  1. Glad to read that Dashus is STILL committed to getting this Mod completed.... http://forums.team-gizka.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5400
  2. Try unplugging monitor 2 from your card when the game starts....then after you're up & running the game completely on monitor 1.....plug monitor 2 back in.
  3. Try cleaning your disc (Clean lint free cloth with some disc cleaner) & your cd/dvd drive (Compressed Air)......You may just have some dust that is just kicking the laser off enough to not read the initialization file correctly. If your disc is scratched you're probably going to have to get a new one.
  4. You're probably going to have to uninstall the Brianna exile Mod. Since that mod deals with aspects of the Handmaiden, & the area you are now crashing is at her intro to the game, it definitely sounds as though you are having conflicts. You might want to try contacting the creator of the mod to see if they can help you along a little further with it as well.
  5. Update your graphics drivers. The frequency range error you are seeing could also mean that your monitors refresh rate is set to high. Go into your Display Properties. (Right click on your desktop & select Properties.) On the Settings Tab you should see "Advanced"...click that & then pick the "Monitor" tab. Place a check mark in the box for Hiding refresh rates that are not supported...Then in the drop down window select one of the available frequencies.
  6. Yeah...talk to the one near the locked door. He has to call into Loopak Slusk in order to get the door to open.
  7. Are you getting the dialogue from Kreia just prior to going off to the Sith temple regarding choosing the 3 members of your party to take that mission?
  8. Check your inventory list...make sure you are not just looking at "New" items. Since you just viewed them not long ago, nothing would be showing. Look at the "All" items area.
  9. Ask & ye shall receive! *Copied & pasted from www.1up.com* "Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was a game with a few problems. Even though we're almost two full years removed from its release, there's a community so enamored by the game that they're going back and fixing those problems themselves. Team Gizka is trying to add back as many of the cut scenes and content that never made it into the final version of the game. This data was not implemented in the retail version of the game, but discovered on the disc by curious gamers at a later point in time. The "restoration team" will be putting the following into KOTOR II: the HK droid factory; more ways to murder Visas; more people wanting to stop your quest; multiple endings; and a way to end up being the last thing all of your party members see before they end up in the great beyond. While I'm sure fans of the game will love this, why should the gamers have to pick up the torch for the developers? Shouldn't they be willing to ship a complete product and not have the players be working for them?"
  10. Disciple does know the truth about Kreia....but she throws a mind trick on him & causes him to forget about it.
  11. The game doesn't always respond well to on-board graphics & sound cards. You might want to try disabling the movies to see if that helps.
  12. I use 81.98 with SLI enabled....No troubles for me....And he/she doesn't mention if they have a dual core machine.
  13. I'd verify that your monitor can handle that 75Hz frequency. (As just a guess)
  14. You could have a bad or mismatched stick of Ram. Or possibly just a memory leak. Sometimes games keep on grabbing more and more memory without releasing or reusing previously used memory....You might try looking at your game's executable in the Processes tab of Windows Task Manager while you are playing to see if its Mem Usage keeps on growing. You could also look in the Performance tab of WTM to see if CPU Usage and/or PF Usage keep growing while you are playing the game. These pesty memory errors sure can create havoc on anyones pc...Thru past experiences, I have found a quick fix for them by doing the following... 1. Have your Windows Xp CD in your Cd Drive and go to: (Assuming of course you are using Windows XP) http://www.updatexp.com/scannow-sfc.html 2. The main reason for using this utility is when you suspect there may be a problem with a Windows XP system file. Perhaps you get a dialog box appear informing you of a problem with a .dll file, or your program will just not load! It is therefore worth checking to see if there are any corrupt system files using scannow sfc. To do this simply go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in: sfc /scannow This command will immediately initiate the Windows File Protection service to scan all protected files and verify their integrity, replacing any files with which it finds a problem. This will fix all memory errors and hopefully, help you out. ***Copied from Tech Spot dot coms forums*** Hope some of this helps! GMan2
  15. Disable your movies & see if that helps.
  16. Well of course there are a lot of empty rooms...The planets were blown to bits by the Sith! That's like walking into New Orleans right now & saying, "Don't you find it odd that there are a lot of empty houses?"
  17. You might want to try uninstalling your display drivers again. Then run a free program called Driver Cleaner. It removes all old traces of any display drivers that may be hiding within your registry. It works for ATI & NVidia graphics cards. Once you reboot proceed to installing your graphics drivers again. Don't use the Windows "Found New Hardware" wizard though...just find your new downloaded graphics card driver file & use that.
  18. Pull out a gun, heavy steel rod, or some other heavy object capable of doing extensive damage to your monitor....shoot, smash, throw...said object directly towards the screen watching as millions of tiny particles of glass go spewing all over the place. Report a totally weird, really mind blowing, freak accident that involved you monitor to your significant other, parents, grand parents....whomever fits the bill the best...explaining that you are in dire need of a new LCD monitor for Christmas. :D
  19. Go into the Administrator account & see if it will install. Not your account with Admin priveleges, but the Administrator account for the computer.
  20. Have you searched the Disc 1 for the game to see if that mss32.dll file is in fact missing or not?
  21. Unless someone else knows the response you're looking for regarding editing your save game files. You would probably be better off starting over again at the Red Eclipse sequence. The cut scene you're missing after GOTO's yacht is the one where Mira or Hanharr would talk to the exile regarding the destruction of GOTO's yacht. But since your editing of your saved games probably made the game unsure of which character to create, that *may* be why your game is fouling up at that point.
  22. Drop back to an earlier ATI driver for your video card.
  23. Have you gone back to that save & started from there again? Or maybe an Auto-Save point *MAY* be just prior to Atton & the twins...Even though I doubt that. But it sounds like you are either going to have to try the last Auto-Save, or your game same for Atton. If neither of those 2 fix it then it sure sounds as though you are going back to the beginning.
  24. Delete that "Save Game" & begin again from a prior "Save Game" where you didn't mess with any of the values. -Or go back to earlier saves & try putting those earlier values in your most recent save. You might want to apply them to your "Auto Save" file as well (for that character).
  25. Go back to an earlier game save...did you save any since you are just beginning? Or simply just start over. Why is it making it impossible? Don't you have any health packs to get through a tough spot?
