  2. How about going back over a few suggestions for construction? Personally, I'm a big fan of this one in grounded! We could start with locations or build. It would be nice to be able to build everywhere again, as we did in 1, using stumps and other elements of the scenery. Also, and I think this is the most interesting, why not build in the typical biome like frozen biome? - Imagine making a more risky chalet-like base with heaters and crackling paths to keep up with the spawn. Why not make the buildings have an insulation rating? To build in the hot biome too? - What if furniture, walls and other buildings could then be constructed using materials from these biomes? Burnt grass or frosted grass, which would produce different patterns? Dedicated buildings? Frosted chandelier or glowing fireplace? A machine for cooling and a charcoal chandelier for warming? Then, perhaps improved resource harvesting and transportation in large quantities! Firstly, buggies could follow us into icy biomes with the help of evercharde charcoal pouches that would allow them to accumulate a sufficient heat threshold to follow us! It would be nice if we could later have other buggies like the ant, but which allow us to harvest higher-level resources. Or allow the ant to harvest resources at the level of our omnitool? Why not add bags to them, for example? Or, to finish off equipment for buggys ? , make it possible for the ant to equip saddlebags to carry more resources, or attach a sled to it to support more rods. What do you think? Next, an idea for a building that's close to my heart. I'm putting it at the end, because I know it's far too specific to be interesting. I know this one will probably never be read, but I'd love a structure into which we could drop our buggies and watch them move. That would allow for buildings like ranches - it would be incredible! No ?

  3. Is it possible to introduce a way to mark/favourite items so they are not hot deposited into storage when using this facility, such a bandages/arrows. Hot deposit is useful for storing resources quickly but then I have to pick up bandages/arrows/tufts again.

  4. Hello friends! Here are the patch notes for Hotfix 0.1.2.1 Resolved an issue that caused players to crash when the Founders Pack equipped. Addressed an issue that should fix AI pathing behavior. Due to an unintended issue - The ORC bee by the blueberry bush should now move back to their intended location. Various stability enhancements have been made, including improvements to the process of sending your buggy home. Hopefully this will help players progress through the story. We are continuing to work on the existing issues in the game as well as any new reports that come in. Please feel free to submit a support ticket if you run into any issue with the game. Obsidian Support Thanks!

  6. Got a fancy new computer. Instantly stopped wanting to play video games. Decided to play Dune. It was alright, got bored. Now I am playing franchise hockey manager, which is basically an excel spreadsheet game... making good use of that expensive computer.

  7. Hey there, I was just wondering if we will see a Patch or any kind of Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Grounded. I would really love to play Grounded on the Switch. I only played it on PC so far and can‘t handle the Graphics and Performance on the Switch 1. It would be awesome if we get a Graphics and Performance Patch or upgraded Version for the Switch 2! Saw a few posts on Reddit about it aswell.

  8. Platform (Xbox Console, PC Game Pass, PC Steam). PC Game Pass Multiplayer or Single Player Game (if multiplayer, can you let us know how many players in total in the game, and their platforms if you know this). Multiplayer host Shared world, 2 players, Steam (he), PC Game Pass (me) Description of issue. A screenshot or video can be helpful as well. I tried to load up my game after playing last night after 0.1.2 update, and everytime I try to continue my Shared world as host, it keeps on crashing and the Unreal engine error menu shows up, report and restart. I wonder if these reports go to Unreal or Obsidian or both but anyways, I cannot continue my game. Please help. (OneDrive link to saved crash. 9. I was looting a mosquito beak while having a full inventory and pressed E while hovered over a blade of grass. I took out the omnitool, unequipping my weaver daggers and placing the beak in my inventory. The daggers are not on the ground nor in my inventory. I had this issue occur last night with the same scenario, spamming e to loot and hovered over a grub, lost those daggers too from taking out the shovel and looting a grass fiber. Guessing when the game sees your inventory full and you take out the omnitool, your weapon is held in an extra inventory space. Having the tool out equips that specific omnitool to your strong hand, while your weapon is not deposited into your inventory. Perhaps also having the torch auto-equip with the omnitool since it is not equipped with the dual daggers is causing an issue with the opening inventory space on omnitool use. Anyone else experienced this?

  10. SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT *FINAL WARNING* After completing the ACT I and playing for 30 hours (and continuing to play) I've struck a few ideas for potential O.R.C Bugs Evolution. Now obviously I don't know what is already in the blueprints or the route that Obsidian would like to take the O.R.C bugs after the first ACT but I would like to see some sort of evolution in them and some sort of challenge put into them after finishing each ACT to keep the O.R.C bugs fresh and keep us on our toes with our strategies on tackling these bugs. Now we have a chunky list already and I am happy with it BUT if we are going to be fighting these same creatures through out every ACT and the entire playthrough I would love there to be a change to them to start of the list of examples lets take the Orb Weaver first. After ACT one I would imagine that the Mysterious Stranger (MS) would have to up their game with these creatures, so as a start she takes the Orb Weavers front legs (that they use for making a defensive web) and "O.R.Cify" them, now whenever an O.R.C Orb Weaver enters defence mode they summon a purple holographic web almost like a force field that redirects the players hits into energy, this energy being shown by the web shield getting brighter. This energy then charges the Orb Weaver's scream attack, when used it will empower them and any Weaver Jrs/Spiderlings around them with O.R.C energy for 2 seconds or something. Now this holographic web shield can still be broken but it has to be OVERCHARGED and start to get cracks on it to be broken and to cancel out the scream ability, I feel to help with breaking the web could stay up longer and or take more damage from certain weapon types/trinkets (sour for example). This change would make it so the Weaver's scream isn't just for a small fear factor, or the web for just pure blocking BUT now as a decision maker/potential game changer for the player, will you attack the web and overload it potentially empowering other spiders around you? Or will you not attack it and focus on everything else around it first. One last example to wrap this up is the lady bug. The lady bug's strong and BIG back could be used to O.R.C bug's advantage now the wings of the lady bug have been replaces with O.R.C custom wings and now when hit consumes energy to charge and empower the Lady Bug, now whenever the lady bug uses it's scream ability NOT ONLY will it heal itself, but it will also heal fellow O.R.C Enemies, the range and healing amount is affected by how charged it is up to a maximum. This could encourage the player to either leave the lady bug as last letting it be a menace and charging the player knocking them off course OR get the player to try and take it on but trying their best to avoid hitting the wings on the Lady Bug. I'm sure these changes aren't exactly the route that Obsidian would want to take the game, but I felt it appropriate to at least PUT the idea out there to potentially encourage SOMETHING that could bring changes to O.R.C creatures after finishing ACT 1. I have alot more ideas for these bugs in the bank and are more than willing to share if requested. Thank you for reading

  11. I use sunscreen as much as possible. Both my parents have stuff removed regularly by their dermatologist, so I'm trying to stay ahead of that. My skin doctor tells me most of the stuff I have is just barnacles, so that is an interesting old man thing I've got going on.

  17. Please bring back the Mutation quick select wheel. The button is now occupied by the buggy wheel, but I don't know why it would cost the functionality of changing your mutation loadout of the fly. It's really hard to go from a traveling speed build and getting into combat and have to open up the menu and select the proper one. Also, I don't know if it's bugged or not implemented yet but having multiple hot bars accessible with scroll wheel was very convenient. Game so far has been amazing though even with the game being so early and I feel like the content added so far is thought out and engaging. I appreciate all of your efforts.

  18. Grounded 2 is great fun, but the intensity of the flashing is particularly bad in tight spaces and larger volumes near the Statue POI. It would be great to have an accessibility option to disable the light from the enemies so that we can save some headaches.

  22. It just so happens that I have a few ideas for grounded 2 buggy projects. It's up to you to tell me what you think. First of all, I'd like to say that the idea of making the game more rpg-accessible is a real pleasure in my eyes, and the class synergy is really nice. 4 classes is a good start, but why not add 1 or 2 more? A bard: the bard is a universal rpg class. How about a class that plays music and airs in the middle of a fight in order to chew up its team and debuff the enemy mob. Musical weapons created from cricket vocal chords, for example. Or instruments carved from natural elements to create weapons that don't necessarily require you to kill insects! An essentially multiplayer class, like the queen wasp's bow, which could be paired with her buggy in combat to be just as destructive solo. Summoners: a much underestimated class in grounded 1, thanks in particular to the numerous summoning trinkets and thorns, the latter could be a class suited to ranged combat, with a scepter to summon mobs of varying levels. Better still, a buggy dedicated to creature buffing could work in synergy with it. What's more, it would be interesting at level 3 to offer the possibility of summoning 2 buggys at the same time for combat. Finally, my addition. My favorite: I particularly like buggies. they're excellent and, depending on our class, offer incredible synergy possibilities. An insect that can take damage for the rogue, mage or bowman, and creatures with more access to damage for the warrior, summoner or bard ;). Here are my suggestions for these incredible insects: - How about, for example, customizing our buggies with armor, increasing their damage, life or transport capabilities. A buggy containing a cooking spit, for example, would be excellent? Then push the possibility of customization, this is due to my rpg fan side but what about introducing a skill tree for our dear mounts. They can die in difficult situations, so let's make it important to keep them alive, maintain them and make them fight, with an experience system that would allow them to win. Bonus attacks, unique skills or stat increases. Let's imagine an Orbweaver that could bite and poison, allowing the rogue to strike like a madman. Or an ant that could call on two workers in battle to help out without having to go looking for them? The possibilities are endless, so help us spread the word, even if it doesn't incorporate these ideas!
