According to your theory, the robes act differently for Jedi than they do for regular people. The only real difference between Jedi and most individuals is their control of the force. Thus, why would the robes act differently without some influence of the force. And Im fairly sure the Qel Droma/Starforge robes/Revan's robes were force imbued.
Ign has changed the video for Telos. It now is shorter and has different music, most likely that covered by Bastila's Theme before. If so, this would be our first example of Kotor II music.

Frankly, endless waves of enemies become tedious and monotonous, more of an annoyance than an obstacle. Exactly like the starforge as pixies mentioned. In other words, not much fun and fun is the point of the entire video game industry.
