Have you seen the thread about the guy over at the IGN boards who has the game? He said it. He's playing a jedi guardian though so whether the other classes get it is unknown. But I would think they would. Also, he said he got a feat called Unarmed Specialist at 6th lvl. So it seems guardians are supposed to be all around combat specialists this time.

Actually, in the new IGN article 'Give Yourself to the Dark Side' it mentions gaining unique dark side powers from the force pockets. And Ive never heard mention of light side force pockets. Whether they exist or not is a mystery.
