  1. Good to hear that you guys/gals are still doing progress. There was no mention about the HK-factory though, are you taking a break from it?
  2. If Bioware is doing JE2, they better fix bring in Phoenix gate and double its gamelength. It was borderline abysmal in JE.
  3. It's for the Gamecube, if anyone wonders. Played it on a 28" widescreen TV with a surroundsound speakersset. The Good: - It's long and epic, it took me 60 hours to finish. - The story is great, the great plot twist was of a more surprise than in the original KotOR. (Don't be afraid if things start out simplistic, it's way more complicated than one might think) - The battle system is very diffirent, there are no manapoints, weapons or anything. Everything is done with cards that have the essence of, i.e. a sword("atk 144, def 45"), shield or spell. Think of it as a game of "magic the gathering" with diffirent number- and typecombos. - The music is simply excellent, going from the fully orchested intro to speed metal, to rave, to pshychadelic Pink Floyd, to waltz. Come to think of it, i haven't played a western RPG yet with this talent, Sakuraba demolishes the music in BG 1 & 2, KotOR 1 & 2 and Jade Empire with this game. The only one that can best this guy is the almight Uematsu(Composer of Final Fantasy-games). - You don't play as the lead character, rather as his guardian spirit, who leads Kalas and gives him advice through his journey. - Not fully 3D, but this has given the level-designers the chance to do some really beatiful levels, some are as good as looking at a painting. - It has Mizuti, one of the strangest(In a good way) characters i ever met in a game. - No random enemy-encounters. - The battles can be difficult... The Bad: ...The end-boss battle is a pain in the ass, even at level 75 i barely defeated him. - It's not much of a roleplaying game compared to KotOR, think of it as an interactive story with rpg-elements. To put it simply, it's an JRPG in it's truest glory. - It has a mandatory maze-level, ugh. - Some monsters are plain ugly aesthetically speaking. - No facial close-ups and FMV's, except the intro. The Ugly: - Inconsistent voice-acting: Mizuti is excellent, Gibari and Savyna good, Kalas is avarage, Xelha and Lyude + some other NPC are simply atrocious. Of some reason, Namco seemed to acknowledged this before the release and given the player the option to turn off the voiceovers (Not recommended though, atleast not until you met Mizuti). If the included some more FMV(or adding facial closeups), fixed some of the voiceactors, this game would've been a 9.5/10 for me. However, with this issues in the final package, i still give it an 8.5/10. Homepage The Trailer
  4. It's gone 5 weeks since "a few days" now.
  5. Eh, have i ever claimed otherwise? I wanted to point out what people are stealing not whether if it's theft or not.
  6. Let's say you own a new volvo and your neighbour got the exact same model, but for free (a clone!). Well, then your neighbour has stolen the intellectual property of the volvo design, not the car itself. Same goes for downloading movies and games. I have a friend that's so cheap that he never buys games or movies for that matter (He wouldn't see the movies or play the games if there weren't any "pirates"). So no loss for the industry there from one (1!) person. I'm not hypocritical myself, i occassionally download games or movies, but end up buying some of them later. Episode III is a definately no-no for me in terms of downloading it. I wanted to see it on a huge screen with THX sound.
  7. Glad you liked it, now you can sit down and wait patiently for Aurora's "cut-content"-patch like the rest of us.
  8. That's IT! Ewoks are force-sensitive, and they have a way better understanding of the force than the Jedi Masters ever had. They just didn't tell anyone with their "Yub-yub".
  9. He let in 3 goals in the first half....... I dont care that he saved a couple of pens He should have been sold 2 years ago and kept kirkland in goal <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Irrelevant, considering the result He's was Batman in the penalties.
  10. Sounds very ambigious, don't do more than you can't handle
  11. Yes, i have to agree with that. The music is half the movie, you wouldn't otherwise understand Anakin's feelings without William's score
  12. One could almost sink that low in order to grant them that wish, believe me <_< *DS points earned* Oh, and Mace rocked aswell, but that was so obvious that i forgot to add it to the list.
  13. I saw it tonight. My verdict: - It was the first of the prequels that i want to see again. - Yoda rocked. - Obi-Wan did aswell. - The seven goths sitting next to me sucked, whining f*cking maggots - Hayden went from bad, to float between avarage/good, yikes! - The "NoooOOOoooOOOOOooOOOoOOOOOOOOOOOOoOoO" didn't bother me, maybe i was already prepared after reading this thread. - The Emperor was more chaotic evil than i expected. - After the screening, i went straight ahead and bought the original trilogy on DVD. 8.5/10
  14. I would recommend the RPG Baten Kaitos. It's a nice JRPG, made by ex-squaresoft people who where behind games like Xenogears and Chrono Trigger. It's long aswell, i'm 50 hours in and i haven't started the last part of the game yet("Entering the bad guy's grounds/mansion").
  15. The Nintendo Revolution clearly wins the design-award among the next-gen-consoles, leaving the PS3 and the Xbox360 way behind. Hopefully they will reveal more (spec-wise, game trailers) until E3 ends.

  17. Exclusives: - Grand Turismo 5 - Devil May Cry 4 - Metal Gear Solid 4 - A new GTA - Killzone 2
  18. G4 is the MTV of the gaming world. What a horrible channel.
  19. At Gamespot. Apparantly, this one will be shown at the Star Wars Episode III movie. This game is either a masterpiece of this generation or a flop, it's no in-between.
