  1. I played for 4 hours today and then i had to stop, since the damn game crashed on the Xbox360. Lucky me, there auto-saves.
  2. It must be the beautiful trees or the realistic sewer-rats. Time to play some more.
  3. Sometimes i get the feeling that Bioware is treated like Metallica of game-developers. - "Your first 2-3 games are classic, legendary!" - "Sellouts!" - "Your latest games have been sucked, stop developing for the console kiddies!"
  4. I see that you have aswell discovered the true essence of Oblivion: Sewer Rats (w00t)
  5. The rest of the list can be seen below:
  6. Who said the games are $70 ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No matter to me. Oblivion cost me 70
  7. I didn't say Obsidian was changing their nomenclature, I was pointing out that the name "Georgia" isn't a girlie name. I assumed Meshugger was a US citizen because he didn't seem to have heard of the former USSR country of Georgia. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eh, ok then. I'm quite aware of System of a Down's homecountry (or was it Armenia? or Azerbadjan? or not so official Ngorno-Karabach?) But it seems out of context to bring in countries since Obsidian is concentrated on U.S. states. //EDIT: Back to topic. While Chris Avellone's dream of a High-school RPG seemed unlikely in the past, but with SEGA as publisher, his dream might come true
  8. That i am. I don't know what meta is talking about. Too much sugar? Why should Obsidian change from U.S. states to sovereign countries? ?
  9. Project Georgia It sounds pretty ugly IMO. The words "backwood", "rural" or "country" springs to mind. No offense to citizens of the state Georgia.
  10. Still no KotOR III? Meh.
  11. IIRC, Ludo Kressh and the rest of his fleet/army disappeared after the war with Naga Sadow. They could be the remnants that still rule somewhere in the outer regions. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Two, things. First of all the Great Hyperspace War was set 1000 years before the KotOR era - all the characters in those stories have long since died of old age. Second, Ludo Kressh didn't escape - Naga Sadow killed him and destroyed his fleet, but lost most of his own during the fight, which made his forces defenseless when the Republic fleet tracked him back the Sith Empire. That's why the story was called "Fall of the Sith Empire". Naga Sadow escaped to establish his temple on Yavin IV until he was betrayed and apparently killed by his apprentice, Freedon Nadd (what actually happened there is still a bit hazy). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I didn't mean that you would meet Ludo Kressh in the flesh in KotOR III. Just some descendants of those who fought with him. But i wasn't aware that the whole fleet was wiped out. /me goes back to the drawingboard.
  12. Ok, time for my impressions. - System: Xbox360 TurboDiesel and tractioncontrol - Length played: Just got out of the sewers. The Good - Graphics(duh!) - The story is better than Morrowind - Patric Stewart - Character customization - You can make your own class. Mine: Hitikiri Battosai The bad - No actual roleplaying....yet - Animations The Ugly - I can't rename my saves?! - Art design - Load times between areas Verdict so far: Beatiful trees, seems like an interesting adventuregame with sandbox-options. No "OMG! OMG! BEST GAEM EVAR!"-feeling yet.
  13. I have one, it makes me the third one on this forum But i don't use Xbox Live, and i probably never will. Oblivion is taking all the time anyway(and Gromnir was right about the trees, very nice indeed).
  14. What's wrong with a CPU with several threads? No need for a central hub then: One handles the geometry, another handles the A.I. and another one handles the physics and so on...
  15. It doesn't have support for EAX 4 though... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> EAX is Creative's creation, and it's not even up to license for other makers of soundcards. They simply have to wait until Creative feels like releasing it public (like they recently did with EAX 3.0 and OpenAL added it shortly after). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh I know. Just pointing out something that the card doesn't have that the creative cards would. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wel,l if you like to split hairs, you got a point
  16. And trees. Don't you dare to forget about the precious trees Bah, no release yet where i live. One can only spam while waiting.

  18. Read the final line at the features, lazy-boy
  19. Classical music is something that exists in every household where i've been. There's always a cd-compilation called something in the vein of "Great Classics", with Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Haydn, Sibelius and so on in everybodys cd-library (I'm guilty of this myself). Jazz on the other hand, i've always had a bad experience with. In most of my listenings, it's composed of complex diffirent interludes, mixed together to resemble a melody. The drummer drums in polyrythms, while interesting approach, it cripples the song-structure IMO. Not to mention the lyrics, yuck! I would be glad if Lyric Suite would provide some tips of Jazz-bands that don't do music for the sake of being technical.
  20. Bah, there's other cards that are better than Creative and even have features that the X-Fi doesn't have, to an even cheaper price. The Hitec HDA Xplosion. Features: - C-Media CMI8770 PCI chipset (8CH audio single chip with DTS
