OK. I don't think I care enough to look.

Do Eddo36's polls suck?
SteveThaiBinh replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
How can I tell if they suck when I can't understand them? -
Two probable causes: Something is running in the background that is interfering with your installer. Try some of the tips here to clean up your system. Or: The disc is faulty. It's apparently more common than you'd think. Either take it back to the shop or email the publisher for a replacement.

Poor moderators. appears to be the pinnacle of spam here. I'd quite like to see and/or scorn that. Do you have a link? We wouldn't have you any other way.

Hasselhoff without his fancy car or surfboards is nothing. MacGuyver wins. :D Technically, it's the battle of last century, though.

Hmmmm...

For the benefit of those of us who don't follow the twists and turns of the Bioware Forum/Soap Opera day and night, could you tell us what you and/or 'that jerk' did there? In clean language and without repeating the offense, of course.

If the terrorists put the effort into destabilising Saudi Arabia that they're currently putting into Iraq, it might become a failed state. It's hard to be sure, though - with as repressive a regime as exists in Saudi Arabia, accurately gauging public support for the regime or the system is difficult.

OK, so the question is a choice between two different kinds of story. Do you mean: "Should the story of Kotor 3 be very deep and involving (but also quite linear), or should it be very flexible and non-linear, with many different ways to role-play, (but also less deep)?"
-
The 'why he dislikes the Jedi' conversation is bugged, I think. You may or may not be able to trigger it when you first talk to Disciple in the Jedi Enclave (I can't remember, I'm afraid). However, after that, you can never trigger it and will always have an influence failure. It should have been removed from the dialogue options.
-
So what you're asking is: "Should Kotor 3 be a pure role-playing game, or should it be a hybrid with elements of other genres (such as First-Person Shooter) in order to attract a wider audience?"
-
Are you asking whether the developers should focus on making one aspect of the game excellent (graphics or story or role-playing), or develop all of them equally but to a lesser extent?

Am I the only one who thought it looked really silly? Probably

Sorry, no.

question about telos old military base
SteveThaiBinh replied to dark chocolate's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
, not the Droid Planet. You're right, the planet was ditched early on, but I think some of its elements were remolded into the factory, which was dropped very late in the development process. The Restoration Project is definitely working on restoring the , which indicates it must have been relatively near completion. -
It's unknown, not because there is evidence on both sides, but because there is a dearth of evidence. The research into long term effects has not been done, mostly because the technology is too new for that kind of research to be ready yet. A recent review of the existing research by a UK expert said that there was probably no danger to adults, but some evidence - or at least greater doubt - about the effects on children. He recommended I think that people under the age of 16 only use phones in emergencies. When you buy a mobile in the UK, you're supposed to be given a leaflet warning of the risks automatically, though most vendors fail to do so.

My mobile phone (which was forced upon me) sits in the corner switched off most of the time. I didn't want it, I don't want it. Nor do I want brain cancer, the inevitable decline in English language skills, or random beeps in the night. Well, OK, it has its uses. I used it today to check that my sister, who works in London, was OK.

If 'they' means the terrorists, you may be right. But isn't it possible that they also hate us for what we do? As for the millions of non-terrorists across the world who dislike the West, that's certainly the case.

There might have been memory leaks and other problems even after upgrading to 1GB RAM, but it was such a dramatic improvement over 512Kb RAM, I was past caring. -
Speaking of Fox News: ...works to our advantage... I mean, I know that Fox News doesn't have a great reputation, but still: They almost sound jubilant. Well, taking global warming or African poverty off the agenda would be a victory for the terrorists, and it's not going to happen. And whose is the British accent I hear? Before I get flamed for anti-Americanism, I fully admit that we have people guilty of the same or worse. An adviser to Tony Blair sent a memo around on September 11 2001 saying it would be a good day to publish any bad news they didn't want to get any attention.

question about telos old military base
SteveThaiBinh replied to dark chocolate's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It was cut from the game by Obsidian before release. There's no way to access it. The cut area will likely be restored by the Restoration Project, though you'll have to wait for it. This kind of question should be posted in the spoilers forum. If you double-post by mistake, you can delete the extra posts by going to 'moderation options' at the bottom of the screen and choosing 'delete topic'. Oh, and welcome to the forums. :D -
What, like 'Acme'?

That's news to me. Considering all the fuss that's made about dirty bombs, it's rather surprising. Still, to a certain kind of terrorist or activist, it has the attraction of causing economic damage (rendering an area unusable without an expensive cleanup) without major loss of life. That kind of terrorist isn't the problem, though - if they truly exist at all.

It worked for me. Is there any news on what happened to Troika's employees? Did they end up in other companies or start another company or just disappear? Anything they produced would be high on my looking-forward-to list. -
Here in the eastern quarter, it's pretty quiet, thank you very much. I guess we'll see if this statement is genuine or fake. Apparently this particular website (if its the same one the radio is talking about) has a history of producing fake statements. If we weren't in Iraq, it would be because we took part in the first Gulf War, or because we recognise the state of Israel, or because we participate in global capitalism, or because we open our eggs at the wrong end...
