  1. I got a free copy of the new Hexen+Heretic release since I owned both Hexen and Heretic on my Steam library. Trying it out now. Also, thank you Bethesda! I don't care if you ruined the Fallout franchise so long as you give me free stuff.

  2. I built a base around the oak tree, so I spend a lot of time harvesting grass and stems at the base of the tree. I'm having problems with enemies spawning inside the roots of the tree. I've noticed this in particular in roots near the trash can and on the north side of the tree. Also, I was next to the tree when "Somebody" attacked, and the spawn point for the enemies appeared to be inside the trunk of the tree, where they join with the roots. When enemies are inside the tree, they can still damage me and my buggy, but my weapons bounce off the tree instead of damaging enemies.

  3. Downloaded game the first day it was available and have been playing faithfully everyday, these are the things my friends and I have noticed need improvement. I'm sure this list will be updated as gameplay progresses. *Having the ability to place a angled floor piece and then build a square floor piece directly off it following that angle would be amazing. *Ability to affix pallets of inventory (planks and stems) to zip lines. *Rank up buggy (damage, capacity, stamina) *Permanently keep plants from growing through buildings. *Damaged enemies don't regain full health upon player death. *Ability for buggy to revive you. *Don't show molars you've already collected on the map. What's the point!?

  4. First of all, thank you for all the work you’ve put into the game so far. I’ve been having a great time playing and exploring everything it currently has to offer. Since I really enjoy it, I wanted to share some constructive feedback from my ~55 hours of play to hopefully help improve the Early Access experience even more. Balancing End boss: Feels too easy because you get a lot of healing items right before the fight. Environmental effects: Heat is extremely punishing (coal area kills in ~3s) while cold is barely dangerous. Few ways to protect against heat. Trinkets: Power levels vary a lot – some are very strong, others barely worth using. Weapons: Robot Arm (hammer) – huge damage, AoE, and fast stun. Daggers – can one-shot almost everything except mantis/wolf spider. Mosquito Needle – combined with good armor, you’re almost immortal. Ranged weapons – slow, low damage, no block option. Fists/daggers – hitbox too small, tiny bugs are hard to hit. Gameplay Spider riding & fall damage: Sometimes you take far more damage than expected, even from small drops, leading to instant death. Plants in bases: Trees and pine needles often grow inside structures. An option to disable plant spawns in built areas would help. Bee loot: Bees drop very little fuzz, slowing progress. Resource scanner: Often points to materials already collected or that don’t exist. Bugs Flying insects: Bees and butterflies can get stuck high in the air, never landing or respawning. Enemies in terrain: Some spawn inside objects or underground. They can hit you, but you can’t hit them. AI pathing: Insects often get stuck, making them easy to cheese. Infinite fall gaps: Getting stuck falling between tight gaps until using a mount. Shop: Pebble foundation recipe stays for sale even after multiple purchases. Performance After several hours of play, stutters appear when performing new actions, and occasional crashes can happen. Final note I’m really enjoying Grounded 2 and plan to keep playing. These points don’t take away from the fun, but I think fixing them would make the game even more polished and balanced. Thanks for all the hard work – I’m excited to see where it goes next.

  6. I don’t know about the cicada noise from a personal preference standpoint. That aside it seems like they would be a neutral until attacked insect for us but get into fights with hornets…actually it’s more like the hornets would pick fights with the cicadas. Crickets are listed in the winter update so look forward to that. Dung beetles could be interesting. If gardening had a stronger focus in the game, I’d say that armor set could provide gardening perks, but gardening is limited in grounded 1 & 2. We could craft a new shovel using their shells. Maybe collect dung as another fertilizer. Dung beetles can be territorial towards their own kind. Maybe the dung beetle armor set has a consequence of triggering their aggression when otherwise they would be passive. I haven’t quite figured out what the perk would be yet to offset that negative.

  9. It may be quite a small nitpick but for me it is the main thing that has been annoying me in my play through so far is when you take or put stuff into storage you have to hold down a button to take the whole stack, I play on controller and in the first game it was X to take or deposit one or Y to deposit the stack. Now you have to hold down X to deposit and it becomes really annoying when you try to sort out your storage, especially with my game freezing for a second every time I deposit something. I also annoys me how if you hold down X for deposit stack on a single item, it makes you have to press it instead which is tedious when you are just emptying your whole inventory as you have to switch between holding and pressing. I think the easiest way to fix this minor issue would be to just make it like grounded one where you could press a different button for deposit one or depositing the whole stack. but this game is still great so far and I am looking forward to future updates!
