  1. After reaching level 18 the flaw Easily distracted enforces the negative and let's me only add points to the lowest skill, but the benefit of 3 skill points is not working anymore.

  2. Elf is good for DEX and PER, but better Wood Elf than Pale Elf, Elemental Endurance is an occasional bonus. Boreal dwarf is occasional too, and you don't want DEX malus. Towerin Phisique is nice and also +2 MIG, but the best for me would be Moon Godlike, DEX and INT bonus plus self healing

  3. I just finished Tyranny, and, I know people are satisfied with the ending or just replaying the game a bunch of different ways. I also assume people are okay with not having a sequel due to how much work and commitment it would take to make a game that compares to the original. I don't know, I assume the other endings maybe leave off on a way that makes a sequel seem less probable??? If there is even really another "ending" because I've read a few things about it through reddit, but don't want to spoil it, should I decide to try again another way. Idk. I only got my ending, it's all I needed. I liked the game and Obsidian is tied with Bethesda and Bioware for my favorite developers, so, I had to say something somewhere I guess. That's all. It'd be probably too much work, and I'm basically saying this to the wall, but, I like to dream. Mass Effect/Dragon Age save transfer and like 10 years of work. You got it, surely.

  4. I confess that I didn't put much stock in Trump taking the test again: it's at least the third time he's taken it and bragged about it after the fact for reasons only understandable to the uniquely stupid person known as Donald J. Trump. Every time it's been administered, there's been the same sort of "the fact that a doctor forced(?) him to take it implies bad things about his mental state" media reaction to it, but like most "surely he's doomed now" headlines concerning Trump*, that unfortunately really just doesn't matter to anyone who didn't already care the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth times they read it. The amusement I got out of it was the irony of Trump conflating a cognition test with an IQ test, but it's not like we didn't already know the guy was dumb. *Everyone should know all too well by now that the only headline that will convince anyone of Trump's certain doom is the one that announces his actual literal death. Until then or maybe until the economy really explodes and we've got tens of millions of people demonstrating in the streets weekly, I'm afraid that he will unfortunately continue to get away with just about everything. Not that we should ignore everything in the interim, but we've clearly decided as a nation where we're going with this until we reach a real boiling point that actually gets through to the average news-disconnected moron in our great country of proud ignorance and inequality.

  5. Shrug, right back at you. You asked the question of why, twice, you got the answer, twice second time with a direct quote- and you didn't like it, twice. Nobody else's fault but yours about that. Indeed, your response is highly reminiscent of what you'd expect from... Donald Trump insisting something is wrong because Sleepy Joe said it. I'm not one to take Trump at face value, but there is literally nothing to support your assertion- made twice- that Trump's doctors wanted him to take a cognition test. Nothing. His doctors don't say that. Trump didn't say that. He has a demonstrated history of demanding them to be taken previous and (allegedly) took them previous. He even got it being a cognition test rather than an intelligence one correct, initially. You might think it's silly trying to own Biden by passing a cognition test, I might think it's silly* but it's entirely in keeping with Trump's character over decades, and is something he demonstrably said he'd do and supposedly had already done more than a year ago. Again, the clearly in decline Biden couldn't be 'forced' to take one as you asserted Trump was. There is literally nothing to support you except it being Trump. You do actually have to come up with some evidence that Trump is lying besides his lips moving. Otherwise it's just Trump Derangement Syndrome and you can accuse him of quite literally anything- and whatever he says is evidence for your view. In this case everything is readily explainable by the one thing pretty much everyone except his absolute fanboys would agree Trump has- chronic narcissism. He was boasting about passing the test because Biden refused (or 'refused'), and because a load of people asserted he had dementia, and because he said he would and people would complain if he didn't. That's what he said, it makes sense from the perspective of a chronic narcissist, it's what he said he'd do more than a year ago; and there's literally no counter evidence provided. Disbelieving him him just because it suits you is an extraordinarily weak argument, even for you. Indeed, it's not really an argument at all. *not wholly so, after all Biden clearly was in decline and you got lots of people asserting Trump had dementia as well as a deflection from that. From Harris's recent comments you get the idea that she would have loved Biden to have taken one as well before deciding to stand again...

  6. Again, thanks guys. I think I’m going to make the changes you guys outlined and see how this works . I’ll brb oh btw, pale elf is still a reasonable choice right? Or should I have gone Aumaua or boreal dwarf or moon godlike or something else? Since you’ve made solo runs I thought I might ask

  7. This is happening to me, too! I have no food or meds in my inventory and I collect literally all of it. Nothing left in there. I just got to golden ridge when I noticed. So frustrating.

  8. Rotfinger Gloves are very good, because iirc the radius of that implementation of Touch of Rot on the gloves is much bigger than the actual Druid spell's (which only has 1.25m radius I believe the gloves' spell has at least twice the radius?). I suspect Touch of Rot got nerfed at some point during development, but since spells on items are just hard copies of those spells (and don't get changed when you alter the original spell) the Touch of Rot on the gloves was forgotten and stayed nice and big. Just a theory though, I don't know for sure. Concerning Combusting Wounds: Touch of Rot causes a DoT (after the initial dmg) - that doesn't trigger Combusting Wounds stacks like pulsing spells do. Wall spells are perfect because they pulse every second and stay for a fairly long time. Beams also pulse every second but have a short duration of 10 seconds which cannot be altered, so I don't consider them to be great in combination with Combusting Wounds. Chillfog however works nicely because it pulses every 3 secs and in addition does blind - which helps to hit with the wall spell more often. There are some boots which can trigger a beam by themselves (when you get crit iirc). Those could be cool if you wear them when you plan to treat a boss with Combusting Wounds. Same as multiple Retaliation items I guess. But I never tried that out tbh. You have to keep in mind that when going solo you will have to cast all those spells yourself, so timing Combusting Wounds + Wall + Chillfog optimally is a bit of a challenge. Works better with lots of DEX and Deleterious Alacrity.

  9. "Saga of the Malfunctioning Mechanicals" quest stays in the active section of the Journal under "Mentioned" even after Hogarth moves to Fairfield. Quest becomes impossible to complete even after acquiring the parts it asks for.

  10. Im about 80 hours into Cyb2077 and Im about to finish the last mission Its been fun but not fantastic, firstly the game gets a 60/100 on the globally respected " BruceVC game rating system ". Thats not a terrible score, anything higher than 50 is still worth playing I found myself getting bored with the game and most of the missions and the main reason for this is because Im not a big cyberpunk fan. So its not like Witcher and fantasy which is my favourite RPG genre First what I liked about the game very stable now. No serious bugs or crashes, maybe 3-4 CTD and I was using loads of mods I liked the hacking and braindance mechanics I liked the details with Night City and the NPC. It felt like a living city NPC and companions had interesting side quests I completed Phantom Liberty in the middle of the main quest and that was an interesting diversion There were some unique side-quests and choices I had to make like should I support the guy who wanted to crucify himself on live TV The races were fun and hunting all the cyberpsychos added some challenge to combat What I didnt like about the game Combat becomes too easy, nothing really can kill you on higher levels the city doesn't really have much to do outside of a few common activities the lore didn't motivate or interest me. not enough Romance or adult content. This is suppose to be a city of depravity and corruption and you were limited around what you could interact with despite extensive crafting available I ended up just using 3 weapons all the time I didnt end up using most of the special abilities as you increase in levels because I didnt need to use them in combat. Its a strange mechanical implementation in a game if you dont need to use something you have levelled up towards? As I mentioned my main issues with the game is because Im just not a cyberpunk fan Overall, fun game but nothing like the Witcher games

  11. Hi orillah, glad you're enjoying the build DPS calculation in this game is tricky business, as so many things come into it (attack speed, damage per swing, DR bypass, enemy's DR, accuracy vs. deflection, lashes, other abilities, ...) and there's a point past which making comparisons becomes very hard. This is one of those cases, as we're way past the point where differences ... well, make a difference. I mean, reaching 0 recovery while packing damage bonuses looks and feels cool, but you can easily beat the game with a lot less firepower—and this gives you ample room to tailor equipment choices to your preferences and play style. Tidefall is (has always been) an impressively good weapon and is definitely still a good choice for this build, even though I didn't personally go for it. Running a quick DPS comparison for the sake of argument: Attack speed at 24 frames for both weapons; recovery is 0 for the BotEP, (135% - 72.5% = 62.5% * 50 = 31 / (1.36)) = 23 frames for Tidefall. Both have a 4-frame animation delay, so total attack time is 28 frames for BotEP, 51 frames for Tidefall. Both can be enchanted with an elemental lash, which adds +25% of the total damage against 25% of the relevant elemental DR (but with Vulnerable Attack, both have a higher DR bypass than 25% of the target DR we're using in this example.) Average DR against Pierce is 9.5; against Slash/Crush is 8 (source) so I'll use these values. Both weapons using Vulnerable Attack. Tidefall has the Raw DoT lash as well, which I'll try to take into account. Average damage per swing when fully buffed (MIG 37) should be as follows: Min = 14 * (1 + 0.81 + 0.15 + 0.15 + 0.1 + 0.2 + 0.45) = 40 Max = 20 * (1 + 0.81 + 0.15 + 0.15 + 0.1 + 0.2 + 0.45) = 57 (40 + 57) / 2 = 48.5 DPS calculation assuming Accuracy = Deflection and all hits (no misses, grazes, or crits): BotEP (10 DR Bypass) 1 attack every (28 / 30) = 0.93 seconds Swings in 10 seconds = 10.71 (let's round it down to 10 for the sake of simplicity) Pierce damage = 48.5 - (9.5 - 10) = 48.5 Lash damage = 48.5 * 25% = 12.1 Total = 48.5 + 12.1 = 60.6 damage per swing DPS = 60.6 * 10 = 606 Tidefall (5 DR Bypass) 1 attack every (51 / 30) = 1.7 seconds Swings in 10 seconds = 5.8 (let's round it up to 6 for the sake of simplicity) Slash/Crush damage = 48.5 - (8 - 5) = 45.5 Lash damage = 45.5 * 25% = 11.4 Total = 45.5 + 11.4 = 56.9 damage per swing DPS = 56.9 * 6 = 341.4 + Raw lash Raw damage = 11.4 over 5 seconds This is harder to calculate, but over 10 seconds you should be able to put through 4 full Raw lashes and two partial ones (to simplify, I'll count the latter two as 1 full Raw lash). That's 57 damage. DPS = 341.4 + 57 = 398.4 BotEP is the clear winner, but Tidefall also heals you by 20% of the damage you deal which is pretty neat.
