Yet women in Obama's own circles were saying the white house is an unequal place for women - hazardous and with less salary compared to men. Obama must be a woman hater as well - he was painted as one by the women who are currently advising him now. It's a disgrace for anyone to make that an issue between the two candidates. Get over the trivial bull****.. anyone who falls for that stuff is so gullible it's a parody at this point. It's like people who are scared of Obama because he's a "socialist" --- ooooh scarrrry...(even tho Bush Jr and Romney both are "socialists" too when applied to the same standard).

That just illustrates the facade of American politics as a whole, from the candidates to the voters. After all is said and done, even though Obama/Romney are different philosophically, their administrations wouldn't be much different from one another, and thus candidates/voters end up nitpicking on words said here or there and try to make it a win for one guy, when the other isn't all that different. This is more or less a one party system with people choosing the candidate with the personality that appeals to them. It's simply outrageous that the development of another party has virtually everything going against them to get themselves any real foothold in the race - they aren't even allowed to enter the debates because of the ruling that you need 15% of polling numbers, which is 100% influenced by the media in the first place.

The whole Libyan thing has been handled horribly in all facets, even in the debate when the moderator stepped in, she essentially said that they're both right, but Obama took the play as if he were right. Bizarre and confusing.

I've always held disdain for coupon whores no matter the product. Usually the "honest" consumer suffers in some way because of it.

I've had NWN2 for nearly two years and I still haven't completed Act 1. I just played it a bit because of this thread and my progression is just before the Old Owl Well part. I hope it "gets good" at this point because I don't think I've ever played a more uninspiring game before. This crap is an embarrassment to gaming. I'd never let anyone catch me playing it because they'd probably think bad things.

Wonder if that's what everyone else is doing or if they'd rather be lost in the game instead of posting about it. From all of the pre-release talk, there seems to be nearly no one reporting back on how the game is.

Yeah - from reading the descriptions, BL2 sounded exactly like BL1. I wouldn't play that game for free.. but if you love BL1, you must love BL2 because it sounds like the same thing. People were saying that the side quests are disappointment in BL2? Well they were pretty horrible in the original also..

Just started up Just Cause 2 after having it for a while but never really playing it. It seems like a decent game to screw around with, I just wish the vehicle camera was better - somewhat like driving in SR3, it just gives me a headache. Luckily you can use your hook to speed up running on foot, which I'll probably end up doing a fair amount.

Finished ME3 with and without the Extended Cut. It definetly needed the more fleshed out ending. The last mission was very hit and miss - parts of it was just crappy design, probably because they were rushed and the part where they throw out all of the enemies in 4 cycles in the same area just reeks of this. After that's all over with, the following scenes and then all of the added stuff from the patch makes it a better experience.

Fixed via redownload.

Still have a game ending bug at the start of an SR3 mission after starting a new game to test if it recurs. I guess I need to maybe redownload the game, or f around with driver installations..

Lol yeah - let's just put some huge vents next to secret and guarded info so a human can easily reach said info. I didn't really enjoy most of that game to be honest, just the ending was about the only thing done well for me.

Yeah, I stopped reading reviews after that Gamespot debacle, however long ago that was. It's a shame, because their old team of reviewers were a good bunch.

Dishonered looks nice, like a mix of several different games. I just hope there's more to the bulk of the game other than assassinating rambling people, albeit in stylish ways.

Do you even understand basic economics? In order for the economy to grow, money has to be spent. The private sector is obviously reluctant to do so, so we have to at least do some with the governments. It's hilarious that you call the Clintons "Warmongering" given that during the Clinton administration there was only an armed intervention within the former Yugoslav Republics that led to the first war crimes trial of a had of state, and a 4 day airstrike campaign against Iraq for it's failure to follow the UN procedures that it agreed to. Iraq was a dog and pony show completely by the executive branch, with disregard to the War Powers Act. Understand, the Republicans blocked efforts to fix the economy, and instead spent a day "Reaffirming that "In God We Trust" is the official motto of the United States" because they think Obama will turn us godless. Money doesn't have to be spent, it has to be invested.. You don't grow an economy by blindly throwing money into systems and hoping for the best. Hillary is certainly a warmongerer. What do you think she's been doing this whole time in the middle east? She's really no different than a right winger, but go ahead and pretend she is just because she plays ball on your team..

Most of the stuff from Obamacare hasn't actually been enacted yet. Like I said, it can be argued that the uncertainty isn't very favorable to businesses when it comes to hiring. But if you want to think otherwise, that's your prerogative but I wouldn't totally dismiss what I said either.

There's a couple of decent moments in ME3, but as a whole, I'm not a fan of how the game is structured. It's just odd - do a main quest, get thrown into several conversations in a row afterwards, then bombarded with all mini fetch quests all at once from the Citadel. You do that twice and then play a few more main missions and the game is over. The characters just absolutely sucked in this one as well, and Kai Leng? Everything about him and surrounding him was just cheap. The cover system is good, and that's pretty much where the game is centered, so the combat is decent. It's just that everything else isn't that great.

There's growth but it's slow, and it could be argued that the focus on Healthcare certainly hurt the recovery. I said it from day one that it's just bad management to do such a thing during bad economic times - simply illogical, it stunts real growth and everyone who passed that bill knew it would do so, they just wanted to be a part of "history". I'm voting for neither of these guys, even though I think Romney would be better for the economy(though that's certainly no sure bet), but his foreign policy would be awful and he'll be mostly controlled on that front much like Obama is.
-
Yeah that's pretty comical that an Aussie is going to speak for the US economy based off of skewed numbers just because the side that he wants to win is releasing said numbers. I'm no Romney supporter either, I'm just kind of sick of outsiders being more biased for one candidate than many Americans are..
-
Agreed. When you have the warmongering Hillary Clinton as your Sec of State, I don't see how you can claim to be much different than most Republicans on foreign policy. Let's not forget that she fully supported Bush's Iraq war before it became politically trendy to do otherwise, and former President Mr Clinton supported it as well. People want to try to break it down and grasp at straws, but the fact remains, the Obama Admin encourages turmoil and destabilization in the middle east, and is hated more or less the same.

I have it on steam. Do I lose the game if I uninstall it? Anyone know?

Got to love that if the ME3 servers are down that you can't even play the game in single player mode because the game has to check your DL content everytime you launch the game to make sure you haven't stolen it. I try to load my saves but get a prompt like "cannot load save, content: From Ashes is missing". Another stupid decision by Bioware/EA...honestly I'm glad nerds went into rage over ME3. Bioware makes so many stupid decisions that all of the negativity is pretty well earned.

How did you like MP3? I might get that after I finish a few other games first..
-
Yes, I saved a game before that mission. Thanks for the heads up though.
-
Yeah, I just wanted to see the ending that made everyone so mad, and then I'll reload a save and apply the extended cut patch to see the difference. I just wasn't willing to spend days in multiplayer to build up the EMS because that's one hideous design choice.
