  1. Yes, since he left Republic space he/she has no empire to be Lord over
  2. Like this: http://img135.exs.cx/img135/4112/projectnightmalak27bp.jpg http://img135.exs.cx/img135/7901/projectnightmalak17yy.jpg
  3. Some people at the GameFAQ boards claimed to have gotten it when they were at level 50
  4. On the contrary, i think that Obsidian is up to something on that issue. Isn't it rather curious that a former Sith Lord and giant are the only ones going after . They can wield quite some power when having a force bond, don't you think?
  5. Then a KoTOR game with you starring as Exar Kun is out of the question then?
  6. Still no luck getting in touch with any of the developers, i just PM:d Akari about, maybe i'll get a response by monday.
  7. Well, if you start up a new game then kiss any of your decent eqipment goodbye! Thank you random loot generator. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey, i got a mutakai apprentice robe(+1 strength, +1 dexterity, +1 constitution) on Peragus
  8. They took down the KotOR soundtrack because it was made by an contracted musician, Jeremy Soule. KotOR II's soundtrack on the other hand, was made by Lucasarts own Mark Griskey.
  9. Mike Gallo at LucasArts. He'll say yes, but half way through he'll change his mind. <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Heh, thanks. I'll try then.
  10. I just mailed Chris about this, but apparantly he's in Hawaii until the 16th. Who else should i contact about this issue?
  11. I can put up a torrent, if there's public interest, consisting of KotOR II's 61 songs in chronical order, for those interested, streching from the "Star Wars: Main Theme" to "Ending Credits". One of KotOR II's stronger moments were the music IMO, and when playing them again on the 'music'-selection in the menu-screen it felt a bit pale. Not only were the songs in the wrong order, some of them were missing. And to add to the top of that, the xbox gamepad is a bit clumsy compared to the mouse and keyboard for delicate matters as these. So i managed to (i will not tell you how) to extract the all the songs + ripping some from the in-game videos in order to create some kind of flow throughout the playlist. I wanted to do this, since Lucasarts apparantly has no intent to distribute a soundtrack. However, i will not do this until given the green light by the devs. More to come i guess... *UPDATE:* Sorry folks, no torrent. Read my post below for the official answer
  12. did combat actually seem easier than it were in kotor? and we didn't think that were possible. heck, we didn't even cheat ourself up to level 50 to complete the game. oh well. HA! Good Fun! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I would say it was a bit easier due to leveling over 20, but not as easy as everyone would say. But i'm not exactly the textbook example of a good player.
  13. Fair enough, i must've mixed your opinions up with someone elses. Huh? What's with the namecalling?
  14. Indeed. I played it twice without getting enough influence over Mandalore, HK-47, Mira and T3. Having to read to pWiki influence-guide is hurting the gameplay a bit.
  15. No I am not, I judged FF X-2 before I played it and seen my judgement remain the same after I play it. I hate when some people go around saying "you cannot judge something before you play it" since for me it the same "you have to eat **** to know it taste bad". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With that attitude, then i'm afraid you're going to hate TSL aswell. You're going to hate the whole story, since it resolves around you being a , which doesn't fit your perception on what the force really is. You're going to hate that . You're also going to hate that , which by the way, looked awful, and you're also going to hate that the Jedi temple on Coruscant lies empty since it doesn't fit with the EU-timeline. And you're definately going the hate the fact that I'm not even going to into the gamemechanics, since you're to bound to the d20-rules in order to accept some flexibility. Arguing with you is like discussing what "true" Metal is with a metalhead
  16. No, its not fair to FF X-2 since it lacks the many technical issues being reported by Xbox players. But there are some similarities of both game development but there are diferences, at least FF X-2 had a new combat system and was continued by the same developer. I cannot really compare both, at points one is better that the other and the other that is reversed ... FF X-2 story is hard to take at some times (like the peace concert ) and it was kinda "charlie angels" (except with a japonese pop flavor) most of the times as TSL (mind you I am a european and as such only know what been posted about the plot) appears to be a "Star Wars spin off" with concepts that make no sense in the setting, perhaps if they stop trying to rip off PS:T and TESB it might been better but I have no way to know it. For me FF X-2 is bad but TSL is worst. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're walking dangerous grounds here, you're judging a game you haven't played yet. TSL doesn't have the same presentation as KotOR, but it has shine when comes story and content IMO.
  17. KotOR II make out in a piggy ride of 3 things ... Star Wars name, KotOR success and the Xmas release. KotOR III have to live with the fact its a sequel to KotORII were they already decided what SW:KOtOR III story is all about and we are not getting sales figures at this stage, I ca say its one less sale that KotOR since I have no intention of being subject to that kind of plot, I have some taste when it comes to plot and universe intregity and I have FF X-2 to prove that I am right when it comes to have a decision if a game is good or not. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you claiming that KotOR II is to KotOR like FFX-2 was to FFX?
  18. You and about 3 other people in the gaming world. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Make that 4.
  19. I have no sense of humor when it comes to gizka so I must ask "Is this a joke or do you really want to see gizka racing?" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a joke. But i wouldn't mind if it was implemented though.
  20. Remember that any of those people behind Lucasarts' great adventure games of the '90's are there anymore, they moved on and founded new companies on their own.
  21. But in Gizka racing, you don't race them yourself (i wonder how that would work anyway), everything is based on stats + current condition, like injuries, morale and so on. In order to add some replayability, there should be a 'dark-horse'-variable in the equation, making some races more unpredictable. It's almost like championship manager, but with Gizkas
  22. Roflmao... Gizka obsession :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> After playing both KotOR games, i feel that the series is need for some witty humor, hence the "Gizka-races" :D
