Im fairly sure Obsidian is creating its own forms, not relying on I-VII. I base this on the fact that in the IGN lightsaber preview (http://xbox.ign.com/articles/563/563609p1.html) they are referred to by name not number.

I see the possiblity, but it seems to me it might hurt the kotor fanbase. A large part of the appeal for some people is being a jedi.

Vader is lvl 18 in pnp star wars d20 which doesnt translate well into character levels for Kotor.

The only reason Revan was established as "uber-powerful" as you say is because people want to play the most powerful jedi. I dont see how that will have changed in the meantime.

You misunderstand. Its not that theyll actually do any more work on the game. It has the same due date for both Xbox versions. Just different release dates. At least thats my understanding.

I just went to amazon and they only show the pc version. Every other vendor I checked (and that was around a dozen) has the release date for the xbox version as being in december. I believe your information may be wrong.

If you mean the +5 strength gauntlets then yes.

It was overpriced but some items were too good to pass up.
