  1. You're right, I was about to write that in my previous post, that even though they have high spendings, it doesn't mean the average GI is that good, they just have a lot more than anyone else, and a huge amount of expensive weaponry for them. My view is this, more education like you say, way more research into body armour since the US seems to lack severely in this area, and a little less on high tech guns that will probably jam at the first sight of sand anyway. If the army had better armour for their troops and longer education (I mean some of the guys down there are weekend warriors ffs), perhaps they'd not have to lower their standards on intake that much. Edit: Hi Kane, will look forward to see ya again in C&C III
  2. But high quality weaponry, equipment and years of experience/training will make it all the harder for some random arab to blow off one of our guys heads. Why I'm certain the AK-47 is a good weapon, durable and reliable, but that doesn't help much when the average user can't shoot for ****. If our armies was to use it, perhaps modify it somewhat, it would be a kick ass weapon for desert warfare I'm sure... I guess they won't do it since the AK series, like a lot of Russian stuff, are associated with decades of enemies. Denmark has the C-7, btw Alan. I used it myself. Edit: I don't see Denmark on that list.
  3. The one thing I got from that was the Duke Nukem Forever someday, which was funny, since WTF is it gonna show? I wanna throw cash at strippers and then blow them away... just like when I was a kid.
  4. Well lets see, we have Brotherhood of Nod + GDI + Tiberium = **** YEAH! I'MSOGONNABUYIT!
  5. Did you mean to say Surrepphallus?
  6. Just look at his avatar ffs, he's all over the place. Now look at mine, those eyes, lost in a sea of thoughts. (like when the **** am I gonna get this mask off)
  7. It sorta is the predecessor of Freelancer I think, with a cast of actors, the character which you play was performed by Clive Owen, if you know that dude. You travel between planets, blow stuff up, trade, buy bigger ships with bigger guns, buy container ships to fill with your goods. But if you try to fill em with female sex slaves, guns, drugs and what not the police will come after ya! Anyhoo, Wiki said this: "Privateer 2: The Darkening (1996) As Lev Arris, a man with amnesia, the player must take the life of a privateer in the Tri-System region of space, finding out about his past along the way. Although The Darkening features no obvious connection with the "mainstream" Wing Commander series, there are several links that bind it to the larger universe. The game features references to a "Confederation", and one of the easter egg derelicts is a Talon light fighter. Perhaps anticipating a future title connecting The Darkening with Wing Commander, the game's developers set the plot sufficiently far in the "future", in the year 2790. The game features live-action video directed by Erin Roberts. The cast included Clive Owen, John Hurt, Christopher Walken, Brian Blessed, David Warner and J
  8. Did you play Privateer 2: The Darkening? Man that game rocked.
  9. Battlefield 2 OMG
  10. Yep, nice lightning bolt thingies striking back and forth. Looks kinda scary really.
  11. Is this Hades dreaming?
  12. Kane FTW! By the way, how can NOD possibly have "far less scruples", I mean, could they possibly care less about civilians and the GDI than they already do? I used to flame every village in the old C&C.
  13. Grats kid. *sound of 23 year old bones cracking* Damn I feel old.
  14. Grats kumchump. Give us pics.
  15. I wanna buy myself a SUV before teh world ends. This one, to be precise:
  16. Oh right, I forgot about those. They finally left Starcraft then, huh? "Is macroing still hip?" I didn't know you could even do that.
  17. That's probably not a bad idea, they'll probably release some boxed set. Me, I already have it and gamed online with a few buds, but damn the online community are lame... I mean it's quite frightening just how immature and lame these people can be, and I thought I'd seen it all in other game genres.
  18. I can't help it, I like the music on the website. I usually listen to Rammstein and radom techno/trance stuff ffs! lol Anyway, looks interesting, I haven't touched this genre since some game called Lighthouse? I think, not because I didn't enjoy the genre.
  19. Well... okay.
  20. Think so, just looked at Relic forums and it seems the discussion has been about who the second race would be, but THQ ruled out Tyranids since the DoW engine wouldn't do them justice.
  21. lol good one, ahh... oh you were serious?
  22. That would be Tau and Necrons, no? I read a page that said it was Tau anyway, no Tyranids.
  23. Seriously, is this a society where you think everyone looking slightly suspecious is out to kill somebody? And one more thing, who the **** would dress up as a ninja if he had criminal intentions... in broad daylight no less!?!?!?!?!
  24. Generals was entertaining enough, not a C&C game, but still. I was amused that my terrorist workers asked if they could get some shoes... on sheer principal alone I usually didn't do the shoe upgrade. ^_^
