  1. A new build is up! version 0.6b3.
  2. Nah, I would guess that a "new GPU" would be something more revolutionary than that: Shader Model 4 compatible, perhaps? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whoppee! Now i can buy a graphic with a technology that no game-dev supports(yet).
  3. They're still around? Anyways, i'll check it out when it's done.
  4. Bailey and Diamond, you pretty much have it the worst. Finland welcomes you And Volourn, CURLING?!! Even my relatives in North Bay, Ontario are in denial. When i visited them, they all said "Hockey".
  5. No. I'm part of the (courtesy of Bill Hicks) "People who hate people"-party. We haven't been able to do a meeting yet, but we're working on it.
  6. ERRRR! RED CARD!
  7. So, how's life in Hell?
  8. As the thread says, state the country you live, and name the reasons you hate it. You're not allowed to bash another persons country. My country: Finland - We envy everything. In Finland you're not allowed to be rich, and you sure as hell are not allowed to good at anything. You're born mediocre, will go to school, work and die. - We can't be happy. Happiness is for gay people only, being drunk is an exception though. - Dispite having a rather large football following, we haven't yet been able to qualify to the world cup, meh. What do hate about your country?
  9. Actually... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Crackcocaine? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A form of cocaine...shared many of the same chemicals. More potent though. Keeping in mind that this is from the History Channel. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My source, the book "The raise and fall of the Third Reich", mentioned sedatives. But no matter, it doesn't make communism appliable in the real world
  10. Yup, that would be the deathblow
  11. Actually... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Crackcocaine?
  12. Hitler was absolutist, he never drank or took anything narcotic. The strongest he took was mint-tea. He was also a vegetarian and believed in animal-rights <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually...he was on drugs for a pretty long time. His primary doctor was giving him a special "brew" of narcotics for a few years there. Of course, Hitler didn't really know what was in it, he just trusted the man that much. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm pretty sure Elven6 wanted to point out that Hitler was fond of drugs and endorsed them, which wasn't the case. While the doctor gave him sedatives, it sure wasn't crackcocaine.
  13. Hitler was absolutist, he never drank or took anything narcotic. The strongest he took was mint-tea. He was also a vegetarian and believed in animal-rights There was a nation-wide, influence-free referendum? Link? You can accuse him of incompetence and he'll be out of office anyway in two years. Can a leader be prosecuted/fired from his job in communistic society? Wrong, rebellion != death.
  14. I don't follow. Change = disappointment = rebellion = fighting = death ==> communism? So, if a change equals disappointment equals rebellion equals fighting equals death implicates communism? Since every statement from 'change' to 'death' equals one another, thus: Death => Communism? I think your logic is flawed.
  15. Erhm... Football > Soccer => 'Soccer' == 'Football' => Football > Football => (Using Liebnitz criteria of true and false in logic, usually called Axiom 3.28) True > True => True
  16. So genocide is acceptable mean in order achieve a communistic utopia?
  17. The butterflies in my glass box are also communists then. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never said they were the same did I Also under Lenin many people who were poor propspered, they had food to eat and money to spend, under the Tzar what did the poeple have? Besides he was leader for 7 years and then he died, he coulden't build a utophia and everyone has diffrent mind. For instance Lenin worked on prospering and Stalin worked on strength <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lenin let 3 000 000 people starve to death. Was that communistic?
  18. Tell me something Elven6, was Lenin true to the communist idea when he, - Established a Secret Police - Established Labour camps - Executed people in the opposition - Agreed that executing the Czar family was a swell idea
  19. I'm not even going to debate that. You're funny.
  20. It can be said the same vice versa. I've played it and thougth that it has boring(too many pauses all the time). Many play it during gym class in High School (there's even a proffessional league in Finland) but Football is where the money is, and many leave American Soccer when they start collage.
  21. Nothing of above can be implemented in reality.
  22. All those countries are just your basic dictatorships functioning under the guise of communism. Communism is not the antithesis of democracy, by the way. A country can be democratic and communist. Perhaps it's even a prerequisite. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What your talking about is Canada Also Mikhail Gorbachev was no dictator, Vladimer Lenin was no dictator, I belive the USSR had only 2 dictators. Has for Fidel Castro their isn't enought TRUE evidence to prove his position <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gorbachev introduced democratic elements in communism, and what did the people want? Vladimir Lenin no dictator? False.
  23. And another one(s) will take the new power after the vakuum created by the loss of the previous leader(s). That's the nature of man, thus not communistic. That's totalitarian, and hardly communism. You'll be the poorest and the richest at the same time. People still want more stuff than their neighbour, thus the system will fail.
