Yup, i rather have a new Tie-fighter-game than an RPG set in such a close enviroment as the original Trilogy.

Games listing... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oblivion seems more and more like the ultimate sandbox-game, but i'll buy that one for the PC. I couldn't care much for the rest (where's Lost Odyssey?)

Xbox360, PS3 or Revolution. The console doesn't matter, since the japanese still make the best games, no matter the console(maybe 1-2 non-japanese companies are up to it).

We'll see, M$ will probably succeed if the Xbox360 has enough of wacky japanese games.

UPDATE: This games should be called "Planescape: Crack", veeeery addictive. Not done yet, i'll review it by then.

Yes it is, think of all the times you've come home from the bar, fooling yourself that "much wasn't spen"t, until you a week later notice that you can't afford paying the rent.

KotOR 2 had a better role-playing experience, but KotOR 1 was a better game.

Yet the Killzone video, which was done in engine (all-be-it @ 5fps) looks better than the FF 12 trailer. [face_plain] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1. It doesn't look better. 2. It will not look that good, it was target-render, meaning that they will get similar graphics. Minus ofcourse the textures, lightning, A.I. and animation. 3. The PS2 promised "Toy-story graphics", yup-yup.

The FF12 trailer??? lol k I figured people would at least try, by picking next gen FMV to try and prove their point, rather than current gen games. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I should've not even bothered. FMV's take 100 of different clusters 100 hours to be done. Not to mention they have superior lightning and texture size aswell. No next-gen console will be able to match, for instance the intro FMV to Final Fantasy X.

I like them, more story and character based than western RPG. But i don't play them as with a "pure" RPG-state of mind though, i see them more like interactive stories than RPG's. And Azure, you should play trough FFX, it has one of the best endings that i've seen.

But atleast Mass Effect won't have freaking elves or stupid little magic and dragons. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep, and hopefully longer than Jade Empire.

Show me FMV that looks graphically better than those games. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *shrugs* This one. Oblivion sure looks promising (aside from the skipping frames), but endless stats, weapons and classes are redudant if there's no good story and characters in the game to keep my interest in it.
