kgambit is probably not a happy man right now. But I sure am. Great win, great performance by Price. He wasn't dominating by any means but he got outs when it was needed and going the whole 9 saved an overused pen. On to Cleveland!

Today or in general? Today because I'm killing time waiting for the football games to start. In general because of KOTOR II and as bunch of folks I knew on the BIS & Bioware boards were here. And many still are! I've always found that amazing. Internet forums are pretty transient places.

My last real fist fight was in the military. In the Philippines no less. Fights in the bars around Olongapo & Subic City were common. Marines would fight the Navy, the Aussie Navy, French Foreign Legion, Philippine defense forces, US Air force from Clark, you name it. And if no one else was around we fought each other. There was a running joke that is you didn't get at least one NJP in the PI you weren't really there!

I've been working on the house the last few days. I'm extending the porch around the house. I'm doing all the work myself and it is slow going.

You should jump on this is you can pick it up without extending yourself. Real estate is seldom a bad bet. sometimes it is in the short term but seldom in the long term. The danger is you may have to site on it for a time.

Smoked turkey tenderloin brushed with home made BBQ sauce & steamed summer squash & baked potatoes. And pecan pie for later. Obviously GF is coming over, I wouldn't have made all that just for me.

Yesterday at court was kind of similar, was in a bigger city and the prosecutor scored high on the ice maiden/probably moonlighting as a highly paid dominatrix scale. Especially since I said my bit in the first 15 minutes and had to just sit there for the remaining few hours. Niiiice. And I'm guessing you were so turned on you couldn't sit still!

I had some ground turkey so I mixed it with an egg, onion powder and chopped fresh jalapenos and made turkey burgers on the grill. It was pretty good. For dessert I'm having a cup of French Roast coffee while I sit on the porch enjoying the first cool weather of the year and type out a message to you folks.

I bought a gun I've been wanting for a long time two weeks ago. It's a Kel Tech PMR 30 .22 Mag. It's just a really fun range gun. Plus I love how stable it is even when rapid firing.

Rays have been red hot the past 11 games. And they've just blown a close game open against the Yanks. Now if the White Sox could just get it together and hand Cleveland a loss.

Been very busy with work lately. Both my regular work and a new business venture I've bought into. I'm only a minority partner in that one. One of many. I'm getting the feeling I've bet on a losing horse though. Plus personal life has become, interesting to say the least. Women complicate things don't they?

GB I thought Tommy was an Alsatian. I didn't realize he was a Rhodesian Ridgeback. My dad has had Ridgebacks for years. They are amazing dogs and brilliant watchdogs. But they can be sneaky and steal food, for example we once left a whole roast chicken out by the stove and came back to find....it had vanished Bones & all... don't leave any evidence behind!

They Rays win and lose on pitching. They can't score enough runs to make up for a lousy outing. And oh man was Moore lousy tonight. 6-2 in the 5th right now. Not looking good for us now but there are still 4 more innings to go.

Stephen King is releasing a sequel to The Shining. It has Danny Torrence later on in life coping with alcoholism and dealing with his psychic abilities with great difficulty. might be worth a look.
