so? Where's my servant boy? ...do you guys just blow the dust into the room? My allergies ... maybe I can mostly cover it in a giant plastic bag while blowing it out.

It's not the only thing I base game purchases on. But it doesn't hurt to watch someone play the first hour or two. I usually do that to judge whether I think the combat system/UI is something I'd like (or at least not dislike). I can't tell that based on review descriptions at all, outside of "1st person/3rd, turnbased or not" basics. I'll be paying full price for the game, I'm just not sure I'll be in a hurry to play it on day 1 and I don't buy until I'm going to play. Depends what I'm doing at the time.

Sitting by the door waiting for a lot of packages. Not just PC stuff, a lot of other little stuff. Sadly the actual CPU was sold out so I have to wait a week or so for that. Is it weird that I'm not very excited yet? I think it's because I know I'm going to toss fits re: the whole install and tweak tons of software (and find new software that will work with Win10, in some cases) for days before it'll finally feel like I have a useful new toy. So tiresome. But when it's finally all done, hopefully I'll get excited then!

Between those two pokeman trailers, I no longer have to see the movie. I have all the cute stuff right there in the trailers! ...Ryan Reynold's voice works for me, at least in terms of the films. If only a stuffed doll of pikachu actually looked like the cgi. I'd so buy one to sit on top of my PC.

I stopped watching. I may pick it up again later but my inability to focus this week did me in. It is very cliche in many ways, I was also enjoying the visuals and for me I liked some of the chrs. I know someone else who hated every chr. tho, lol. Hubby has continued to watch it - I don't think he loves it that much but he just calls it "different than the usual" - ofc he's not someone who watches a ton of series tv or superhero or the like so he's not as overly familiar with tropes. He wouldn't have seen even a single Marvel movie or TWD or tons of other stuff, if I wasn't around, in other words.

This one won't be a pre-order for me. It's likely I'll watch someone stream it a bit first and then buy it a few days or a week or two later - it mostly depends largely on when I think I'm actually going to truly play it. I dunno tho. I haven't been following the development outside of watching a few gameplay/interview vids, so I'm not super-excited/pumped. I'm only aware that this is a game I'm going to buy (at full price) and try at some point.

It's interesting, anyway. One does wonder how things like Epic and any others etc may affect GoG.

If it's not initially on Steam I'll either buy the console version (not my preference in this case tho) or I will wait until it is. Or both (console while waiting for Steam access), because I'm impatient. No I have nothing personal/angry against Epic/MS store. Just don't feel like it. Maybe when there's actually 20, 30+ games I want from other clients I'll use other clients. Maybe. But not until then.

I spent a lot of money. And it wasn't on a wedding. ...I'm hoping I can install Steam on the new rig and then just copy a game steamapp folder from the old rig + save games and Steam will figure it out when I try to click play or verify files or something. I won't be installing most of my current Steam games on the new rig but I do not want to download FFXV's 160GB again or try to remember what mods I had on FO:NV etc. >.>

Yeah. Waiting as well. Have you heard of the game Portal Knights? Decent enough game with a lot of the same mechanics you seem to enjoy about DQB. Yeah, I've seen that one. I like some of the "cute" things in it like costumes, animals/pets and the like. But it seemed like it had more focus on combat than I'd want in such a game. And I think the Creative Mode gives you access to everything right away so you can immediately just build, vs. having to gather stuff to make stuff first. Maybe I'm wrong?

^ For the SSD, the write speeds are supposed to be a bit faster. This isn't a huge deal I suppose, just a note. And I like longevity, as I mentioned before. It's quite important to me actually. Hubby's work client has been using them/he's experienced with them and thus he really likes them, although he doesn't think this type of SSD is going to really catch on/become a common consumer mainstay. The cooler - it's one of the 8 that the case manufacturer says will fit in that case, and hubby wants to put it in a specific spot so it has to fit there, plus he knows I'm not an overclocker. Not sure why he picked it over the other Corsair you mention tho, I left that up to him since I know jack.

Last Bioware game I remember playing was BG2. I bought Neverwinter but at the time the game crashed a lot on my rig and I never got around to going back to it. I think I bought Mass E. 1 quite a long time after it was already a hit, but never installed it. Yes I'm terrible. Anthem seems like another game where an attempt is made to mash different gameplay styles/trends together hoping to attract a wider audience, but the mashing doesn't work well and the gameplay is mediocore, hence its attraction ends up being even less than if they had stuck to one focus. Maybe Bioware will be ok, maybe not, maybe EA will let them try again, maybe not. Either way it won't change the way the big-money *industry* does business overall, imo. Not when it's so much based on shareholders and unrealistic ballooning of annual/quarterly profit expectations because every "AAA" publisher wants to be the next Fortnite or whatever the current giant-win title is.

Now I'm watching some Korean youngin' play Dragon Quest Builders *2* - I can occasionally understand some words he says but I can't read any of the game stuff, lol - it looks so much improved, I want it. But apparently the US has to wait until summer or something. Sigh.

So am I. We didn't/don't bundle because our 'net is separated via Comcast Business. Bundled packages don't give hubby the 'net features/abilities he requires to do work from home. So our comcastTV was separate/no bundle. Comcast Business is becoming expensive for what we're getting, now, too, so at some point we're likely to switch to ATT/fiber. Just have to get around to it. We're procrastinators. As to news - yeah, youtube or I just check headlines/articles on the internet from local network or cnn or whatever websites. I don't need talking-heads.

Watched some streamers play Anthem today. Some of the graphics are fantastic and the chr. face animations are actually a fair bit above what I usually see in games, but overall gameplay looked ... boring. Not bad, exactly, just boring. And there's an early quest where there were a lot of ... energy circles? high in the air that the player kept flying into/through (reason I don't know, wasn't paying close attention), which for some reason called to mind Superman64 and those green rings. I'm not saying it looked or played anything like Sup64, mind, just ... well, I laughed. Also watched someone playing the Resident Evil HD remaster, which was much more engaging. DQ:Builders freeplay continues to be very fun in that casual fashion. I keep getting new town npc's tho, I wasn't expecting that in freeplay. Haven't taken them into combat yet but they make good foundy and kitchen slaves. Get to work and make me more mushrooms on a stick, stone windows and bathtubs!

Getting married in a park with jeans or casual clothing, 10 min. ceremony, and a BBQ and frisbees all for maybe $300-400 (I forget, renting the park for the afternoon was the highest cost), ftw. Oh, and $6 silver rings bought at a jewelry fair. Some people really like all that huge fancy stuff tho. Whatever works for you as they say.

We have Netflix, Amazon-Prime (rarely used, altho we rent movies from Amazon occasionally), Hulu+ (I hate ads) are the main ones. I have personal-interest subs to Crunchyroll (anime) and Viki (Korean/Asian drama), so about $55ish/month maybe? Our Comcast cableTV "HD" package with HBO/Showtime/Starz was around $170-$180 a month without renting a single movie. On top of having the streaming stuff. Once I lost interest in 1st run Supernatural and Walking Dead (and pay-station originals don't interest me either) I pretty much had no reason to keep cableTV out side of watching HGTV while eating lunch. It took another couple years before hubby came to the same conclusion. We don't care about/aren't going to sub to every network streaming thingie tho. What we have is enough - we don't watch all that much TV most of the time anyway. Occasional binges.

@IndiraLightfoot - half formed golem still my favorite. The tiny calf-cow runs just fine on my ps4 version. I mean it looks a little funny because its 4 legs move at comical keystone kop speed but it looks/feels smooth. I wonder if that's a 30ish fps vs. pc-higher fps thing.
