Oh, and whatever you do, never touch the drawing surface of your paper with your bare hands. The very edge of the paper is okay, but never the drawing surface itself. The reason being is your skin is loaded with oil. That oil will cause your pencil to slightly smear on the papers surface. If you need to wipe drawing debris from your drawing surface use a tissue, a soft drafting brush, or a simple house painting paint brush. Also, use another piece of paper on top of your drawing, to rest your hand or arm on, so you don't touch your drawing while drawing. Keep the faith and good luck You're doing good Tsel

The PCvsXbox thread revisted.
Tsel replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Why not just call it "The PC vs Xbox thread horribly warped from its original context, then revisited" Curse my poor choice of title. I will once again finish this discussion. 1) The best option is to own a PC AND an XBox. Like me. Why? Because there are fantastic games on Xbox you can't get on PC, and my PC is a powerhouse. 2) KOTOR 2 has some serious technical problems, so I'm told. Therefore, if you own an XBox AND A PC (Like me), AND KOTOR 2 PC AND KOTOR 2 XBOX. Please let me know which you had least trouble with, because I don't want to buy the game twice, unlike KOTOR 1. PC Owners who don't own an Xbox CAN'T COMMENT. Xbox owners whp don't own a PC CAN'T COMMENT. That was what my thread was about. Since yours is on a wholly different topic, I say that the best answer to your PC vs. Xbox question is to own both. If you can't afford that, and need a workplace at home, getting a cheap PC and an Xbox is better than just getting a Mother PC, if you like multiplayer parties, Halo and Jade Empire, and saving money. In terms of raw brute power, there is no competition, and I'm not going to insult anyones intelligence by saying which. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I do not own a console system; however, my nephew does own one, I have played KoTOR on his console, and I have played KoTOR on my PC. I prefer the PC version, but in the end it all comes down to different strokes for different folks. Tsel -

For those who do own the PC version of KoTORII, the controls are not a factor of complaint, if one would simple look at the cardboard display that comes with the game that shows you all of the controls. Tsel -
You do have a point about not wanting to pay to upgrade a PC just to be able to play the newer games, but someone like me whose occupation requires my PC to be top notch for the times, I never really have the problems others here speak of. I do know that although ATI pumps out awesome graphics cards, most PC games are based OpenGL therefore making NVIDIA a better choice if you want fewer headaches. Yes, all hardware has some problem or another; I

As Tanuvein implies here, I never had a problem with it neither. It makes perfect sense to me. Why couldn't the two co-existing? It seems perfectly feasible. Tsel

When I first created a character in TSL and I saw that Jesus option, I started laughing my head off. The first thing that came to mind was someone in the Art Dept. at Obsidian created it as a joke and then pushed it through for a reaction. Everyone else laughed further up the chain and pushed it through. Somehow I think it was an internal prank to begin with. (chuckle) No offense to Jesus. Tsel :D

These cooky foreigners and their regionalisation
Tsel replied to Kaftan Barlast's topic in Computer and Console
Added comment about American English. The American English varies from State to State. Every State in America has their own way of using words, how they are phrased, and how the words are pronounced. Even some Americans cannot understand what in the world a fellow American is saying. :D Tsel -
I loved the Infinity Engine and the games created using it, but like many others here that have already stated, the engine is way, way, way dead. I believe the suggestion to keep using it is more out of nostalgia than a practical sense. Tsel

Ah, I think the real question is how many games can you name that have 'as many' bugs as Kotor 2? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mistmare! Thank God a friend of mine bought it and not me. KoTORII is 100% less buggy than that game. Tsel <_< -
Get'em both. I like both games a whole lot. They are both great. Tsel

Such a naive response. If you were a start-up company, you'd have no choice but to let Lucasarts push you around, since you're dealing with their IP. Only the well established companies don't have to worry about being pushed around. If you tried to stick up to your publisher, the publisher would just pull the plug on your project. Whoops, no more game for you. Guess that wasn't such a good idea after all. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Amen - And How...well said. Tsel -

Do You Think Obsidian Has Done A Good Job On K2?

Maybe, but you must also take into account that the State of California poses a lot of business problems that don -
Unfortunately since we are not in their board room meetings and we do not know what the business executives decide we most likely will not know why some Publishers push game companies to finish a product before its full completion. Also, it saddens me that the word choices you used is seemingly bigot / prejudiced towards western companies. Business knows no boundaries and the issues you raise can be found on any continent. Tsel
