  1. The million dollar question that the conspiracy theorists don't seem to bother with. They (the evil shadow governement) go to all the trouble to fly airplanes into our own buildings and then blow them up from the inside. Does it even cross people's minds about the time and trouble it takes to rig a building to explode? Do you think everyone was going about their day, watching the shadow agents planting the bombs, wiring and rigging them? I've got a new theory. Planes didn't actually fly into the buildings. It was all some fancy CGI effects. The explosions and fire were actually the bombs the ninja shadow goverment guys snuck in on the weekend while no one was around. We've all been duped to stir up anger towards radical islam (which doesn't actually exist) so we can invade countries for oil and help stimulate the economy. Which has been working out awesome so far!
  2. I haven't played KoTOR I or II in a long long time, in a galaxy far away. So, I'm very much looking forward to reinstalling both games and giving them a playthrough (or three) when either restoration project is finished. I've always been patient for games taking long periods of time when actual work was being done on them. Heck I've even been patient for Duke Nukem Forever. Its only stuff like the premium module MoW being delayed for DRM that irks me to no end.
  3. Didn't this game get mediocre reviews? I was hoping for the next Dark Forces/Jedi Knight type game but it sounded like a flop. Don't think two new levels are going to turn this into a purchase for me.
  4. That doesn't explain the false nipples on the batsuit though.
  5. Watchmen. Haven't read the comic/graphic novel but I really enjoyed this movie.
  6. The brain is truly amazing. Sometimes it seems like there is nothing new to learn or discover, but every day something new. It may sound cheesy, but it just makes me very very happy that this girl with only half a brain sounds like she is living and will continue to live a normal life. My first thought reading the title was someone drooling in a wheel chair unable to control their own bodily functions. Not a lively girl rollerskating and chatting it up with the rest of the kids.
  7. How in the world was it good? The only good part of it was that it was fairly stable (for me anyway, it didn't crash) and the actual game was so good it made up for the horrible port job. Its kind of funny, but Leon S. Kennedy seems to be a jynx for ports. The first RE ported to PC was good (Chris & Jill), the second had serious unfixable save issues (Leon & Claire), the third was again a good stable port (Jill), 4 was a terrible port (Leon) & now it looks like 5 will be a good port. That or maybe Capcom doesn't like even numbers.
  8. Get informed... . Coming from a conspiracy theorist that gets news from people/sites with agendas who manipulate bits of information to make them sound suspicious of an overall conspiracy and then claims its the mainstream media doing so. I DON'T have a problem with people wanting more information about what happened. Its the idiots who take something and don't give the whole story and then scream "CONSPIRACY"! The owner of Tower 7 took out an insurance policy against terrorism before 9-11. OOOO... HE WAS IN ON IT! Rabid conspiracy theorists forget to mention that the insurance policy is against a whole host of other events & accidents and he would not have been allowed to purchase the building otherwise. It just goes on and on and on. Its a horrible tragedy and people are shocked a handful of scum could do such damage. So their addled brains turned to mush over years of X-Files, UFO stories etc. turn to the evil government. The irony is that if there was a conspiracy, it will be lost in all the BS lies of the conspiracy theorists who have cried wolf a million tiems on flimsy evidence that has been refuted left and right.
  9. That and they cost a small fortune. Though from what I read in the article the new glasses are different and don't cause the headaches.
  10. Why the hell are they doing a live action film when their cgi is pretty much the tops!? I think Blizzard should just stop making games and just make CGI movies.
  11. Oh brother, conspiracy theorists. The same gov. that handled Katrina, the war in Iraq etc. also masterminded the most dasterdly attack on U.S. soil and no one can come up with any solid proof. I'd find it all amusing if the real terrorists weren't laughing in their caves as we turn on ourselves and some ahole kid with no time on his hands wanders the street telling widows and orphans their own gov did this to them.
  12. I saw that earlier today. Can you imagine if you paid 700 dollars for a 3DO back in the day and that game was your first purchase for another 50 bucks (Or whatever 3DO games used to cost)? Have to admit the woman in that 'game' isn't bad looking at all. You'd have to negotiate the price ALL night though!
  13. Amazing! Not only do we use 10% of our brains, apparently we only need 10% of them to function.
  14. Hmm, I'm pretty sure the DX10 version is intended for 3D glasses. For instance, the fibers in the shirt stand out more, likely to give an effect with the 3d glasses. I'm sure I read it somewhere. Either way, DX10 does look a TAD better whether a person uses the glasses or not.
  15. From what I understand the DX10 mode is ONLY for those using the 3d glasses.
  16. I enjoyed World at War significantly more than CoD Modern Warfare. In no small part due to the removal of the ****ing helicopters from the game and the addition of coop mode.
  17. I'm kind of surprised how high BioShock has been rating among critics. Don't get me wrong, its a good game. I just don't think it is the 'God's gift to gaming' that it is made out to be. http://www.mobygames.com/game/xbox360/bioshock/mobyrank
  18. The upgradeable hotrod looks so sweet in BL. This will probably be a day 1 purchase for me. I'm kind of jealous of those who grew up on Lucasarts adventure games. I was into the Sierra games like Space Quest & Kings Quest, which were also awesome, but I missed out a bit. Also didn't play Psychonauts until quite a bit after its release, and even then it was only because you can get it free on GameTap. Really loved the humor and art style and its the best adventure platformer I've ever played.
  19. New 20 minute Tim Schafer walkthrough on http://www.gametrailers.com/video/develope...al-legend/52958 or ign. Most shocking thing about this game is that Ozzy Ozbourne is... coherent?!? How did they manage to knock him out of his constant drug induced stupor?
  20. As hard as I tried I just didn't like it as much. All the Fallout's have their silliness, but its all about the tone of it. I just didn't like Fallout 2's.
  21. a video link. I had to find a different one but, the acceleration is massively high and it rams any car in it's way. Its no Batmobile if you can't shoot a hook out to do 90 degree turns at 100 mph.
  22. It amazes me that some people who seem to hate F3 with a passion even bother to pay attention to the DLC. Maybe even play the DLC... If it bothers you so much just ignore it. Like I do with Fallout 2.
  23. While its true that Point Lookout doesn't have the 'nuclear wasteland' feel, it definitely has a wasteland feel. I wouldn't be surprised if Beth got the idea from Fountain of Dreams http://www.mobygames.com/game/fountain-of-dreams, the unofficial sequel to Wasteland. Likewise the cancelled sequel to Fallout Tactics was to involve lots of swamp land. Either way, as far as the DLC goes I've had the most fun with Point Lookout.
  24. It just blows my mind that they were actually lazy enough not to change the ****ing button prompts to whatever keyboard keys you were using. Isn't that one of the easiest things to do in a port of a game? Getting the damned thing to work on PC sounds like the hard part. Nearly ruined the game for me the first time I had to run from a huge boulder and I died about 15 times because I couldn't figure out which ****ing button to push. Not only that, but instead of using the gamecube in game cinematics, they used the PS low quality movie cutscenes AND they didn't include mouse support. People rag on EA all the time, but it takes a special case of ahole publisher to do that to such a beloved game's port. RE4 was so awesome that I was able to overlook those horrible flaws though.
  25. RE in name only or not, RE5 in coop is some of the most fun I've had in a long time.
