  1. Don't get me wrong, I love that chant and I love that there are two ogres, not just one. But they are totally overpowered. I can beat any enemy or group of enemies in the game, as long as Kana is alive. I came into the same situation many times: The whole group is dead, just Kana is alive, but he has reached the 5th phase of his chanting. He casts two ogres, the enemies, as dumb as they are, attack the ogres. Doesn't matter how strong the enemies are: In the moment when the second ogre dies, Kana has reached 5th chanting phase again and so on. I don't want to exploit that thing, but what shall I do? Everyone is dead and Kana can't do anything else. Shall I reload, just because I think it is unfair to use the ogres? In any other fight I avoid using Urdel and Gurdel as much as possible. I really want to use that chant and I want it to be two ogres, but they should either be weaker, disappear more quickly or have any other drawback. Or maybe it should be a higher level chant. But I just reached twin elms and finfished the whole Endless path, are there a lot of harder enemies in the game?
  2. Definitely yes. For m it does not matter if it is a sequel or not, but I want to access the regions from PoE1. Best thing would be, that visiting old regions is really integrated in the new game (I played BG Trilogy more than once and I always wanted to revisit Sword Coast from within BG2, maybe even finish some quests, that I didn't finish). But Something should have changed. New sidequests and new enemies. The story of PoE2 plays in a different region, but you have to return once or twice and of course there is still your castle (Does not have to be a sequel, it could be a new story with the same guy). Obsidian can recycle old maps and I get the feeling of coming home.
  3. Same thing here. I patched to 2.1.1.4 and it is still there. I even think, it might be possible, that the bug CAME with the patch, but I'm not shure. Never noticed it before.
  4. I think i read somewhere, that they already said, they wouldn't. "Maybe in PoE 2". Isn't it possible to mod them at the moment? I saw a mod that changed the way Arcane Veil works, so I think, it should be possible.
  5. I agree with many of your points. The magic system isn't that fun. It is not because of no prebuffing. PoE does not work that way, I think. It's because the spells are not that interesting. I for example want to play an illusionist. I liked the way, Illusionists worked in Baldurs Gate. They where not perfect, but fun enough. In PoE, Mirror Image is totally useless. It is a deflection spell like every other. I expected something even more interesting than Mirror Image in BG. What I got was a spell that works like the one in Bg, but is even more boring, takes too much time to cast and is too weak to be useful. And why the hell is the caster always in the middle? All enemies know, that the caster is always in the middle. Now, I go too far. But why is everyone complaining and noone modding? For Baldurs Gate there where mods with hundreds of additional and very interesting spells. For PoE so far there are only a few graphical mods and a lot of cheating bull****. Of course the enemies have to use the new spells too.
  6. Sometimes it is even worse. The ogres don't go back to their spots. They just stand still with their backs to the group. And somtimes they immediately go into the other direction, if I do so (Not, if the fog of war touches them, like other creatures do). So the group has enough time to finish their turns and shoot again. I don't want to exploit their behaviour. I just want to run away to keep some distance to them (If I have no tank in my group, they would be too strong to directly attack them). I think my strategy is fair, because in real life, if I had to kill a slow and strong creature, I would do the same thing. But they should have a real chance to catch me or do something against my strategy. If they behave that stupid, they could as well stand still and wait for me to kill them. Somehow they have to react in an intelligent way. The Ogre Druids try to catch me with Tanglefoot or something. But mostly they get stuck themselves. Maybe they could do a little sprint and try to engage one of my group members. But if they do so, they are a little bit exhausted. Something like that would be pretty cool. Different monster could have different behaviours for that situation. PS: I think being able to split groups is a good thing. But it is too easy because of their stupid behaviour.
  7. I cleaned my fan and deactivated aa. I don't know what was the main reason, but temperatur is now at about 60-80 degree. Not optimal, but at least I can play.
  8. I overlooked the option. But I had no problem switching languages. It is VERY much better now.
  9. If I already downloaded the german version, is it still possible to change it to english. I don't want to play the game that way. It's not just the errors, the whole translation is cheesy.

  11. Mine too. Intel Core i7-2720QM 2.20 Ghz 6,00 GB RAM Win7 64Bit I've reached temperatures about 99°.
