  1. Well, I decided not to wait. Here's Chapter One. Oh, and I forgot to mention earlier, if you have any questions concerning anything (about the chapters), ask and I will answer where I can. Chapter One Many Years Later Crown Prince Vikor IV, scion of Emperor Vikor III, heir to a third of the galaxy and time in all its dominion, sprawled at his ease in the interface chair of the Tulovian Imperial Fleet observatory ship Galileo en route to his first assignment as an Academy graduate and Imperial cadet.
  2. Would it be possible to learn this power?
  3. It was alright up until the point where you reveal the Dark Sith Lord as the Exile. IMO, a former PC shouldnt be forced into a role opposed to that possible within the game without input by the player. In other words, he should only be evil if the player says so. From then on, it went sharply downhill from my point of view.
  4. Though I profess no skill at self-critique, I believe I know the passages to which you refer. First, when Ogren speaks of "national security." Secondly, the entire base scene seems contrived and cliche. Also, dialogue is definitely not my forte. Anything I missed? Though I welcome any comments, more detailed posts would be most helpful. And in case anyone wants to continue reading, I'll post Chapter 1 tomorrow.
  5. What the hell are you talking about? Unless my wits desert me, the lies of Sony and fanboys have struck again.
  6. Why, thank you, DL. And this is just an introduction to my universe, so to speak. The remainder of the story is quite different in nature. Remember, any comments you might have, please share.
  7. Ah. That would be Nomi Sunrider. AKA Ulic Qel-Droma's wife.
  8. You are correct. I apologize for my impatience, yet know that I am simply anxious at the reaction (thus far none) garnered by my work.
  9. Please respond someone. I find it surprising how many people gush over drawings or digital art, yet completely lack any interest in commenting on its literary equivalent. Arch is a sad, sad boy.
  10. Well with the rash of art threads, I thought I'd throw my own hat into the ring. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts to the contrary, I lack all skill in the visual medium; my talent seems to lie in the literary arts. Thus, I propose to post a portion of my current writing. Feel free to leave commentary, positive or negative, as all critiques help. I must warn you, my favored genres are sci-fi and fantasy, so such will my writing contain. And please if you have any idea as to how to improve the general concepts of my piece, say something! Now, without further ado, the prologue of my first major work: "The Stranger Within" May 16, 2032 Despite his wishes, the ceiling revealed nothing except the slowly shifting pre-dawn shadows. Another sleepless night - not that he dared sleep. When consciousness fell away, he knew darkness would surge and the nightmares envelop him again. Mothers still scared their children with the thought of monsters, however, few truly believed in bogeymen. Viktor Cromwell knew differently; he knew that evil existed. In the beginning, he had been a simple scientist working on his first independent research project with a single assistant. The lab was typical, if better stocked than most, being of corporate sponsorship. Bottles of all shapes, sizes, and configurations filled with carefully labeled but still mysterious liquids lined the dual counters, east and west. Along one wall rested a complex of perhaps twenty cages, each filled with a single rat or rabbit, named for expediency
  11. BH is a PrC in the PnP. (w00t)
  12. The decoder ring. Didnt you get one when you joined?
  13. In the olden days, we referred to Darth Nihilus as MSG (Masked Sith Guy, I believe it meant) before his identity was known.
  14. I could picture the face in my head, just couldnt remember the name of the species! Thanks for the reminder.
  15. Hoorah! Someone who shares my love of sarcasm! :D
  16. The first of many successes, I hope.
  17. Except for the missing W and K, that works perfectly! (w00t) Personally, I agree with Arkan.
  18. Useless trivia: A raisin dropped in a fresh glass of soda will bounce up and down continually from the bottom of the glass to the top. (I haven't tested this.)
  19. A little more information is required. "OMG! Its crashing! Help!" isnt sufficient for a diagnosis.
  20. Also, if you have completed all the current conversations with Bastila, when you land on Tattooine, a woman should approach you near the entrance to Anchorhead that tells you about Bastila's mother at the cantina. Also, a few Rodians (I think, can't quite remember, they might be Ubeks) talk near the Czerka office about an obnoxious woman in the cantina. This triggers the quest as well.
  21. Look, I'm sorry, but your poisonous drivel has spread quickly across these boards and I am beginning to tire of it. At least make an attempt to seriously contribute.
  22. First of all, the "would in the force" idea has been done by KOTOR II. I see no reason to redo it with Revan. Next, this story seems a poorly adapted rehash of idea elsewhere on these boards, with a little Ep 3 thrown in for good measure. <_<
  23. Maybe because its not feasible that a droid, beast, etc. would drop Mandalorian items at a dime?
