!!!!!************************!!!!! Ok, if true, this should be fixed for the PC-version. I refuse to play the game again when i reach this far already.

It should be there, or maybe the merchant outside Khooda on Dantooine has it. I'm missing the vocabulator myself, and i've scanned throughout all planets without luck

Spent 20 hours in KotOR II...
Meshugger replied to Meshugger's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
...and another update: I've completed the Peragus, Telos, Nar Shaddaa, Dxun/Onderon, Dantooine and Korriban, but the nothing seems to happen to the story, maybe i need to fly around a little and trigger another "Leviathan"-event. And i'm tirelessly seeking for HK-47's vocabulator with no luck, don't tell me that i left it on Peragus or i'm going to bang my head against the wall. -

A minor update, i managed to create a lightsaber later yesterday and have now more or less finished with Nar Shaddaa clocking at 30 hours with Korriban, Onderon/Dxun and Malachor V still unvisited. This will be a long journey for this padawan. - The story is getting more deeper, the whole "finding five star maps"-quest is very infirior IMO. - The levels are much bigger than in KotOR especially Nar Shaddaa. - I managed to influence Kreia some more, getting to know more secrets. - Handmaiden has revealed one of her reasons on why she wants to stay in my party, a small "Aaww"-feel was noted. - Atton revealed his past, quite a suprise indeed. - Visas Marr's personality is quite intruiging, my character is in love - Bao-Dur is still silent, maybe i need to him to join up for some more fighting. - Still no signs of Mandalore. - Darth Sion has gone missing since Peragus. - Darth Nihilus is now on my startup-screen. Combined with the music, it's very impressive. - Except from T3 and HK-47, which is still missing his chassis, I still haven't managed to meet any of crew from KotOR 1 in person. -
KotOR II: The Sith Lords Wrap Report - Part 2

From what i understand, the next gen-consoles will have superior bandwidth, compared to PCs that run Half-Life 2 flawlessly, so that shouldn't be a problem. -
KotOR II: The Sith Lords Wrap Report - Part 2

I would suggest that they license the Unreal Engine 3.0, pretty impressive piece of work IMO. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Omg it would be a work of art... Goodluck getting it to run on some ****ty 64mb Ram X-Box though X-Box 2 could handle it i think.... time for reseaaaaarrrrrrrch >.< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Unreal Engine 3.0 is designed for the next gen-consoles(PS3, Xbox next) and PCs alike -
Yessss....Come to the Dark Side, my child. All the power you could ever dream of! Control the galaxy! Rule over everyone with fear! Oh, and the health benefits are just fantastic. We have dental! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nice try, Sion seems really to have gotten better through the dark side's free health care. *Light side points awarded*

Hi there. -
I'm still undecided at this moment. TSL has improved on many things over KotOR 1, but the overall feel is still too early to say. Being a goody two-shoes is very difficult this time, everthing's more grey.

Indeed, but don't expect it to come out within the next 2 years. -
Imported the damn thing in order to play it, and like KotOR 1, this game is like crack, having the need to eat is an obstacle here. And as the title says, i'm having trouble getting a lightsaber, but i'm just a bit too slow i guess. ***NO SPOILERS, FEEL FREE TO READ*** My first impressions(playing as ls) are: - Not one single bug yet encountered. - The dialogue, especially by Kreia, is deeper than KotOR 1 and there's more dialogue options all together. - The bad guys in this game makes Malak look and seem like a boy scout. - The whole setting is dark, even the music is dark in areas where you think that you should be safe. - T3 has a some character this time. - Atton is pretty funny. - Kreia is borderline irritating, not by being stupid, but by her attitude. - Handmaiden is the best warrior in my party. - Bao-Dur strangely silent. - Atris doesn't like me. - There's a whole lot more of items and upgrades. - Telos is pretty big. - People claiming TSL of not having the "Star Wars"-feel are nutty.

Have you returned your copy of KOTOR 2?

No such thing. Everyone's biased in one way or the other. -
KOTOR II: from the eyes of a Star Wars FANATIC
Meshugger replied to global_74's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
One can wonder if Obsidian has taken the the same approach as the JRPG's, leaving the player figuring out the clues/solutions themselves. This way of telling a story is very prominent, for example, in the Final Fantasy series. Personally, i like that style alot more, but i have to play the damn game first before i can make the judgement whether TSL follows a similar design-choice or not. -

Indeed, stop ruining the game for those who haven't gotten it yet. -

Absolutely, T2 rocked! " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Really Terminator 2 was one of the best action movies EVER. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In terms of best ACTION movies, yes. But i would not consider it one of the best movies ever made. -

How many devs still working on the pc version?
Meshugger replied to Demigod's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
A fair amount of bug fixing is going on for the PC Version of KotOR2. I wouldn't expect any new features though. The timeline for getting the PC version ready is pretty short. -Akari <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No memory-leak this time, thankyouverymuch -

I completely disagree with you on every point. Half-Life 2 was a shallow, trying-to-be-deep game, filled with nice graphics, art-design and a huge load of gimmicks. A good game? Yes. A GOTY? Overall? Nope. Best game ever? That's like saying Terminator 2 is the best movie ever. -
To those saying they are dissapointed with KoToR2
Meshugger replied to Erevan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
lol, I didn't dig that ending! It was ok, anyway.....I was more disappointed in the Sin fight though, as he died in almost 2 rounds of combat. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's just a matter of taste i presume. A game like FFX can't have a happy ending, especially since the culture of Spira is build entirely of death. The music, and the whole finale was perfect IMO.
